Uh..is everyone here forgetting that champ is friendly to OP? So this champ aoe pulse cc’s like every 12 seconds, and he hurts.

So there is 5 of them plus a CC spamming champ (I see the friendly on their map trailing just a bit behind), and there’s only 7 at the start? (Sorry some one downed at the start of an engage doesn’t count).

I’m all about a good skirmish but this is kind of cheap.

For some reason they believe that people don’t pvp because they have no progression.

This is NOT the case. Anyone I’ve asked about why they don’t pvp is because they don’t like conquest only maps, or they just don’t enjoy pvp. Adding progression of anything more than cosmetics will cause you to lose the few who have stuck through pvp.

The vast majority of your main pvpers don’t even have 80s. They like being able to delete and remake characters on a whim. Event account wide unlocks are stupid because new accounts still come at a disadvantage.

Stick to what you promised and leave the grinds and unlocks in finishers, and skins. Everyone should have access to ALL stats in pvp from day 1. Grinding out a stat someone may need puts them at a disadvantage and will only discourage new pvpers from entering the scene.

Adding gold was a good start, add incentives, not a grind.

Having fun playing dive commander afrochoo at our spawn in SoR BL

Hey that’s one of my favorite pass times too! The best part is when he realizes running is futile and tries to pew pew you for a second or two before going down.

Hopefully Choo’s spawn camping is going a little better than HL’s in EBG. Our five man guild is routinely destroying them. Stick to the zerg, guys. It suits you better.

We sat at your spawn for literally 2 hours, building ballistas, AC’s and generally just embarrassing whatever you threw our way (that is until you brought 2x our numbers of course).

And the only time we had a bit of trouble on even numbers was when 4 or so D/D eles were sent at us (GC mesmer/thieves).

That would be my guild. And I wouldn’t call it “a bit of trouble”, but maybe it’s just a matter of perspective.

You showed up towards the last 10 minutes of our 2 hour trip to your spawn? That of course gives you perspective on the previous 1 hour 50 minutes where your servermates were running into our traps/5 man portal bombs (LOL) left and right.

Keep up the good work killing a couple of glass cannon mesmers bro, legendary players right here.

We showed up on a few different intervals when pugs complained about being spawn camped. So I guess grats on picking off random pugs that would stream through.

It definitely wasn’t just the last 10 minutes, and it was certainly about 10 of you when we were there. But those ‘4 d/d eles’ were 2 d/d eles and a GC s/d ele.

Had a member in our group accidentally hit the ‘exit dungeon’ icon that prompts us back to the lab after completing the 3rd segment on level 30. We obviously wanted to move on to Jade Maw, not to the lab. Is there some way to get the prompt back to carry us to Jade Maw or do you just have to start over at that point?

Even if you got a large group you would still get massacred due to the design of the puzzles, the campers could just open fire from above and massacre the group with ease

maybe if that large group was bad at pvp, they would get massacred. otherwise its very possible to kill campers, even outnumbered.

This exactly. So many people complain about JP camping and me and my guildies run into these all the time. I can’t tell you how many times 4 of us have killed a group of 10 scrubs camping the top of the well, or the top of the arena because we can pvp decently. JP camping has never been an issue for us because we almost never have a problem fighting our way through to the chest.

TC – from MDS and IDes..the 5 of us had fun tangoing with your zergs in Godsword all night.

Having a very Alamo stand off in that hut was the highlight of it all.

All 3 servers do it. Too many times I’ve loaded into the portal to see like 8 LAG folks from SoR camping starting area or top of the JP (and obviously we and IoJ aren’t innocent either). And it’s very satisfying to dethrone the other server

It’s a fun way to have some small scale PVP, or some good 1v1’s if you’re lucky
