Not at all… believe me, all the people from the headstart thought the transfers would end after a week, and we were all happy to see that there was free transfers at the begining. Now it’s just too much. Especially in a game where there’s competition between servers.

You’re the only one from JQ I guess, and no it’s not always full, maybe it is now, but everytime I’m online it’s High. The “Low-Med-High-Full” thing depends on who’s online on that server, not how many people are on that server.

The only way to balance is to enable transfers to low population servers, but disable them to high and full servers. I still don’t understand why free transfers are still there.

Come down to Kaineng, Devona’s Rest, Borlis Pass, Ferguson’s Crossing, Anvil Rock and Darkhaven to see what free transfers can do to a server. Your extra long queue times may have been annoying. But believe me, having your server rendered a ghost town and not able to be competitive in wvw is worse.

Ah, yes, I could see the disruption of communities to be a detriment. With that type of behavior perhaps you are correct, but leave the bottom half of the servers free with a CD.

I just feel bad for Jade Quarry right now. I’m here since the three day headstart, I got a lot of friends just from day one, I saw guilds being created, guilds merging, everything. We have our own website, our own teamspeak server, you know it’s like those WoW medium servers where everybody knows eachother, well, even though Jade Quarry has always been a high-full server, it was the same feeling. Now it’s getting destroyed because we all worked hard to get to #1, and people join in because transfers are free and they love to claim that they are #1.

You got everything wrong. HoD had 10 mins queue before, then 30, then 4h, and now back to 0 queues. Same thing will happen to JQ. Queues are getting longer and longer and longer.

HoD had TA on their server, a big and known alliance. When people realized that TA was going to Henge of Denravi, and realized that they were pros, and took HoD to #1, everybody transfered to HoD just to be #1. Same thing happening to JQ right now, except that JQ has always been a calm server, with its own community, but now people from every server are flooding JQ just to be #1.

You guys killed HoD, and are now destroying JQ. Why didn’t you block server transfers a month ago ? When the game was out, I was happy that server transfers were free because I could chose which server was good for me (that was during the three-day headstart). I thought it was going to be like that for a week, and it was perfect. Why aren’t the transfers blocked ? Please answer me, you guys are slowly killing WvW with those transfers… Atleast give a one-time free transfer for each account, and the rest has to pay.

Hod beat JQ last week and it was very close in this match up between this this time also up until about the last day or so. Not sure if more people left HOD or what but it looks like JQ has it now.

After TA fell apart, a few guilds transferred off of HoD to join other servers; HoD hasn’t had nearly as much organization as before and it shows in this matchup. Not an excuse though, servers have to fight through that and show why they’ve been number 1 since launch, but it’s time that they’ve lost to wake them up.

With that said, the elitist attitude coming from some people in JQ is unnecessary. Feel proud that you’re ahead of the number 1 server for now; don’t act like you’ve been entitled for it and HoD has just continuously stole it from you, they’ve been on top until now for a reason.

I can assure you that nobody on JQ has an elitist attitude. Why wouldn’t we be proud and entitled for it ? The reason that HoD was first was because they were a pre-built community with great players and great guilds. Yes HoD was first, and they deserved it. But JQ is proud because we got no big-alliance, no big guilds, nothing. We started from nothing and built a great community around WvW. EVEN IF TA was still there, it would be just a matter of time for us to be equal to them, and even surpass them.

Geez.. all the people got so hyped over the WvW stuff.. It’s not like they pay you gems for doing good in WvW (some of the games do). And they even reset every week. I am sure people will get bored of it really quickly . For those who actually want action they should go spvp or tpvp.

I got bored real quick of sPvP. WvWvW is always something new, there’s always action, I can pass 8 hours on it, and feeling like it was 30 minutes. sPvP is just a honor farm, people don’t even play to win, they play to have the most honor possible, and untill there is a ranked PvP ladder, WvW will always be better (IMO).

Dude, believe me it’s impossible to ally with a server, and even if it was, it’s part of war. I probably am on the server that got double teamed the most and yet I’m still saying this.

It’s working as intended. Alliances don’t exist. It’s something the server that is getting owned is creating just to find an excuse for their loss. Believe me it’s impossible to make alliances since a lot of people on the field are pugs, and are going to fight red names without even looking at the server name.

It’s not cheating. It’s a valid strategy to focus your forces on a stronger opponent. As far as I’m concerned, ET is not a huge threat, which is why we’re fighting Henge more often, giving them the notion that we’re “double teaming them”.

I was in HoD server for 1 day tour 2 days ago.

JQ and ET just cheated, I fought in JQ map for 4 hrs, ET controlekittenep 2 towers(1 in front of HOD WP), JQ controll all the rest. and they both fighting HoD the same time!!!

they never even put a fight against each other! When we trying to take our tower back, ET hide in the tower, and JQ attacking us from the tunnel and vellay. they never put a fight against each other for 4 hrs!

You said you just joined Tier 1, so you don’t know how it was before, HoD did the exact same thing with SBI, SBI did the exact same thing with JQ, JQ did the exact same thing with HoD. It’s just back and forth double-teaming. And for your information, if JQ was really teaming with ET, points wouldn’t be that way. It’s like 490 JQ, 150 ET and 60 HoD right now. It’s more like JQ vs ET while HoD is a non-existent factor for the moment.

