For example , lets say you wanna make “the lover” and dusk

there are 26 shortbows you can get 3,85% chance to get it ( counted today by coincidence)
Lets say there are 26 Greatswords as wel
But the question is, Does dusk AND dawn count as individual swords of the 26 lot making the chance 7,69% instead of 3,85%
Or does Dusk/Dawn share the same “count” of 3,85%
Once you win that lotterly it goes into another lottery of 50% dusk or 50% dawn

This might be a “big” issue couse if it is, you might have a double chance to get a greatsword precursor then any other

The first person who gets to find this staff might be able to tell it arround a legendary price =p

As far as I know there are no capes in the game. The only backitems you can see are the guildbag/Fractals backitem / arrow quiver / toybag from wintersday

But I can tell you that nobody will buy those to you for 20s, if that’s what you hope for later. Soon they won’t probably even be needed for legendaries -> Scavenger hunt. And then poof… 1s per scale.

You do realise when there are more precursors arround, the prices of the other legendary materials will go up ? …

Mostly from jumping puzzles like others have said. I found a nice guildie mesmer who sometimes helps – I pay him 5 gold each time through the big one. I take all my toons through each time if possible (sometimes it gets too overwhelmed with other server players). 5 gold is totally worth it to me!

Maybe you can find a nice mesmer in your guild…?

No…no it does not at all. Badges do not even mean you have pvp’d since then are mainly farmed via the jp’s. A person can load gw2 and within 1 minute have a legendary if that doesn’t discount the “participation factor” idk what else would.

They are NOT mainly farmed by Jp’s .. Only PVE’ers claim this. They ARE easy to get by just playing WvW. You only need to know how to “damage” your enemy.
brotip: Try using an arrowcart when enemy is attacking your tower/keep

Not really, I have no luck with mystic forge or drop luck anywhere. I already wasted at least 750g on getting dawn or dusk or colossus out of the mystic forge.

You could just of had bought them off the Tp for that amount of money …

I noticed that the people who are happy about current situation are either of those:
1) Bought precursor in september
2) Buying gold from gold-sellers
3) Buying a ton of gems
4) Made a fortune in september/october, when the prices were low
5) Don’t care about legendary at all
6) Doing/done the legendary, which requires a cheap precursor

Sorry but you are so wrong.. i’m not one of the above and i’m stil happy with the current system. I AM farming to get my equipment, i’m doing the daily’s on all my dungeons to get gold/xp/karma. i’m ASKING for help from guilding with some things.
It’s MENT to be hard. We are “only” 3-4 months into the game and I can’t walk in LA without seeing 6-7 twilights and sunrises. They are already way too common. IMO they should even be harder to obtain.

People would buy though orders and sell on /map chat to avoid the TP fee and the least that others and I want is even MORE spam like in any other MMO

1-2 weeks back I took an arrow gun and all of a sudden I had a HUGE camera range without downloading anything or changing anything in options.
Thought it was a buff Anet implanted. But when I relogged and tried again it was gone.

GW2 is really lacking some excitement. I have been trying to watch steams, but its just way too boring to watch for me. That might be reason for low viewership, or maybe its just me. Im still playing game and enjoying it, but watching is just impossible. I would love to hear more opinions about this one

I’ve actualy found a streamer which was quite enjoyable to watch, Thought his name was LoLjumper or something. Explains quite some things etc

All GW2 needs to be an E-sport is a ladder system and matchmaking ( which they are working on tbh) .
The amount of players atm doesn’t matter, If GW2 is accepted by MLG or ESL they will have streamers = meta game and viewers = more players ( Just check league of legends ).
At this point the only thing we can do is wait and let Anet make the first move

Thanks BT for the awsome fights at Desolation borderlands now. You guys were outnumbered 2 to 1 and stil managed to defend Bay ( kitten that mortar spam build and sneaky backstabbing catapult ) !
