You know you should quit your class when even pve (raid) mode rejected you

Well maybe i have to encurage you to stay and try again, here is why.
I run Berserker gear in raid with 11.745 Hp to be exact and i never had really a problem staying alive at all.
And this is my build i use for it Direct Damage
As you can see you have 100% life all the time with shortbow bouncing between the targets and healing you like crazy. And also Tanking any boss ( In this case its the green one because of direct damage)
You wonna help covering the green spots ? No problem, scorpion wire is your best friend saving everyones lifes while standing in the green spots. Go stay where whatever place you are in range for the next red sparcle thats nearest the green spot and pull it away, while pulling it you dash through it going directly to the green spot!
Your team need someone to remove the blue Guardians boons ? No problem ! Just swap Deadly Arts to Trickery, buffing everyone up with thrill of crime and bountiful theft sleight of hand.
Shortbow skill 2 is a blast for everyone! holding up might stacks, healing up friends, giving auras of all kind.
Shortbow skill 5 is your best friend to move around.
You can choose from any rune or sigil you like the most everything works.

You also can do this with Condition Damage tanking the Red boss. works the same way!

In short.. everyone that says thiefs are bad in raids.. let me tell you what, everyone in my guild wants me in their group. Go away from poeple who tell you what to do and what is not meta in their eyes, let em be the try hards. The truth is, they are the toxic people that noone needs and iam laughing at them.

You should have to look for a good guild that cares for you and not your class youre playing.

Iam having a blast with my guild and we will to this first boss today.

Those clips are almost a year old. I hardly doubt they were working on Legendary Armor back then. And yeah, those look lame for a legendary.

I won’t be satisfied with legendary armor until I see that it glows like the freaking sun and you have a cape that is carried by harpies while you walk at least

Well if you look at the other armors , they are also 8- 10 month old and where also just recently released about 1-2 month ago.. so yeah they have worked on them already if thease are the armors for legendary.

Hey all,

so we all know by now that Legendary Armor will come with a Precursor. That in mind i looked at That_shaman youtube channel again and saw that all the armors we have right now that most likely would fit as Precursor and Legendary : Light Armor , Medium Armor , but the Heavy Armor doesnt show the Precursor model but could very be the Legendary also, because if you look at Medium Armor and Heavy, you see that the headgear features 2 horns, that would indicate a possibility.

Can confirm this, it doesnt work with (Infused) rings or backpacks. Please Fix this, because nobody wants to run everything over and over again just to obtain and gamble with the RNG again, or spent hundrets of laurels that i dont have or wvw that i dont have!

Hi there,

just want you to know that Impact Strike while having Quickness and Pulmonary Impact active will cause in action camera and non action camera to overshot the target and completly miss it and jump even more range than intended 400-500 range.

Note: Also Impact Strike has either a description error or the skill is also bugged, cause in its text it say that it will STUN, but the skill Dazes the target only.

Please also look into WITHDRAW and give it after 5 month our 10% heal increase

If your class has not any chance to reveal a perma stealth thief, go get some anti stealth traps. Or joint with a class that can reveal stealth ( more Classes are able to do that in HoT)…

Now stop ranting about permastealth thief, go and build a build that has CONDITION removal in it. Use it and stop beeing a crybaby.

Anet has already done something against it long ago and even added with HoT more options exactly for this situation.

Don’t take that as gospel, because I’m not 100% sure but I believe that is what they stated.

So it could be craft based.

They said the armor precursers will drop in the raid(s), specific part from specific boss.

Edit, no word on drop rate however.

The reason i expect an answer (maybe i get one), is because Anet themself mentioned that there are still things to discover, from my side however, i expect that they should reveal the still open recipes to the community for free as a noble gesture.

And no i have not defined my own definition for a principle, just to give it a push, it is a form of experience that can help and act as a principle.
I cant make you see things, and i cant make you hear things… if you didnt understood what i was trying to tell you, i cant help, simple is that. For me this part ends here, because everything is answered that has to be said in your questions manner, from my part of view.

