I do not like to solo que in a team based gamemode.
So i’m looking for a pvp guild where i can find party members or a team to play pvp with.
My main class is thief also have necro and warrior.
My rank is 53 but going up pretty fast .

oke new weapons, i dont really need one i still like my d/d s/d and s/p setups.
But if they give us more weapons,
then i want a staff as melee that will fit thiefs
No kittened greatsword…
Just a staff would be nice, melee and not mutch stealth use.
And if they add new weapon types, eeh then i want eeh katana’s 2 handed but not so overpowerd big as greatswords..

After 2 years still working on 100% map n.n

BAM, my “samurai” armor look is done so happy, now i only need that katana skin..

My warrior with his samurai look only diffrent gloves and schoulders but i like those,
i hope they add a katana soon the 2 handed one.
But i’m going to make twilight anyway..

But is it possible to team up with onlt nl/be people? Its easy’er for me to speak dutch on ts then english :s maybe u can see it but my english isnt that great

I getting sick of all those pugs and pve players that screw up games..
So i’m looking for a guild or groups of tpvp players from NL or BE or just a dutch group to play with
I mainly play thief. also have a warrior.

I’m not a “pro” player but i think i’m pretty good at it

So if u know same groups mp me

u know why they dont have condis, cause they know how to play without them. Condi’s=easymode

well thats wat i mean, conditions are to OP.
And a second thing i really hate in pvp are those stupid pve players that play tpvp/soloQ..
They dont even know what to do and screw it up for everyone that wants to play a good..

yea and do u know any profession that can clean conditions evey 2 sec? dont think so..

Yea i freaking hate conditions they just make this game so lame to play..
I only to pve and most of the time pvp.
After the “balance” patch, i only see stupid condition builds..
Necro’s engi’s thiefs rangers warriors…
But necro and engi are the worst, whats wrong with those things?

I cant even stand next to a necro for 1 sec or i have 25 stacks of every possible condition..

Its not even fun to play…

But i really want sword/warhorn and longbow for my warrior

well no i dont want that, but i want something more. that u can salvage rings etc

Did like 40 daily runs now, lvl 11-21-31
from those 40 runs i got like 35 freaking rings.
RINGS! wtf, 35 rings out of 40 runs. Isnt RNG so freaking lame or is the drop rate of other stuff to low?

a dagger doesnt fit a warrior he?
thats just something that really fits it.
sword/dagger and dagger for dmg stabbing etc
a warrior need a backup weapon for when he’s lost his sword in a fight so a dagger would be nice in off hand with some good dmg skills (with a fair couldown)

EDIT: but wat i really want is a true longsword.
the size of infinite light but wielded with 2 hands

yea i know infinite light, just a shame that i need to use it with a shield or a warhorn..
Longsworss are use most of the time in 2 hands..
but i think inf light fits the most

I am quite positive that the dream sword of your in GW2 is a slim greatsword.

Most 1h sword in GW2 either look knife shape or evil, i can’t find any 1h sword looks as good as this templar sword imo. The only 1h sword looks good to me is infinity light… forget it already =P

well it was verry educating, thanks for all the messaging etc. I think i’m going to buy some books about the medival weapons to learn more.

And i think i’m going to stick to a greatsword in gw2, think it fits the most now

It’s a really interesting subject, same as archery. I’m quite an accomplished archer myself.

And trust me, nothing beats the feeling of charging at enemy lines sword in hand!
There are no HEMA clubs in Poland as far as I know (but I as I said, I’m more into early medieval times, armour is not my style), but we have quite a developed reenactment scene.

yea it is thats why i like to play games like guild wars to. the swords and bows etc.

off topic again, and later this year or next year i’m going to buy ma a mongolian recurve bow and/or a traditional longbow. Now i use a competition bow

yea the second name of it is that also 2and a half sword i think.
in my eye’s its a mix of a greatsword and a 1handed sword.

I will say greatsword feel more like long sword. Skin-wise, sword is more like long sword but, in real, a long sword is more likely to be used more effectively with both hand. I prefer using a long sword with both hand to increase the speed and power so i will go for greatsword with a more compact design (human Tier 2 GS is a very good choice)

after the patcht they all become account bound, so maybe u can sell them before u use them. So if u own 2 incinerators u can sell 1. But idk why cause u will only have 1 skin with the stat selection so yea dont think its a waste

btw, is it 100% shure that ascended trinkets will be account bound to? rings amu’s etc.?
