anyway each of the guilds have their own rep policy so be prepared for a no here or there and each of the guilds uses it’s own method of WvW such as the [NoE] open raids, the [OP] roaming and the [Jd] silent, separate and very effective guild raids

Right then, I came to the thief forums looking for something interesting to read, and what do I find? This beautiful gem of a thread that had enough lols to fuel the rofl copter.

From what I have read (and yes I read the whole thread), people have pointed out that you don’t seem to know the basic mechanics of thief such as dodging, stealth, weapon switching for utility and even something as mundane as walking and when people tell you something productive, you don’t think about what they are actually saying and immediately call them trolls or stupid followed up by you checking all of their past messages for some reason.
To me this looks like a serious case of L2P (yes even with lag it is doable) and at the same time a case of deflate your ego and take advice from the people who gave you some.

Good that you got some of your points, sorry that you couldn’t get them all, but due to certain uhhhhhh…..circumstances we could not get all of your points (I am sure you know why), maybe next time you can get them ^^

Well now, somehow I have found myself back on the forums….anyway, the reason we usually don’t have much or any of the green corner is because as a lot of people know, we don’t usually have zergs running amok as they do on other servers (with the exception of a small-medium guild here or there and the weekly raid…..or whenever someone sees chunk’s top hat) and if our roamers decide to take part of the green corner the contents of that corner are usually upgraded and you will find yourself in a sea of the enemy. Anyway I hope to see you get your points at tonight’s raid

when I have been online during this matchup ( have things to do ):
enters WvW EB, looks out of the gate, sees zerg
enters FoW BL, sees commander, sees commander fail, tries to roam, gets killed by 15 players, tries another BL

and when I was trying to look at the guild tab some charr hammer warrior with an ascalonian helmet decided to attack me, got rid of over half of my health while I was distracted, I die when about 5 more players show up and he starts jumping on my corpse >:(
later I found him inside of a zerg and killed him XD

Hahaha it will be interesting if one day the engineer will see the thief at the bottom of the nerf hole, so don’t complain just yet XD

So far I am not feeling great about this match up because I can’t really do anything , there are scouts everywhere so I can’t roam or I find that when I near a camp, tower or keep there is a zerg after me :P I can’t command as well, merely due to the massive amount of commanders everywhere in most maps and when I do on a very rare occasion get to command and we take something, several commanders who I have never seen or heard of appear out of nowhere

Well we had some interesting fights today, in one of which we took back FoW keep in EB (tried to take it without dzag seeing, but that went horribly wrong) nice defence there dzag (well no one seemed to have supply but gj all the same)
and on another note here is to hoping that I find BNF for some interesting fights

I think that I have seen you before Kimbald :/ (not sure if you remember me, black charr engineer with flamming shoulder plates, who has a tendancy to turn into a whirlwhind)
and sorry to FoW that I have not been able to help, but a combination of little time to play guild wars and some really epic lag have kept me away. I will try to play again all the same.
As well as I am trying to rebuild my old guild that many people have probably never heard of if anyone is interested

I have not been on guild wars of late ( due to a number of things that I had and some that I still have to do ) but when I do come back I will try to return to FoW, alot of people will not remember me but hi to those who do it may take me some time but I shall return …eventually!!!

I am not very sensitive at all in actual fact. I just don’t want this thread reduced to a flame war, where I have to endlessly search through spam to find anything relevant.

I have been fighting for FoW since pre-release, I have seen it all but I start to tire of zerg vs me. I will however continue to fight on and command where I see fit for the good of our server

oh and if people are sitting in the invincible area killing you, next time be smart enough to stay out of range :P

It seems that Chris is on the path of starting a flame war, to avoid this please do not start calling names again, we have enough of that from someone on our server who sits in the citadel all day and constantly spews out nonsense and insults into the chat, which sometimes leads to a spam war. So if you have nothing nice to say, keep it to yourself for the sake of this thread.

I know that RoF is not at full strength and all, but I have had a few good fights against them, most of which ended with me on my own and getting zerged as my support had vanished into thin air

Well I have seen something that I have never seen before…
3 of us were sitting in a camp in EB beating back a few RoF
after a bit of scouting and dying on the RoF side they set up a treb to take the camp XD and got the frogs to attack at the same time that they were trebbing us…now I have seen everything

It was…an interesting fight this morning in FoW bl when we took dawns back and a few camps, then got facerolled at AB inner, and then took some more camps and dawns…again (we will never give dawns up) XD .We will need a lot of luck to actually take some stuff and it really doesn’t matter what server we are up against, we will get facerolled by zergs by any oter server (Vabbi not included :S) anyway I hope that people find some means of having fun

but I have 1 question, who was that ele commander?

Well since BT are so fond of using that zergball of their’s I think that ping pong sounds appropriate XD but on a more serious note it is hard to gain any ground, if we try to take back that keep in EB we suddenly have a BT zerg at our back. I wish you good luck all the same :)

Well the “alliance” seemed to have been broken by some vabbi who attempted to make a zerg in FoW bl but were chased out. Anyway it is a fun match up, still rather zergy on the BT side and the new vabbi zerg is doing well, keep it up and to others on FoW please don’t leave WvW when a certain person starts spamming and verbally abusing the server with “sick kids” and the sort, we lose a lot of people that way

I say leave them be, there is no reason to fight them, over time they will self destruct. Their massive egos and mad creations will be their downfall and to any who try to argue this point, take a look at their reactor in metrica province and the asura fractal where there is only one mad asura left

To begin with: yes I know that there are a number of posts on the forum regarding this and I would rather add 1 post than reply to the numerous others that there are.

Now then on to the topic, I have noted that in the many posts on the forum there are people who have no idea about what is going on in FoW and these particular people leave plenty of negative comments most of which say that the people on FoW are just bad players (there is also one person on FoW who says this but that person is not worth anyone’s time) but that is not the case, the horrible truth is that we are always outmanned (I pity Vabbi who knows the same) and yes I know that the other posts also state this fact and I also know that Arbour will not give up on constantly besieging our borderlands.

Well at any rate I will be giving Arbour a good fight even with their lag causing numbers…and to anyone on FoW don’t give up just listen to our good commanders and fight harder! We shall not die easily, No retreat! No surrender! and the most important thing is to have fun

all we ever get is a nerf >.<
why do we never get buffed?

I was a flame thrower engi but the: miss miss miss was irratating and I found that I couldent kill anything
I tried a turrret build and it sucked badly

I settled on a grenade engi bcs it was the only decent dmg thing I could find and here comes another nerf storm >:(

It seems that you have given Vabbi a large degree of power, this has made WvW very hard for us on FoW with Surmia’s zerg on the one side and yours on the other, however I do have a few surprises for Vabbi and Surmia

It is also alot of fun throwing grenades at your zergs as well as a few other things

if you keep fighting FoW you will come to know me as that annoying charr engineer
so good luck to you all the same

Hahaha, stupid? NO you would be very surprised with what I have seen and have you ever heard of the term: overexagguration (although in one case it was 6 people in EB as the surmians had us trapped in our base XD)

@Hill, more manpower? you must be joking most of the time we have about 4-5 players in one map, the max FoW players in WvW is about 20…however we try to fight in a way that keeps everyone alive so that may be where your ideas about our manpower come from. Well good luck to vabbi anyway

…and as a fissure WvW veteran I can tell you that we stink in WvW
