Completed it, just need to find a competent pug. People just need a little practice at it and they’ll get the hang of it.

If you need to get the achievement, there is no point in continuing if a dolyak is dead. I’ve completed it all the way 3 times, and failed. I don’t want to spend an hour each time especially when 1 dolyak goes down, there is no point in staying.

5000 boxes? That’s hard to believe. You been in the Snowball Mayhem instance non stop since the start of Wintersday?

My favorite is the ventari. Love the staff twirl.

Great job on the map, but extremely hard to get achiements.

Criticism: People drop the present so you can’t get an achievment. Give somebody a chance to show what scumbags they are, and they willingly deliver.

Still at 3/5 for both after hours of play.

I think a lot of people who dip their toes into wvwvw are traited for pve and geared for the same. It is no surprise then when people with gear and trait builds optimized for pvp roflstomp over crowds of people. It’s quite easy then to make a video and look indestructable. Especially since a lot of people use glass cannon builds.

Well it looks like Eng concerns will be dealt with. Hope soon comes quick!

The jp was very hard for me but finally got it. I don’t know what it is about them, but i can’t stop playing it, even with all the nerd rage! Good job AN as far as i’m concerned.

So you like being a gimped class so you get more bragging rights when you actually manage to kill something? That’s one way of looking at things i suppose.

No they look at the logs and see so many engineers on and go “Hey, look at all the engineers on, they must love the change, we’ll keep as is!”.

You did a great job on the Wintersday event. Loving it all. Thanks for the blast.

Spam autoattack, pbaoe, move diagonally around keeping your back difficult to face, keep turning do they can’t focus on your back. Etc.

I’ve watched a number of videos with many classes playing their classes well and roflstomping over thieves. I really think most people really suck at pvp and would rather blame game mechanics over their own incompetance.

No i don’t think i’m a great pvper either. I suck at it and realize that when i die it’s because i suck and not come up with lame excuses.

I’m having an issue with the T1 boots and back slot items. Basically, it rotates my backpack 90 degrees on two axis so that it winds up “face down” and sideways.
I don’t mind much with my backpack because (some clipping issues aside) it just looks like a different type of backpack.

If I equip my shield however…

I reported this a while back as well. It makes me not want to play my Asura because it drives me nuts looking at it.

I have 5 classes that are 80 now. Thief/Necro/Mesmer/Eng/Guardian. Primarily pve, with some wvw with the thief and eng.

My advice is stick with the Mesmer. I just finished leveling my Mesmer today (last char to 80) and found i can steamroller through practically anything in PVE (Orr). I use staff/GS and feel i am equal to any of my other classes.

I think the T1 set is the best, the others look freakish.

He isn’t appearing on Darkhaven.

Bugged on Darkhaven.

Stuck at this point, he died or something on DarkHaven and everyone is standing around hoping he’ll appear.

Also got the magic scroll from the quaggin who is also in Caledon, but unable to give it to head researcher levvi.

Not too impressed with the event so far.

Subdirecter Noll is dead on DarkHaven. We’re all standing around waiting for him to reappear. Such wonderful times.

Dagger + warhorn. I’ve been using a build by takarazuka on the GW2guru forums and it’s pretty solid. The thread title is Necro Power Build – Dagger/Focus and Wells (he changed to warhorn however). Of course you need to get up close and personal, but i haven’t had a problem with it. Rarely do i end up in a downed position, and when i do, it’s really easy to kill trash to get back up again.

I had a blast i must admit. I’m amazed at all the effort they put into this event.

Sure, when we all got kicked i was fighting the mad king and had him down to 25%, had a little rage going on. But once we logged back in and realized we could fight him more than once i cooled off. But it was a pretty fun event.

The Clock tower was a real hair puller. I’m pretty sure i was foaming at the mouth with this one, until i finally had the route memorized and was able to complete it in around 15 to try 20 tries after that. I won’t mention how many hours it took the first time, uhg.

The other events were just pure candy fun. I’d have to say this was the best halloween event i took part in in any MMO i’ve played so far. A lot of detail and effort went into it and Anet should get a pat on the back for it.

So i got a nice backpack and a pair of slippers as well out of the deal. Wasn’t lucky enough so far for any other gear or skin, but i am content.

now fixed, try going to another character.

I tried 4 groups so far and when entering the instance i do not see my party members, and the instance is stuck with MK still standing over on his floating island. I’ve tried relogging, entering/exiting the instance. This is really frustrating.

On my Asura i’ve noticed the backpack orientations are bugged. Whether it’s the engineer pack, or the Halloween book, it is orientated incorrectly. I’ve asked around and someone else said they had the same problem. I’d like to know if this is a global problem with the Asura, or maybe specific to Engineers? Anyway, would be nice to see a fix for it.
