It doesn’t apply any reduced cooldowns on toolbelt skills and doesn’t show any stats on the hero pannel.
Edit: It just doesn’t show up in the hero pannel.
That sounds like it would be fun! I have been playing since release with only a small break. My girlfriend has also been playing for a couple months since I got it for her. Don’t worry, I live in SF!

The main theme of the armor was to give my character a very inquest vibe.
Wouldn’t it be nice if skills had a way of making your character stand out based on what they were using?
Say an engineer is using some form of kit, make the weapon or device appear on him.
Or warriors with their war banners.
Maybe diversify gathering tools a bit and make those appear too.
Though it would be hard to think of things for certain skills, it’s still an idea I wanted to share.
I did try that, but it still didn’t work.
Whenever I try to dye it or the boots, they won’t save, but the helm does perfectly.
Seems interesting, but some skills seem to require other skills.
Example, Overcharge requires the Steam giant skill, what if they have no steam giant.
The off hand pistol would only fit with a main hand pistol.
It would really limit the use of some skills. The idea is to have different skills that work with each other, if you looked at the example I made, there were all skills that required a Servitor, so if you didn’t have the Servitor up or it was on CD then you would need to switch Gauntlets for a new set of utilities.
And I dont understand what you mean by off hand pistol as there isnt one, there are no off hand weapons for this class as any 1h weapons essentially become a 2h weapon with the Gauntlet
Oh, didn’t read the gauntlet part. That would be interesting indeed.

This is actually something I kinda envisioned when i first heard of Guild Wars 2 from a friend, and very much something i want to be put into the game.
Please allow engineers to use their flamethrowers underwater. It is vital to some builds, and I’m sure you can find a way to make some sense of it. There’s not really much else to be said, but i hope this is put into consideration.

The wolf bug is right, it even affected me But the other items are for one character only, but you could transfer them through the bank.
There is actually a way around this bug, but it should be fixed anyways for future players. If you manually drop it so that it’s underwater still, but close enough to be picked up on land, you can finish the mission.
I like engineer and all his weapon kits, gives me a vast amounts of skills in all varieties at my disposal, and it has lots of skills that are good for getting out of dangerous situations.
I also have not gotten it, but got an email and in-game mail that gave me the other items (chalice, Rytlocke, Book) when I had those since I bought the pack. I really wish to get it on my Asura Engineer since thats pretty much the only one I play on. The other characters on my account with it really taunts me.