From 10am to 4pm est, JQ had queues for all of them.
From 10am to 4pm est HoD, only Eternal had a queue time.
From 10am to 4pm est ET, no queues at all.

Prototype, I think you are reading something into my post that isn’t there. I am the one who is trying to point out that these are probably the acts of a smaller group of individuals and not the servers they are representing or claiming to represent.

As I stated, having played matches against SBI, ET, and JQ before I found those servers to be upstanding.

Sorry, I may have misread, you’re right, we shouldn’t blame servers. Anyway, let’s skip that orb exploit conversation, and keep to the match-up.

Although I am saddened by the orb hacking, I would like to remind JQ that last week people from their server did the same thing to HoD. They destroyed the altar at DB and it wasn’t repairable. We eventually got the orb back and moved it to Garrison.
Then they destroyed the altar at Garrison which wasn’t repairable… so our only choice was the let the orb reset up north to JQs altar. (SBI owned the eastern Keep.)

Also last week we had a person on our team causing chaos whose name was Jade Quarry Spy (lol). And another person abusing resources and trying to cause a problem the entire time. Someone in chat asked if the person was from SBI or JQ and the person responded “ET actually” and we weren’t even matched with them at the time.

My guess is these are all acts of a small group of individuals trying to cause server drama and they might not have vested interests in any side. Basically I think they are trolling all 3 teams or they are recent transfers from less upstanding servers.

Having played matches in the past against SBI, JQ and ET I can say that the shenanigans just weren’t there before. So I believe that those servers as a whole are pretty upstanding, they have just inherited some dishonorable players.

It’s hard to believe you. If JQ really exploited an orb, we would have seen it on the HoD SBI JQ thread, and somebody would’ve started a thread on the forums. For the “Jade Quarry Spy” I hope you realize that if it was really a Jade Quarry spy, he wouldn’t take that name… obviously. I don’t say that ET are exploiters, but someone from ET is. & exactly like CarelessKrow said, there is exploiters and dishonorables players every side, since the beginning I’m saying that we can’t blame ET.

@Natural : You don’t have to be so arrogant, it’s normal that some people call out an entire server for something an individual did. It’s always been like that. We worked hard for those three orbs, and I’m sure you know it would be frustrating to lose them that way. I know this isn’t the work of the whole server.

you wont see the guilds who transferred now, they are the ones filling you up during the day during the week, you guys were just as empty as SBI was during the off times, but if those guilds came in and filled that gap you’ll win. That is how it goes. Its a total numbers game dont fool yourselves that you are getting better, there is only so much improvement you can make in a game that is set up like this one. It all comes down to the ability to throw as many bodies out there 24/7 that you can, if you cant it doesnt matter how good you are you wont compete in the long run. But if you can then you can be competitive.

1. All the top servers are quite numbered even during off-hours. Your numbers argument is kinda invalid. It might be true for tier 2 matchups, but definitely not tier 1 servers. We’ve been actively getting of our community into lower timeslots and I’m pretty sure the other servers are doing the same.
2. Why would Titan Alliance guilds transfer to Jade Quarry of all servers? Last I checked, we’re pretty full. And I highly doubt they’d get full guilds in even in off-hours.
3. Numbers =/= win. Organized groups win. Communication wins. Not random masses of numbers. Our server constantly has a consistent number of people on teamspeak.

Go fight for your server and stop hanging out on the forums misspelling “JQ” as “JQQ”. Not only are you being disrespectful, it makes you and your server look bad. This isn’t the place to whine and complain about your opponents.

LOL SBI cant field 40 people during the day, and up until last week JQQ had less people than we did in there. So if you now suddenly have a lot of people where did they come from?

I have seen you guys in every match up we had and your numbers were pathetic, just like ours were during the day time during the week. So dont try and sell the ’we are banding together nonsense. Unless half your server quit their jobs and decided to play GW for a living you had people transfer in if youre filling the map during the week and the say time.

This past week SBI didnt have hardly anyone in there during the day, even worse than in weeks past, due to some guilds leaving but mostly due to us not bothering anymore. The core SBI guilds will stay and hope changes take place but we wont be competitive because of the way the system is.

But if we got 200 Euro players to transfer in and play during the weekdays days we would suddenly be ‘the best’. Thats just how it works. Its all about numbers during off peak hours, if you ave them youre set if you dont you dont have a chance.

Uhhhh… Don’t say you know our numbers if you’re not even on our server. Our day force has always been great, we were almost always #1 PPT during the day. It’s just during the night that our numbers drop a bit.

If JQQ in fact got all those transfers theyll probably win this week. ET will be lucky to hit triple digits.

But JQ doing well and even winning will basically prove that ‘skill’ doesnt mater, JQQ didnt magically get better they simply got a bunch of people to play during the times they had empty maps before. But JQQ gain is another servers loss to be sure.

That doesnt make it ‘right’ but what can you do in a flawed system?

I can tell you that the guilds I see on JQ are the same that were here two and three weeks ago, and the queues are the same. So I think those transfers are not even true, maybe a guild or two transferred over to JQ, but I don’t see any difference.

I think that we are winning (I said winning, as for now, and not won) and playing better because our community grew, we got to know each others, commanders are coordinating with other commanders, two or three guilds are merging into one, etc.

I know a lot of people hate us, but you can’t forget that JQ has #1 in mind since day one, and we are all working together to get it.