Detailing oppinions (as we both did) will mostly ends up in argueing, this time we both are experienced enough to stop right here

1 Priciple here ; Actions cause reactions, if someone is not satisfied by the action, then the one who caused it has to respond to that reaction.
Every teacher does that.

2 Priciple help ; If the one who caused the reaction, responds, but does not clearify, then the one who reacted to the first action will ask questions about it again.
A never ending circle.

3 Priciple clearify; If still both are in an captive conversation because of the first action, then the reaction has to become clearified.

So as you can see, Anet caused a reaction that i and probaply many other want to be clearified to. Infact revealing that Information for the recipes will do it just like that.
But by counterquestioning a reaction you will earn the exact reaction i showed you, because there is still much to learn in realife also. Does not mean i wanted to be offensive to you, but i simply wanted you to maybe see it for yourself.
Maybe you learned something now.

I think telling us that there will be Collections for it similar to the Legendary Weapon collections, or if the precursors are 100% drops, not-100% drops or token based, wouldn’t hurt anyone.

Does it really hurt anything to not know? Suppose they told you that it is crafted through collections. Does it put you in a different position than had you not known?

Its about the principle.. nothing else.

And what principle would that be?

How will we acquire the new Armor ? Will it be RNG based so that we have to run it our hole lifetime and even my grandkids and their kids will have to run it to get just one piece of the set out of 100 quadrillion runs? If its RNG based iam going not even to bother doing Raids at all… i dont .. give.. a… kittenrage !

Or will it be Craft-based?

Or will it be directly after we defeated that encounter ?

I miss many skins that are supposed to be updated into my account because i owned them before the update but had them deleted for inventory space , neverthe less i equipped them, so that they are soulbound to me, but when the update for that change came up it didnt, its almost one year ago i think… and iam very angry with the state of the game that it hasnt been updated to my account for a year now….

Its true the ranges of pistol are all different, its like they have 750 range only… but i noticed that about 3 years ago… but since i never used them until today i remembered again and was kitten angry at the same kitten stuff….

I found out that Venoms do not stack, even when they are shared with more thiefs. Logicaly they should stack, hence they have charges das shows that it be a given possibility.

Is this intended?

My Suggestion here, make them stack up to 25, but let Basilisk Venom be at 2 as it is right now, because i know it would be overpowered if it could stack over 2.

Devs are commenting that taking 40 heals or 400 (!!) attacks to charge up celestial form makes it something of a burst tool and not like Necros popping in and out of shroud. Hopefully we’re laying on fatal condition pressure a little faster than that .

Let’s see how fast can they charge that up.

Solar Beam (auto-attack) – heals 3 targets 3 pulses every 1.25 second

Thus 9 heals per 1.25 seconds, so that’s approx. 4.5 attacks which means they get full charged astral celestial in apporx. 6-7 seconds — just doing auto attacks.

They reach astral celestial sooner using other skill, but let’s not complicate it further.

A legitimate concern. We’ll get to see how it plays next week and how the balance is shaking out on the ground rather than on paper. They’ve had more time with it and seemed to think that Druids were burst healers compared to Revenants because of that spin up time.

Not to mention the wisps doing AoE heals; either the attaching one or the Druid wisp form. That celestial bar will fill up in probably every 3-4 seconds after each avatar form.

There’s no killing this nor there will be deaths in PvP. Druid will be necessary to hold a node and there will be no +1 or back-capping for Thieves — all you need is 2 druids holding 2 nodes and just watch the clock runs down and your points go up.

Very boring upcoming meta unless they remove the leash off the Thief and allow us to do what we do best — putting pressure.

No matter how much we wine (me included), we will love thief. That is faith. Who else but us thiefs can say : “We get nerfed so hard,we still going to play it, you can rip our arms off, we will backstab you with our spines”. We play thief because its fun beeing one, acting like one. Truely i say to you all, NO other class suffers like we do, NOT ONE! I win every fight within my hearth and iam still winning to this day!

