Thanks for all the feed back. I main a mez with a full condition build. I run a hammer dragon rev for zerging. I also have a ranger, warrior and guardian I play occasionally all with exotics. Pretty sure after reading everyone’s feed back I need to practice and try some new builds.

Just came back to the game last week after a couple year break. I’ve never been one for crafting and actually hate it. I play wvw don’t do raids and not really in to pve.

I’ve noticed it’s very hard to kill people in wvw now even one on one and I get my ass handed to me most of the time. I have full exotics but pretty sure everyone else is maxed in legendary gear by now.

Is there an easy way to obtain legendary gear for someone who just enjoys wvw only? I’ve noticed a npc that has legendary in wvw but says need to own the skin first so a bit confused.

You’re going to have zergs because 90% of the people in WvW follow the Commanders around which is why we have them. So I’m going to say this on Anet’s behalf it’s “Working as intended”

Tier 3 16/30 wasn’t worth the hassle honestly so I stopped.

No, unless they rework the rewards and tell us in advance everything we’ll get at the end of the tourney!!! I’m tired of let down after let down.

I would have been happy with a nice back piece or weapon set or something I could actually use towards WvW since it’s all I do in this game anyways.

The finisher should be unlimited use. Some of us actually earned it….

About $400-$500. I have 6 bank tabs, 18 character slots (and will be buying more) bought over 100 BLC keys, most of the skins that go in gem store, multiple unlimited tools, unlimited salvage kit.. and a load more crap.

EDIT: Holy S*** I’ve just actually checked my paypal to see all payments I’ve made on gems and it’s actually a total of $739 (£462) didn’t think it was that much.

EDIT 2: Seems I’ve spent the most money in these recent months.. spent a total of $143 in October, and so far in November this month I’ve already spent $99.. I seriously need to slow down.

I blame all the kitten RNG.

Surely this can’t be everyone who has bought gems but this gives us a pretty good idea the amount of money people are spending.

The changes look great especially from a balancing standpoint.

On the next patch can you please do something about changing the Mesmer’s Greatsword Mind stab #3 to something more useful pretty please!!

No, it effects experience, not world experience.
And no boosts does not effect the jugs anymore either.

How does this work in WvW? Will this work with consumable WvW experience jugs as well? Does this add +20% experience after killing players to?

I want to use this to gain rank a tad bit quicker but need to know how effective it is for WvW experience gain.

So we are all pretty much spending around the same give or take a few dollars. I think the first time I bought gems the rate was only like 1g and a few silver per 100 gems now it’s nearly 5g.

It’s much easier now to earn gold but I spend most of it on food for WvW. The last batch cost me nearly 20g for 2* 50 stacks.. gold adds up quick when you WvW for 4-6 hours a day and eat food every 30 min.

As I purchased another $20 in gems last night not only to buy another armor set and some trinkets for a different build for my Mez but to help show my love and support for the game I could only think to myself how much money have I spent on gems since purchasing this game.

Turns out I’ve spent $130 up to this point. How much have you guys spent? Do you think the gem prices are fair considering our choices on the market? If you could change anything what would it be and why?

If you haven’t spent any money buying gems yet what could they add to the store to make you purchase them?

Yep it’s horrible and practically unplayable at times so I exited the game it’s pointless even trying…

There are a lot of people from the atari and NES era who were privileged enough to see how gaming has evolved over the past 30 years.

I sure do miss playing Contra on the NES it was my favorite game back in the 80’s! Before that was Asteroids on the atari. Then I remember when Super Mario Bros came out and it was the coolest game ever.

Me and my brother used to fight because he used to cheat and take my turn haha good old days.

We were attacking SMC and I died, after I rez back to our keep I took about 20 steps and was attacked and killed by the Legendary Castle Lord inside our own keep. This is either a bug or major lag issue but I had no lag at the time.

I bought these runes for my Mez and what a difference in WvW. I do miss the undead runes I used but the +10’s from these runes help make up for the difference in some aspects.

My survivability jumped about 60% since equipping them. I just wish instead of the +2% crit dmg it currently has that it had -2% condition duration instead!

I hear intelligent people play Mesmer which would probably explain why it’s one of the least played classes in the game. It requires a little bit of common sense, patience and persistence to play which most people have yet or may never develop who play this game.

