But I agree with some others that the best fix for me would be to remove the horn.
In my opinion it looks better without it.

That seems like it’s the best setup, at least I can’t think of a different one.
Personally I’ll probably still use full Zerk armor+Assassins Trinkets, since I share my scholar set with my revenant, but for pure warrior mains I don’t see a reason not to go with Assassins Chest+Legs.

What it shows:

With a druid in your party you should run:
Assassins Armor
+Bowl of Sweet and Spicy Butternut Squash Soup
+Bountiful Sharpening Stone
(Column 3, EP: 23027)

Without a druid in your party you run:
Assassins Armor and Assassins Earrings or Weapon
+Truffle Steak
+Bountiful Sharpening Stone
(Column 4, EP: 22178)

Column 1&2 show, that Full Zerk+Assassins Earrings is still almost the same as using Assassins Armor. If you’re not affected by spotter using Bountiful Maintenance Oil instead of Sharpening Stone will make the difference between Zerk and Assassins almost negligible.
Column 5 is your suggestion for running without spotter, which is worse than my suggestion in Column 4.

Conclusion: Switch to Assassins Armor to be optimal, keep using Zerk if you don’t care about being <1% worse. With Zerk you also only have to carry Bountiful Maintenance Oil instead of Sweet and Spicy Butternut Squash Soup and a 2nd set of earrings/2nd GS.

+1, would like to see FH baseline and banner recharge too (or at least added to inspiring battle standards)

I like axe mastery. Having the 20% reduced CD is pretty much awesome. But thats just me. Personally I like the CD reduction over the 20% increase in burst damage.
But to each their own I suppose.

It’s not 20% burst damage increase, it is 20% overall damage increase for 10 seconds after hitting with a burst skill (except Longbow, because it’s bugged). It is extremely strong if you can keep it up, which shouldn’t be too hard with Furious (Arms) or Burst Mastery (Discipline).

I’m sure they will appreciate your help, but it might be 2 years and a few changes too late. Good job on digging out this thread!

The scrolls were converted to spirit shards in a 1:1 ratio, you can find them in your wallet. The bag of spirits shards might be your reward for the daily completionist.

I have experienced that bug a few times now, mostly random people being in our instance without being in our group. Usually the 5th person can’t join the dungeon because of a “World is full” error if that happens.
I myself was in an instance of a complete random group I wasn’t a member of in CoF p1 once, but that was already more than a year ago.
I never thought you could bug an instance out like that intentionally, but I hope if so it gets fixed, especially since you can’t do anything about it.

I always give the money back if for any reason they won’t be able to stay for the reward or DC. If I lower the price for some reason, I always give them the money they paid “too much”.

At least you had something to read and if interested I can give you his name so you will never have to experience this at first hand. (EU)

Well, we still had to wait for some more buyers and I was curious about his reasoning for reporting us, so it was an interesting and somewhat amusing way to make use of the time.

Selling arah and then this happens…how can people be this dumb and uninformed. After running out of accusations he then went offline. In other mmos I’d think this is a troll, but here you never know. I mean, at least he didn’t try to kick us, which would not have been possible anyways.

I think lupicus kicks have a wider hit range too.

In my runs it felt like something was weird with lupi’s kicks, good that I’m not the only one who experienced that. The increase isn’t as big and noticable as Brie’s beam or crusher’s smash though.

From what I’ve noticed there haven’t been any changes. The assassins in CoF P2 defense event for example only have 1 stack too, which just lasts a long time (didn’t check if perma).

So I just started my first Arah p3 after the patch and I noticed that I get killed by Crusher’s smash even if I stand on his side, where it never hit me. Does anyone else feel like they increased it so everybody who is even a bit “in front” of him gets smashed? Would make sense if they also made Brie’s beam larger.

Edit: I also noticed that they might have increased the “Interact” range of the blue-light-things where you put the orbs in p3 and p4. This one I’m not so sure about though, since I’m a bit lagging.
They just made the sealed dore interact range huge, thats what confused me.

They added that wall in the last patch already.

Yep, I really hope they will change it back or make it customizable. Right now its just terrible.

I’m wondering how often other dungeon sellers hijack instances. For me they seem to be the prime suspect for this.

I mostly use pug groups and I’ve never been kicked out a instance so someone could sell the it. From my experience there are a lot more people who scam the sellers who legitimaly did the dungeon on their own.
A reason for this I can think of is that it is more likely to get banned if you scam other players by kicking them before the boss than stealing a seller’s instance.

If you sell a dungeon you sell the service of you doing it for someone else, because the buyer wants the tokens/dungeon-master without having to run the dungeon himself.
Gold selling however is trading ingame currency for real money.

There is absolutely nothing similar about those two things.
The runner would have to demand real money for them to be comparable, which would be against the ToS.

How is it a scam?

- Selling something you don’t own is fraud. How did these sellers get into the position where they are selling the path anyway? Did the seller secure their position by being the instance owner, almost complete the instance with the help of party and then kick them out?

You sell the service of soloing the dungon up to the last boss, so the customer doesn’t have to run the instance himself (for tokens/dungeon master/experience).
Legit sellers will have soloed it instead of kicking the party, I have actually never experienced that myself.
(Doesn’t need to be solo, can be duo/trio etc. just to clarify)

3.3k hours, no pre from drops or mystic forge.

Well, if you do mostly world bosses, you probably won’t need the block anyways. If you want to play Axe mainhand, I would suggest to take Sword offhand, since skill 5 is a block as good as the shield one as long as you aren’t in melee range and skill 4 hits quite hard or Mace for great vulnerability (though most bosses have permanent 25 stacks) and an interrupt+high damage.
You should consider using banners to support your allies instead of PS, since it syngerizes best with Forceful Greatsword and crit.
To be honest, most bosses get zerged down so fast anyways that it actually doesn’t really matter if you use something else except autoattack.

You probably won’t be able to use might on block very effectively.
If you want to share might with your allies, you would be better of with a build based on “Phalanx Strength” in combination with “Forceful Greatsword”, instead of going deep into the defense tree.
I don’t know how up-to-date this is, but it should give you a general idea about how the build works.
Edit: I am speaking about PvE content atm, if you are talking about WvW, I have no idea

Someone in my group had the same problem and we told him to at least attack the boss once next time (even though you only do 0 dmg). This got him the achievement, but I don’t know if it will work for you. Good luck!

They are just weapons which have a bit better stats than the other weapons with the same level requirement (ie 50 power instead of 40 at lvl 30 – I don’t know exact stats, so i made this up).
