In the intro demo part, if you glide off the cliff to the camp. The NPC following you can die from fall and they can even bug out and not follow you to the next mission.
I just hope that I can flow the mob in to the sky and let it fall from the cliff as it did to me
Saying they are easy is simply not true for all classes. Mesmer’s should have no issue with them. Pop feedback on them when they do their rapid fire, and they die instantly. That in itself should tell you how OP their attack is. They can destroy Necromancers, becasue they don’t have reflects or ageis of any kind. Its easy to say “just dodge” but when you are fighting a mob, saving your dodges for one sniper is unrealistic. Especially when those guys with the hammers lay down their huge AoE attack.

This attack is perfectly avoidable by walking out even, 1 tick of it doesn’t kill you even in berserker gear.
When walk away, I aggro another mob.

Please do also keep the mob everywhere , popup anytime anywhere.
I enjoy keep hitting by them when I just looking at the map .
I enjoy when I fight with a Tendril, another Tendril pop not far away. The area full of red circle : ). Suddenly, 2 more Vent beetle popup and join the party.
When the 2 Teandril and beetle leave the party ( thank for other player join the party ).and I want to leave too, another mob do not let me go ……… : )

You are good. You have testing so much content. I just testing killed by mob endlessly
When I attack the foe using the skill SEaring Fissure, Temporal Rift, the flame/ rift not under the mob most of the time.
Am I need to face the mob directly ? It not easy to do this when the mob just run around
I agree with this 100% I love the new mobs AI so much now, I feel like you cant stand around stacking anymore, its fantastic. Some of these mobs just destroy people who are lazy.
Totally agree. When I just want to walk by side to avoid 2 smokescale, they come to attack me and at the same time I just aggro another vent smokerscale and get kill by them with 3 x shadow attack

Having a sniper spawn behind me and killing my zerk tempest in 1-hit is so ridiculous.
The only place I take zerker gear off is on Arah, WvW, and PvP. Since the snipers are a white common, I’ll have to add HoT to that list since I have to assume that snipers will eventually spawn behind me when I’m talking to npcs or something.
Its hard enough to get casuals with zerk gear on dungeons. Anet forcing cheap gear on people so they can survive HoT will make casuals with zerkers even rarer.
That actually sounds like a great development. Sounds to me like a lot of less new players who repeatedly kiss the floor in the literally first fight of the fist dungeon after reading how you can only run Berserk in such a poor, supereasy dungeons as AC is one because you would loose valuable time when running it in another, a little more stable gear and hinder your pro zerker friends by being incompetent or badly equipped.
I never use the word “zerk” on my lfgs. Getting 4 zerkers is a godsend, but usually there is only 1 other guy running with it.
More casuals running and learning with zerk is a good thing. The fact that you can get 1-hit while gliding or talking to npcs means more people will go and hide behind a wall of vit and toughness. I find the irony of you people telling us zerkers to l2p amusing.
The Beta is not hard. Everything else not named Mordrem sniper is not dangerous to me. The Veteran dinosaurs have pointless damage right now. The fact that I have to deal less damage to these mobs because of the Mordrem Sniper is pretty dumb.
You dont have to, these snipers take a long time to charge and have the most obvious tell in the game, i’m playing a rampager revenant and i’ve not been downed once by them in the last let’s say 2 hours i’m playing, and i’m melee… + Stop the kittening stories about being oneshot, it take at least 2 ticks of the line damage and these ticks are almost a second appart.
My warrior lost most of HP after hit by them. They use a skill hit u multiple time in a short period of time. So some people think that they get kill by a hit.
When u check the combat log, u will see " xxxx hit u 1xxx " multiple times
Revenant have skill to avoid range attack and able attack mob at same time but not all class can do that

Even you wear PVT set and u will get kill when adjust build or skill, check you inventory.
HoT just like SW, there are not much place for u take rest.

They seem a bit OP to me too, but if someone can tell me something I’m missing that would be great.
Dealing with them on my own is easy enough, but the biggest issue imo is that unlike other dangerous mobs (teragriffs, etc) neither they nor their attacks seem to have very much visual presence, so I don’t notice them in big events until I’m lying on the floor in three intersecting not!Fiery Rush trails. If I could tell them apart from other humanoid mordrem mobs or if their attacks had bigger tells it would feel manageable, but as it is now they seem kind of cheap.
Otherwise I’m loving the rest of the enemies in Verdant Brink.
The thing is they have very little health so it’s really easy to burst them down and their projectile is really slow.

Grab some vitality gearTry to take on a trio of snipers with PVT gear and see what happens; unless you have NPCs/other players to divide their attention, u will get downed almost instantly (unless your’e using a reflect build, that is).
My warrior have 2800 armor and lost most of my hp. Do I need PPT to have 3300 armor ?
I think I am inside FOTM level 20 + in the past / the lunch of the FOTM

Just dodge. Problem solved. Really obvious attack animation and a red mark on your head. Just dodge at right time and they are really not a problem.
My warrior cannot dodge as she just run out of endurance (Anet just nerf endurance regeneration), and lost 80% of HP (she has about 2.8x K to Armor) by 2 of this guys.
Yes, I can block the attack but my block skill have long CD and they have short CD skill.
In addition, this guys seem can dodge attack as well : )

Just one brief comment OP on your comments. You talked about how little damage rifles did to husks. Husks are far more sensitive to condition damage than direct damage. Always try using conditions on husks. It’ll go much faster.

