So… the BLT is still broken and I can’t buy or sell anything.

I have written here a couple of times. I have also sent some tickets in game.

Like alot of people here, my TP is broken. The buy button is greyed out and that means I cannot buy anything.

When trying to sell something, the game never founds my items.

This is making me loose ALOT of money AND not being able to gear myself with what I want. It has been like that since I bought the game in october. Any chance of getting something fix soon?

I’ve try stopping my anti-virus, being an admin (which I was already…), etc. Nothing works for more than 1 hour.

With all the people having the same issue, NCSOFT should be able to find out what is HAPPENING.

Any help here?

The first few chest I opened in september and october had more than 1 item. Since october, everytime I open a chest, I only have 1 item (normally junk that I dont care much).

Let’s see if I get more stuff when they “fix” it.

The TP is still broken for me. I can’t buy anything, nor preview the items from the TP.

It worked a total of 1 week since I’ve gotten the game in september. It’s a pain in the @**.

Man, that part of the quest was, for me, the best and the worse in a MMO game.

I love Tybalt, in fact, I would only do Order of Whispers with all my characters just for playing with Tybalt again. (But I wont, I’ll do the other 2 orders to see how it is).

I was really surprise when I heard Tybalt saying he was going ALONE and to let him go. That was a hard moment in the game, not being able to help a friend out.

Poor Tybalt. I had alot of fun killing stuff with you. May you rest in peace.

I hope that from where you are, you have alot of “big apples” with you!

PS: Bring him back in any form. Would be really interesting to receive messages from Tybalt’s ghost or something…

Male Sylvari.

I’ve always played Male elf for my thief/bard/rogue. Just fits with what I used to play on D&D pen and paper!

I still can not sell anything on the TP.

Nor can I see buy anything (the button is greyed out).

It’s been like that since over a week now. In fact, it’s been like that since the only time I was able to sell something via the TP. Bags and bank still full waiting to be able to sell my stuff.

A-net.. are you even looking into this. Seems like there is ALOT of people with the same problems.

My guardian is a sylvari.

Mainly, because I created it for my girlfriend. She decided of everything for this character. So, I’m playing a blue female sylavie with a flash pink glow.

Still having the same problem… I can not sell on the TP.

Which is kinda stupid. All my bags are full (on all 5 characters), bank is full too. I’m just waiting for this stupid “patch”, so I can sell the stuff on the TP and not loose a ton of cash.

Since I started playing AD&D at the age of 13 years old, I’ve always played something close to a thief/rogue.

On my first MMO (EverQuest), I played a bard, jack of all trades, master of none. I’ve always like the way thief/bard/rogue plays.

Being able to stealth, attack someone, stun them, put bleed on them. That’s the kind of combat I like…well for a melee character.

I like the thief class, it’s fun, but I think something is missing. It’s alot of fun, but I’m quite tired of doing the same skill over and over and over since the beginning of the game. I dont play Pistols (dont like the style nor the way it felt), shortbow is good while in group, did not find any good sword (I always find daggers with better stats, dont ask me why)… so I’ve been using D/D since the beginning. We dont have enough skills to use… I mean, thiefs/bards"rogues have always been the classes with the most skills on the skill bars, making you able to change a fight. Right now, I just feel like a 1 button smasher. But hey, at least I can do cool moves!

Nha, not at all.

You might not find that your character looks like a Power Rangers, but for me, the armor you use and the color theme you gave him, reminds me of a mix between the red and white PR.

Good for you if you like the look, it’s just not the kind of look I like.

I lot like me in real life. I’ve always loved snowy moutains and everything that goes with cold. In 2-3 months, it’s going to be freezing where I live and it’s going to be awesome to be on top of a snowy moutain looking at a frozen lake.

I’m a hairy, bearded and tattooed guy. So…. I guess Norns to fit with me.

But, to be honest, I really did not like the look of Norns male at the beginning. I did not like the way they looked, too big, too cartoonish.

But I made the “slim” Norn male, with a great beard, cool tattoos (the one with 2 hands tattoo on the torso) and now… I love him.

Ohhhh… and there is some Native American influence in them too. And…. I’m a history teacher. My favorite subject? Native American cultures. Living in the province of Quebec, having some native blood in me, it was normal for me to love the history behind Norns.

I can’t sell anything on the TP. I can buy, but I can’t see the stats of what I’m buying.