You just added the holy Trinity aspect that you so highly wanted to perform a new next generation plaform, but with you new Elite specialisation …you just broke the record… you did it, not only extrem NONSTOP spamming heal and following COMBO fields that are attached to druid while walking you added also freaking Stealth aspect and by swapping to staff you Daze everyone arround you aka Staff/Staff WvW Zerging inc….. The Glyphs are instand powering Spike machines now… you can kill everyone with INSTAND DMG now… IAM FREAKING SPEECHLESS!

Skillbar:

1. Increase damage by 18% first rotation, 16% second rotation, 28% third rotation and reduce its cast time from 1 second to 3/4. In stealth 111% damage increase and its 3/4 cast time must be reduced to 1/2.

2. Increase damage by 33% and remove the root in the end of that animation. Clunky

3. Increase damage by 18%.

4. Increase dmg by 43% , use the same mechanic , add a smoke field that stays 4 seconds and increase the initiative to 5. Cast time must be 1/2.

5. Increase damage by 6% , reduce initiative from 6 to 5. Remove the root on the end of that animation. Clunky

6. Channeled Vigor = Reduce the cast time from 2 1/4 to 1 1/2.

7. Fist Flurry = Remove the kitten condition, rest is totally fine. (We are not in the Movie Kill Bill)

8. Impairing Daggers = Make them projectile finishers.

9. Distracting Daggers = Make them projectile finishers. Reduce cast time to 1/4 second from 1 second to equip, Remove the cooldown completely and let it go back to its original recast time again when all daggers are casted. Also Remove the cooldown from the equiped daggers, so we can interupt our next target immediatly also.

10. Bandit´s Defence= Ok

11. Impact Strike = Ok

Specialization

Enforcer Training = Ok

Evasive Empowerment = Ok
Weakening Strikes = Ok
Brawler´s Tenacity= Ok

Driven Fortitude = Remove the cooldown completely, i want to be rewarded for useing my dodge. Also helps the surviveability ALOT and we desperatly need that.

Staff Master= Ok
Escapist´s Absolution= Remove the cooldown.
Pulmonary Impact= Ok

Endurance Thief= It restores just 25 Endurance instead of 50. (Bug)

Impaling Lotus= Make the daggers Projectile finishers and remove the root of the end of that animation. Clunky
Dash= Remove the cast time and the root of the end of that animation. Clunky
Bound= Damage Ok, remove the cast time and the root of the end of that animation. Clunky

Yeah, pretty much sums it up, but, if anet would add a casting bar ON the ENEMEY , so that we can finally use our skills propperly in the right situation, and not by expecting “randomly” the enemy to do something and “eventually” interrupt him just by the view of sight….. yeah.. this would indeed improve sPvP in general and further more increase the PvP community itself… what anet always wanted but fails to see … sad… sad story.

They are deadly, the greatest have they become in afflicting fatal wounds that their enemys cannot recover from, swiftly their hands glide over it, from one end to the other, instandly switching stances to inflict deadly blows, enemys cant see them nor can they sense them, when they hit, it is allready over, nobody can stand against them, and their collective is unstopable. A New way of fighting they approach, proud they are not, but they where forced to, their style is utterly unique, their arts are perfect in every situation and even more deadlier that the Assassins of old.

They used their Staff to channel their healing powers to heal others, now they express the brutal force and channeling it into pure physical strength, super fast and agile like a class has mastered it never before. Martial arts in its purest way was born, deadly wounds that are not inflicted on the body of their enemys, but by inflicting internal damage in the body. Swinging their staff and creating impressive shockwaves that causes disturbance within their enemys. This creates fear in their enemys, in fact, now the expression is complete and uplifted.

You won’t see legendary armor any time soon, you will see Ascended Armor in 2013 for sure though, yes.

i´ve waited to this day! Now i personaly want answers, and iam VERY sure other want to know to!

My guess is that we will see Legendary Armor :

After HoT release, 2 Months of its balancing witch most likely will be in the beginning of 2016, 1 Quatal. And after the 3rd Living Story. Am i right ?