You are good. But I just keep falling from the cliff when I need jump to get a master point.
If there is no portal from mesmer, I know that i may never get there as I am good at falling but not jumping

So what i would want is to have those mobs placed over the map and added to events, but i do not wish to see them and fight them every 10 meter. It just is to much mobs everywere and having to nonstop fight for your life just to move to a location is just to exhausting. Not to mention there was very few spots were i could get out of combat to wp due to so many mobs.
So don’t nerf them, but please make a bit less of them in areas were we are just transporting so it does not take me 10 min to move 5 meter because i have to fight 5 vets, 1 champ and 10 normal mobs.
Yeah .. nothing against some of those mobs now and then, but if you see them
everywhere and are not even able to get to the next waypoint since you died
once and then have to run the way again and of course all the mobs are
respawned .. that could get old very fast.And do we really have to see 80% of the mobs are vets ?
All those tips sound nice, but its an open world area where mobs respawn, often
still directly after they were killed, and there often is not much place to kite
because then you would run into the next mob that was just respawned
behind you. And also not all classes have much stuns, espically not as much
as those mushroom vet that can knock you down every 5 seconds or whatever.I said it already in another thread .. that zone could become another Southsun Cove
very fast .. and beeing a map that is hard to navigate / explore doesn’t make it
better.

Yes, I can dodge roll , although Anet just nref the endurance regeneration recently
I heard someone remind me that do not roll and kite into another group of mobs .
I also heard another one say u also need to take care condition like Crippled as u may keep Crippled until dead by a group of mob if u not kill them.
I just noted that my skill bar do not have enough slot and need to switch skill , build every a few mins , every ten meter, every type of mob.

As a whole I’d agree with the OP. I think most of my problems have stemmed from 3 areas: a build ill-equipped for the mob, inexperience with the specialization or bugs. The first two will be fixed with my time and the third is an omnipresent evil in MMOs.
The main thing I’d ask for at this point is for a few areas with just one hunter or smokescale or pocket raptor group so people could actually get a chance to solo it and learn the mechanics. Can I learn it in groups? Yes, it just takes longer. Can I do it against more than one mob? Absolutely, it just takes longer.
I’ll learn it either way, but having an area to solo a creature would be a nice QoL feature to me.
The real problem is not easy to know the mechanics.
1. When u attach a mob, the screen show “0” damage but not do not tell you why.
Do u know which foe I talking about ? Do u know how I attack the mob and what skill I am using ?
2. The screen show a big word “Immune” when u attack a mob but u do not know has been “Immured” .
3. I know that there are words under the mod name show the mob ability .
Howeven it not easy to tell u every thing.

Yah. Small area. They didn’t want people having access to the whole map during the betas. They want it to be fresh and new when the expansion arrives.
Yes, the area is small and full of mods. If you use moving skill may fall (even is you walk and not pay attention u may fall
The war master at final boss always die because of the AOE lock down, he cannot response fast enough to the boss skill and die as he use a hammer. Can a Anet give him a sword instead?

1. Fotm need overflow for player from different server
2. U may be suppressed because you LFM too much
3. U need switch between GW2LFG.com and GW2 ( for send invitation )
4. U need to press F5 to refresh gw2lfg.com until u job is done
5. Fotm need special requirement ( u need to have gold and luck to upgrade items ) to go for higher level
6. Some player got frustrated and left with the group after waiting 30mins

However, from the example fractal leveling, I have a quest on daily reward if play 2 is level 22 and set the fractal to level 22.
After the fractal run, can play 1 get daily reward for level up from 2 to 3?

How there are no acceptable UI for grouping for 3 months after GW2 lunch.

The last mission of fractal daily check foe, when u fall and rez there at least one foe waiting u and u die because u in down state.

My warrior do not need superior rune of monk but my guardian do.
My warrior do not need superior rune of Sanctuary but my low level elementalist need this later.
The system seem to want player die equally with agony but the design is fail not to consider professions.
The agony punishes all player who high HP and low HP regenerate skill player. e.g. warrior with healing signet. Yes u may say your can change your build. But the other healing skill for warrior either not highest in HP return or HP return depend on adrenaline.

In addition, if you got disconnected, u cannot back into the instance.
I take an hour to complete 3 missions and got disconnected. My daily award and level up chance are gone. Also my team member need to play harder.
And this happen not once only.
Other dungeon can get back to the instance, why FotM cannot?.
More over, some mission have design issue.
For example, Cliffside Fractal when going up to the top, some of item block the screen and need to run step by step, but the forward step can become roll and fall as the forward key can become roll .
Also the last past, the road with bomb , most platform is safe to stand, but only the finally one cannot or u blow out and fall .

Not only overflow problem. In addition, we may need to wait an hour find a team with matched level . I have LFG on the chart channel and suppressed after some meassaging. The leveling just keep us waiting more.
