I think my desire for this comes from me loving how the carrion swords look… Besides the color. I know it’s a plant type deal but I think it’d look a lot sweeter in red or blue.

I’d love to be able to dye weapons.

It’s just so limited right now. I love my Krytan armor but kind of tired of it by now.

haha I’m not playing for another 10 minutes so my only other option is discussing my favorite game and I just realized the halloween update will be here next week and I read that we will get a content update before that.

We were told that there will be a new content update BEFORE the halloween update.

This is not a thread asking why they haven’t yet, but moreso asking you guys if you think it might come out tonight since this is usually a patch night.

Yep. I spent about 4g on gems to buy the dye packs.

Just to keep the dyes. Not even to resell. I can’t stop.

I know, beggars can’t be choosers, but I can’t stand anything other than Hunter. After trying everything, it’s all I’m good at.

Perhaps I am an idiot and I’m just not playing right, but it feels as though there just aren’t enough skills. They’re all binded to the type of weapon (ie shortbow gets 5, longbow gets 5) and it’s such a limited amount.

The rest are mainly boons and traps.

This IS coming from someone who has not played GW1 and have no idea how it was then. Either way, this is a new game and while I greatly enjoy the game, the skills are limited and become kind of dull.

Yup I did notice that! Quite a bit, actually. I’m sure there will be more way down the road, but I am going to guess that it the visible unopened areas would be in the first EP.

Then again, I know nothing and am probably very wrong

I see no reason why it would be boring and repetitive with new content in expansions, though.

I’m not even to 30 on my main. This is just pure curiosity and boredom. I’m in no rush. I just see so many people talking about how bored they are at 80 that I started to wonder, will there be any levels beyond this?

Of course no one knows for sure, but I’d still like everyone’s thoughts and opinions since that’s what makes this subforum so interesting.

I thought about using the wiki but I wasn’t 100% sure if maybe there was a convenient list of a bunch of stuff, ya know?

And the order of rarity for items from least to greatest is Blue, Green, then Yellow?

I mean, I know the characters and stuff, but I am new to Guild Wars, period. Stuff like “mat” and “boon” are completely foreign to me and I feel like my ignorance cheapens my experience with the game despite having a lot of fun.

I would just like to enjoy the game at its fullest and not be oblivious to the world of Tyria and what lies within.

I’m having enough fun with just 3 characters, to be honest!

I never understood how someone could need to buy so many slots. To each their own, though. I don’t see anything wrong with it, haha. Just my own experience, I feel fulfilled (at the moment) with 3!

I play with my cousin who is a middle school teacher with little to no time to play so I mostly help her level and catch up with me. By the end of the night, I realize I’ve jumped a few levels just helping out!

haha I never get any chattiness with people after revival. To their defense, I think it might be shame of having to be revived and having died at all.

Oh, I have a TON to do. I’m only level 15.

I’m not bored. I guess it’s just weird to imagine there’s nowhere to go after a certain point. I mean, there’s a lot to do after hitting 80. I just mean in terms of a numerical level, it just ends haha. I think people find comfort in having a visual idea of their progress.

I’ll be honest, I’m a bit of an introvert, I play games with friends and have done so with the same people for the last 13 years. If I actually wanted to talk to you, you’re likely in my guild already. I’ve also found that my opinions and “sense of humour” doesn’t always translate well and often gets me in trouble :P

It’s all good. I am also an introvert. I guess it’s more getting a response to something like answering a question (I shamefully had no idea how to leave my area and get to Shiverpeak via an Asura gate.) than something like a full on conversation. haha

That’s the a big part of the fun. Talking to people and messing around.

haha Aeon, I think that has only happened once with me. And it’s because we gave eachother CPR 4352 times.

I have not played WoW or even GW1. Actually, the only MMO I’ve ever played is Mabinogi.

I stopped playing it a few years ago and a little before the release of GW2, I realized I need something to occupy me what with my current & chronic situation in my life. So I turned to GW2.

I have to say, I really enjoy it. This may be because I am not a seasoned MMO player, but I am having a lot of fun. I do notice having to grind and whatnot and the low level equips (mainly armor) isn’t pleasing to the eye right now, but I can truly say that I am having fun. The market is kind of empty and whatnot and I’d like an excuse to spend some money to “get pretty” but I understand it’s only been out for 2 weeks.

I think the one major draw back (and it isn’t ANet’s fault) is nobody talks back! Not to me, anyway. I don’t know if they started the game with friends so they feel comfortable talking to them or what, but I have seriously tried to initiate conversation only to have someone run off.

Anyway, I hope you all at least try to enjoy yourselves. I know I am.