Seems like I’m not the only one…

Well to be perfectly honest, I’m not sure if anyone was taking this topic seriously. At least I wasn’t.

Everquest had that in pvp (1999-2000). If you died while doing PVP, the one that killed you could pickittenem from you, even gear.

Which is quite normal. I mean, I kill a Big Cat with a big sword in hands, I’ll probably pick something out of him.

I mean, come on, I’m a THIEF. I steal stuff. I take stuff for me, my treasure.

(And yeah, people would get pissed. Dying in pvp should be something that you hate. That way, people would do less glass canon and play with their heads, not with big numbers on the screen).

Hero panel (Press H). You will see on the top corner of the gear (helm, back and shoulders) a box that you can click. BOOM, gear is gone. Re-click it, BOOM ITS BACK!

Samething happened to me last week… but for T1. I bought the helm instead of the coat while I was pressing on preview for the helm.

Lost all the money I had save for the darn coat.

I posted the samething this morning. Bought the tier 1 cultural helm instead of the coat. :S

I havent reskinned it, nothing.

The helm was bought for 40 silver. I did not quit the seller and when I went to sell it back, it would only give me 5 silver for it. :S

Ok, so I’ll start with my story.

Yesterday, my little sylvari thief got his lvl 35. I map to the Groove to get my new awesome leaf coat (I’m really tired of the coats I have since lvl 10…)

I preview the coat, just to be sure I really want to spend 80 silver on it. While clicking preview, the game froze, just for a second. My cursor had moved to the HELM and the double click bought me the helm and not the coat.

I was not able to get the 40 silver back. That’s why I think it would be a good idea to have a “sell back” button, so we could sell back the items we just bought.

How it would work? Easy. You are at the merchant, looking to an item. You buy it, but realise, without LEAVING the merchant, that you dont want it anymore. You can sell it back for the SAME price that you bought it.

It would not work if, with the same example, you left the merchant and then spoke with him again. At this point, you would have a money lost on selling the item back.

Would not break any game mechanics it would only help people would misclicked on something while looking at a merchant.

Seems like you have found more than me. I loved the coat at first, but I’m now tired of seeing it.

And seeing the same color since starting wearing it. I havent found any good looking dyes so far. Seems like I’m lucky with the pinks one or the light green/blue, which doesnt fit with my character. :S

Anyway, I guess than in 8 silver, everything will be better! :p

ARGH.

So, yesterday, I lvled up to 35 so I would be able to buy the medium sylvari coat.

The game froze, just a second… and it bought the HELM instead of the COAT.

And now.. I need 8 more silver to go so I can buy that coat! DOH!

Ok, so, I’ve been playing for a couple weeks now.

Since the beginning, I’ve only been able to find 2 types of chest piece. The one you get at the beginning of the game… and the coat. I’ve been wearing the same kind of coat since lvl 10 and I’m now lvl 33. Is it me or there is some creativity missing in the chest piece?

I mean, the look was cool at first, but I’m starting to ask myself if I’ll ever find something else.

Tell me, will I be able to see something else soon?
Do you find that there is some creativity missing for the look of armor at low lvl? I can’t speak for heavy or cloth wearer, but for us, medium armor… it’s kinda boring after wearing the samething for over 20 lvls, dont you think?

Nisteria: … Too.. manly? I mean, they look like mid to end teenagers. If that is too manly, than you are talking about playing a character close to the one of Kingdom Heart?

It’s ok with me if you want that. In fact, we should be able to play the type of character we want! Young or old, skinny or fat, beautifull or not.

I mean, that’s how life is. People are different and we want to play different characters.

Let me play my mid-50’s characters and I’ll let you play your mid-teens! :P

And this is coming from a straight male 28 years old boxer. :P

I’m not asking for overly muscular man. I’m only asking to be able to make an “older” man. Something that doesnt look like the teenagers I work with, but more like the men I see in the streets. Regulare looking guy of all ages.

Same goes to the females…or even the norn. Even if you take the oldest looking face, it is still too “Ken” like, to pretty to be close to a real guy would look like. I mean… we are fighters, we are people who dedicated their life to fighting. We should be able to look a bit older than mid-teens with muscles (or early 20’s.)

I’m a 28 years old guy, I look about 15 years older than the caracters we can create. That’s not normal. Nothing comes close to what a real 30-40-50 years old would look.