Thief IS going to become Monk melee specialisation. The reason why All Monk with Staff PICTURES are deleted from the forum is because revealing information that is not yet decided to be released and under NDA wich we CANT sign right now, therefore this Information is not aviable to us. You have to understand, Anet doesnt want more work that they already have.
And btw, information that is “datamined” but not officialy released, is exactly that kind of work they have to keep their eyes on.

So yeah, iam talking from experience, and my gut tell me, that everything ive said is right.

Just got kicked from game while standing in Lionsarch and cant login anymore. Several people in my guild also have this problem and cant login. 23:30 Europe Standard Time.

Error Code :42:6:3:2151 from client

Now all got kicked out and no one reporting it.. so i do!

Hi, i just want to mention that after you leave the instance you will not be able to enter it again and also you cannot complete the archievment!

Please make a Instance entrance point for that.. if you try to enter it again, you simply enter the pavillon.

Same here , never had any issues since release, but todays 2nd patch, i get kicked every 10 seconds!
Notice: Iam in Lions Arch and start getting diconnected! Havent been able to check out other areas!

Recipes with Bloodstone Shard?!

Hello guys,

i just want to mention that i dont wonna go for Legendary, because iam not a freak who farms 2 months all along to get 800 Gold just for a Legendary (are you serious???? no youre not!)

.. anyway i found a video on Youtube where a guy crafted a weaon with a Bloodstone Shard ( The Anomaly, Focus 1 Eldritch Scroll 100 Mystic Coin 1 Bloodstone Shard 250 Glob of Ectoplasm ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fruQqvuu_fk&feature=youtu.be

I wonder if there are other recipes for the Bloodstone Shard (because i have one)
But there are no Topics about this either at the moment.

Iam a thief and i want better looking weapon, but there is none that iam interested in (even in the Mystic Forge table at the moment) iam very very dissapointed… because ive spended 200 skillpoints for nothing, got 2 scrolls for map completion and can nothing do with it other than crafting legendary, but i will not… so please Anet… do something for bloodstone Shard and Gift of Exploration to do in other Recipes!

To be honest the “jumping” part dont seem to be an exploit since you dont gain anything you actually LOOSE one (1) chest with 5 tokens. But hey im not the one that makes the rules, so i have no idea if this is deemed as an exploit, glitch or nothing at all.

First of all, iam from Germany and i too got the same experience like probably everyone did who runs the Magg route. And secondly, everyone did it, until some people realised that it could be a exploit …especially the double chest, where you jump over and kill the boss first before talking to magg to do lay down the bomb.

Yes i did the double chest 4 times in a row… yes iam in shame of that and after i finished my run, i stopped immediately doing it ever again, instead i totaly stopped farming CoF until everything is fixed there. I do Have to mention also that i did the Jumping part mostly everytime, because i dont consider this as a “Exploit”, why? It is very Simple.. I discovered that you can do jump ALSO after killing the scavengers, to the First Boss (you Can do it even at start without killing at all, the same goes for the way after to the end where you could jump over to the boss).. so the Defs created a Dungeon where you can jump over walls to get to the next place ( like a jumping puzzle) [ But they manneged to set a invisible wall to the main entrance where you get portet back if an event started outside to close the dungeon] of course it isnt one, but people are beeing forced to do such things because the patch made it even worse and impossible to do it the legal way. Even running a death chain isnt the money worth it, EVEN if you do it naked.. its impossible with a fully naked group and fighting… just impossible everything is doubled no.. tripled enemys to fight.

Iam going to say this honestly to you Anet-Team, people shouldnt be punished for doing the jumping over the wall part. I do so say also that people (including me, even if i had used it only 4 times) who earn the hole day, day by day, the double chest reward (20 tokken + 5 because of the respawn from the last chest) should be punished for this. Because this, i figured out myself easy IS NOT FAIR . DOT. and if peoples rewards(tokkens) get deleted or earned items. Iam fine with that. But please do not Ban people for it permanently. I do say this because your game is fun for me and many other players. Please iam very VERY honest to right now and i think YOU (Anet-Team) SHOULD take this into consideration.