Warrior and Guardian are probably tied for 1st place as most played classes because it requires little to no effort to play and takes practically no brain power to figure out.

Ya things get out of whack but at least they talk to us, let us know what’s going on with the game on the forums and are making changes and adding content faster than any other game out there and you aren’t paying a $15 subscription fee to get it!

Devon is basically saying It doesn’t matter how many people are on one server or how bad you suck or the server sucks, or what tier it is, if you put a little time in WvW you will get some sort of reward at the end which is better than what we currently have atm which is nothing!

Give me a free ticket and I’ll transfer to the lowest Tier server right now!

Show me some “Untradable, Unsellable, Character Bound Legendary Armor” then we’d have something to talk about because as I see it now anything that can be bought from the trader without actually earning it makes me not want it in the first place.

People want to be unique and want to be able to brag about it so what’s the point in that if some nut spends $300+ in the gem store to buy gold to buy Legendaries, it defeats the purpose of what the Legendary items symbolizes.

Why do I feel as if the Ranger community is going to regret this. Pets were good already just needed minor pathing/ai fixes. An increased stat across the board will make them over the top, couple that with a few builds that 30 BM like mine does, trait felines for crit on regular hits and all of a sudden pets are wrecking players. Mark my words, it won’t be good.

You must not be a real ranger then….

I was hoping pets would have gotten a speed buff so players cant run away from them. Maybe next time.

My WvW BM/Condition Build.

I agree with the OP. People that wvw daily lose hundreds of badges between weekly resets. At least up the maximum amount of badges from 1-2 to 4-6 to compensate.

Pets:
Perma 25% speed buff doubled to 50% if SoH is equipped!!

Utility/Trap:
White powder – shows thieves location while stealth for 3 seconds when triggered!

If you guys want to do constant damage then you better learn to utilize your pets because no matter what combination of weapons you use your pet will do more dps regardless especially if spec in to BM.

I know it sucks sometimes especially when your pet is mauled in 3 seconds and you lose your main DPS output but that is just the way the devs intended the class to be focused around.

In all honesty if the devs would give pets a permanent speed boost so players can’t outrun them I’ll be happy. I would also like the ability to be able to pull thieves out of stealth whether it be a special skill or pet skill.

I’m not saying be able to pull them out of stealth every single time but at least give us an opportunity every now and then. Maybe a new utility or trap skill that throws white powder on the ground and if the thief hits it then it shows where he is for 3 seconds.

Even better maybe add white powder to one of our bow attacks or sword attacks that puts it on a thief and if he has the debuff on him when he stealth’s we can see him for 3 seconds.

I’m just throwing out a few idea’s which I’m probably sure has already been thought of but hey it can’t hurt.

Rangers aren’t perfect but they are fun to play regardless. Full BM build is fun to watch my cats beat people up because they ignore them until so much bleed is on them it’s already to late then that big crit comes and bam sucka!! haha

I would like to see an option that doesn’t involve pets all the time. In other words give us some of the extra power/hit points our pet have to our weapons/traits when our pet is stowed!!! Maybe add additional combat spirit pets that last a certain duration and can do certain attacks or aoe damage depending on there ability/traits that can’t be killed during combat. Maybe exclusively just for WvWvW as a badge perk or something.

As it stands now and we all know pets die in seconds in WvWvW and that’s where most of the action is these days. I like playing my ranger and currently use a trap build and only use pets for occasional buffs and condition removal because this is all it’s reliable for currently in WvWvW.

I see a lot of potential and possibilities with the ranger class if the dev team is willing to renegotiate it’s current state. Other classes just have to many utility/counters to what we have at our disposal currently.

One more thing, please consider increasing trap size from 50% traited to 75% and give us an additional knockdown/knockback trap. Thanks!

I’ve been having the same issues with Fort Aspenwood and I’m sure many others have as well. I have Fios 50/25 internet so not on my end.

I’m fairly certain 90% of you will be happy with your rangers once they have got everything reworked. Anet is clearly looking out for the best interest of the game and the players who play it.

Do to asura and there high-tech nature i’d also like to see some cultural armor that has some bling and motion to it. This would set the Asura apart from other races especially do to the overwhelming technology Asura possess.

Surely they could make the best technologically advanced armor in the game could they not? I’m fairly certain we will see new armor when Anet releases an expansion!
