Ok closed all the other tickets and just left the first one… I hope this works. Thanks Gaile.
My account was hacked posting from a family member’s.
My Ticket Submited on 09/01/12 = 120901-010517
It was answered on the 3rd my account was shifted to a new email address I provided, and I was given a temporary password.
10 minutes later another representative also looked at the ticket and repeated the same steps.
The Last & The First Temporary passwords … do not work.
I had also opened

All NOW CLOSED as advised by GaileGray on the forums. She said to just keep my 1st Ticket open and I should receive help. Please help… I just need a temp password for that account since the other 2 did not work… please help?

I think one of the issues might be one of the reps changed my ticket tittle to “Access restored” thinking that he had fixed my issues.
Unfortunately for me the issue had not been resolved.

Have you updated your ticket to say what you need. I’d go back to the oldest, put in the new/revised request, and close the newer ticket.

In answer to your question I posted twice in my original ticket the same day that the issue had not been resolved because of the passwords given to me by the 2 representatives were not working.
Also, I would be willing to close out my other tickets but do not see an option on how to do so on my side.

Lots of us are having the same problem. They seem to be actively ignoring right now to help all the people who can’t protect their own accounts.
some people had unique passwords and emails and still got hacked… like me. Keep in mind we can’t use what we paid for at all. While you still have game access we don’t.

Block lists generally have a limit on the number of people that can be blocked.
Right-clicking on player names doesn’t always work (in WvWvW, for example).
Neither the “ignore” feature nor the profanity filter are excuses for poor behavior, as stated several times here and in other venues by ArenaNet staff.
but you see it’s also poor behavior for blocking someone, and then reporting them for some sort of temporal outburst. You are acting like you have never had an outburst of your own. Everyone acts poorly from time to time, that includes you. Should I follow you around and wait for your outburst to happen and then /report you?
I simply cannot fathom why it is so difficult for some people to comport themselves when in a public setting, whether that’s at the mall or in the public sections of a multiplayer game.
Reporting someone’s poor behavior isn’t poor behavior. Quite the opposite.
Try and report me for cussing in the mall. If it’s an isolated incident they’ll probably just laugh at you.
If you’re wandering through the mall cussing at strangers, I can assure you no one will have to report you. You’ll be taken into custody and escorted off the property.
No one swares at random strangers even in the game. They sware at:
1. Friends
2. People they are argueing with.You never see someone just walking around just calling random people names, it doesn’t happen.
If it’s in public chat, it’s going to everyone, regardless of who you it was intended for.
Ya but if its not directed to you mind your own business, pretty much how the world works.
Agreed to TOS…
You do not own the intellectual property its not like cursing in your house. There is no bill of rights in the game… you agreed not to curse and to the repercussions of such in the TOS. A.K.A. your contract for the rental/use of someone else’s property.
Their TOS is too open ended and is to the reader’s (or the Mod’s) discretion as to what is “inappropriate” what I think is inappropriate is not what others may think.
If you have to stop and think about what you are going to say don’t say it. Racism and Foul Language have no place in a community game’s public chat. Maybe with your guildmates… but public chat affects everyone.

I know how you feel but charge backs are taxing to deal with for companies I would not recommend it as if they fix your account the charge back could go through anyways if it gets past information retrieval which means the account will be disabled for non-payment and you will still be stuck in the same situation. Just ask for a REFUND from them don’t charge them back as it is true what the above poster has stated.

Bought a copy of game for wife on 8/29, we went through the account creation process via a serial purchased from best buy, never got a an account/confirmation email and the trying to reenter serial just says it is already in use. Also, it also never appeared in junk folders etc.
it’s been sitting since 8/29. Please help.

Hey man I had a similar issue I bought mine through gamestop digital download and it turns out they accidentally gave me a CD key they already had in their database and not a new one. I had to call Gamestop and they gave me a new key…
If you bought it through a 3rd party make sure you got the right CD key from them.

Hello I have another copy of the game … well actually we have 4 in the house which I bought… but my other account was compromised.
I submitted the ticket on 09/01/12
and I got an answer on September 3rd I was very happy, but 2 different reps answered my account compromise issue within 10 minutes of one another… and I think this might have caused and issue because neither temporary password they stated would work for the account is working.
My support ticket is 120901-010517 I have since made different Tickets which would be considered duplicate posts I apologize about this but I was following the instructions on the “state of the game” page on wiki. Please reset my password for the account as they have already secured it… but have somehow given me the wrong password.
