what is the basic ranger shot rotation for the longbow? I am only level 11 but i like to pop into PvP to try and find the rotations, I know I just get blown up but i still would like to know what the rotation should be? Please help. Please be specific, everyone just keeps saying do what feel right. but i know there has to be a rotation that triggers boons and conditions.

Necro it is then. Now I just have to figure out how to stay alive in light armor. I am sure there is some weapon combo that gives healing when i do damage, hence the necro, or at least that’s how the necro worked in everquest.

Thank you, so necro or guardian, for me as a new player, but with 15 years of MMOs. Guardian or Necro? i don’t want to easy of a class and I normally stick to one class until its MIN/MAX. or another class? i have been making them and and going to level 12 then going to the next and the next. I still have no clue. So any recommendations would really help me out. I like support, with some survivability when someone does get into the back line and comes after me.

I like like to skirt the fights, and do support. I don’t understand Boons and conditions? Are they like slows and cripples/ buffs for allies? And how the heck do i trigger them when i want to trigger one?

How are necros in PvP, are they hard to play, can they do a lot of damage or be a good healer?

What is their greatest strength in PvP?

Are you committed to the points you spend while leveling or can you change later?

Can someone help me understand what everyone is saying, Whats a reaper, is that a build? I just started the game and rolled a necro, i have no idea what weapons to use so i am on here trying to find info, problem is I have no clue what everyone is talking about 110% of the time. Could someone help me out please?

Ok thank you Yubria, The first paragraph is super helpful, the second lost me a little. What exactly are boons and conditions, how do i actually tell if i am in a rotation that will fear or proc from the last cast or action? I am sorry for all the questions, I am just really lost.

I have a couple questions.

First i know that gear and weapons do not mean crap at first, but what is a good main hand and off hand weapon/weapons to get used to in the form of rotations?

Is the Guardian wanted in groups and dungeons?

Is the Guardian viable in PVP? i went in at level 10 and got insta blown up every time. Is that just because of my level and i suck?

Is the necro easy to play in PvP or will i get dropped like a got hit by Rhonda Rousy?

Dawdler, I understand that, But i would like a combination that I might use later on to get the rotation down. Like scepter/horn and axe/??? I read that is OK, but i have no idea what the rotation is, that’s my next forum question
