I actually don’t care whether it’s a new set or not, but I just care about whether it’s acquirable through means other than raids.

Has there been any news on whether legendary armor will be acquirable through other means such as PvP or WvW? Thats pretty much the only news I’m interested in for PoF and would be a complete game-changer!

Attitudes like this are the reason why we are mediocre at best, and always have been. A major rework has been needed for a long time to give us a real game changing impact. The last time we were any good was when HoT first released and gave us nice alacrity up-times to support entire teams, then they nerfed us back into the ground. We need something to change to put mesmer back into the meta fold for sure!

Prior to HoT release I decided to reach 9500 AP before it was released. About two days before I reached the 9500 mark and got my reward chest. However, logging in and buying/playing HoT for the first time I noticed that I have been demoted to 9472 AP as opposed to the 9500+ I was on only a few days ago. Has anybody else has this problem? Is this intended from merging of achievements or reducing of AP from certain achievements or is my account bugged?

Okay so as far as prices go, it is of strong belief among the community that they will rise in price indefinitely?

This skin as well as all the other skins jumped in price by 200% overnight, clearly got flipped by somebody/ some people overnight and was wondering what you guys think prices will reach before the end of the event? :P

Yes I know that this same question has been posted already, but A-net seem to be ignoring it so I’m going to re-post because I and a vast majority of players want to know!

Why would anyone send you their hard earned gold, to buy the sword or not, when anybody in the game is able to make the sword?

So I have a ranger alt, 1 of many alts, and used the pet dps build just to play around in wvwvw. One of my favorite things to do was to send my jaguar up on walls to kill other players, siege etc, OP indeed but a lot of fun and one of the very few fun ranger builds out there.

Now with this last patch I noticed my little jaguar dps machine cannot have fun anymore taking down players, siege in those hard to reach areas, so my question is why is it OK for Mesmer clone’s (x3) to be able to jump on wall tops killing siege and players and not OK for my little jaguar? Once you kill my jaguar he cannot play anymore, kill a cone and new one can be made instantly to continue the efforts of the recently deceased clone.

This is all out of curiosity, my jaguar is bored

Are you actually kitten ?? Mesmers as of about 2 months ago can no longer spawn clones at enemies on top of walls and towers etc because they need perfect line of sight which is virtually unobtainable from such positions.

Hell no, people already have to spend all their money on gold-sellers to keep up with inflation, which leaves none for any of these subscriptions haha!

Can somebody please clarify for me, whether or not you are able to throw dungeon token obtained weapons into the mystic forge?

The karka event is one such example, i was wondering if anybody has heard or knows if A-net has plans to attempt to bring the precursor prices down again with an event or anything? Or is this precursor scavenge hunt that is in the works, going to be the only other attempt they are going to make at answering the players complaints about the availability of precursors.

Ah my computer for some reason pushed its date to the 31st, so i reverted it back and problem is fixed thanks guys Maybe the dailies i saw were for tomorrow? haha

So what can I do? Just because I’m in another time zone to the server means i get no daily today?

I also cannot progress in my total kills daily also for some reason, this makes my daily completely impossible to complete!

It says all I have to do is visit the vendor to complete that stage of the daily, but when I do I’m not progressing and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? Anybody else had trouble with this daily?

Is it just me or are all the bots severely reduced/gone from the game at the moment as if A-net have just done a wave of banning.

True you definitely can’t, but I think they could certainly try to draw many more players in than they currently are! Plus some monetary gain isn’t a bad thing, free legendary or not this is a christmas event and certainly not an event fit for pointless rewards to some people.

As everyone would have noticed, the rewards from this (Wintersday) event are much more aesthetically themed compared to all the other events so far. Much to the credit of the artists and developers this Wintersday looks amazing and there are no problems in that department. However there is a large part of the community that were disappointed with the rewards and possibility to make money from the final Tixx chest and have absolutely no use for the rewards such as the toy frames and cogs.

I know very well that a large part of the player base is happy with rewards of no monetary gain, but what about the others that were hoping to progress towards their legendary or something using this event?

I myself have no interest in making untradable mini’s, or don’t really see much value in permanent tonics and I know there are many that would feel the same. This leaves us with stacks of these cogs and frames in our inventories which we have no use for.

Would it be so bad for A-net to implement a vendor or change the existing ones that deal in ugly clothes, so that we can sell the cogs for a low but reasonable amount of money or even something such as Giant wintersday gift boxes(account bound or not)! Just to keep the people who used their cogs already from raging as well.

I personally can’t see any problem with such a system and if done reasonably, I don’t see how anybody opposed to “precursor handout events” or any ‘Straw men’ would be able to have legitimate issues with it.

Please keep discussion civil, constructive and stay mindful that my point is that it would be nice if there was something for everyone in this Wintersday event!
