So i changed my email linked to my account and my Account name was Sam.3645 and now its Sam.8193 o_O and support telling me my account information is incorrect now… Did they mess up and link my account to another account or something? I’ve supplied all the same info I used to change my email and they’re saying its incorrect / not even close x_x

FA, great respect for you guys, we are so closely matched now, rivalry aside, i really like the tone both sides have largely adopted this week.

How this matchup has been for me- Try to flip a camp with 3 people, TC portal bombs with at least 15. Whatever, wipe, try again at the next camp – TC rolls by with at least 10 people.
There’s just TC EVERYWHERE, it feels like it’s not even worth trying to play this week. I hope TC leaves this tier and never ever comes back to it – Sowwie TC, but you don’t belong here.

Yes, we don’t belong in T3, it’d be best for every server if TC just moved up. To do that however, we (TC) need larger score gaps, therefore we need hit you guys with everything we got still even though we are winning already… Sorry for the lousy week(s), hopefully it passes for us all soon

FA spent the entirety of their match-up with TC spewing insults about how TC was bad and only had numbers etc etc, and then got kitten when TC players defended themselves. Then they trolled the cross-server event, bragged about it endlessly, made fun of people trying to get some cross-server respect going on, and complained when they got reduced to 0 PPT during NA prime-time the next day. Even now, the FA community forums are all about how having a civil match-up thread (like the BG/TC/Kaineng thread from the last three weeks) was “disgusting” and how it “needed more hostility”.

The old match-up threads are still there, anyone can go read them. Don’t rewrite history, and don’t blame your issues on someone else.

I know the threads are still there, that’s why i quoted one of them.
If you don’t think rivalries are fun, there are plenty of noncompetitive options for you.

and I’m specifically referring to the fact that in the earlier TC FA matchups TC was not much stronger than FA at all, we had very close matchups until TC received transfers. For some reason some of you spent lots of time denying an influx of players and basically told us to keep practicing because eventually we’ll improve.

I have no shame for receiving the oceanic transfers that helped us improve to a point where we can compete again.

There’s no Lord inside Red Lake Tower @ BGBL atm… can’t cap it because of bugged lord. =/

Have you tried joining a WvW guild or avoiding TCBL? At least, that’s where I assume you’re going based on the description.

I wasn’t about to throw myself at guilds just yet until I got more experience. I played Warhammer for years, but I was a Zealot (healer). Now I’ve been running out there as a thief. I don’t do too badly, I guess. But I still don’t fully understand the setup. And yes, you are right. Borderlands. I don’t think I’ve gone beyond the top half of the map yet, as we keep fighting over the same 3 or 4 areas all day long. We don’t have enough people, and it’s frustrating. Every time we go to take a keep, a group 4x the size of ours comes out and it’s like a freight train running over a basket full of kittens (<—— not a bad word, I mean literal kittens, just to be clear). Fight to take one of the three supply camps, our garrison, lose them a few minutes after. Wash, rinse, repeat. Try to take the eastern keep, fail, run back, die again . . . you get the picture.

Yes, home border land’s defense can be very frustrating in T2, but try your hands with offensive BLs, your opinion of WvW being boring might change. And you play a thief, one of the funnest profs in WvW, once you get enough experiences you’d be able to pull off some crazy stunts

Well, I’ve only been WvWing for the past 3 or 4 days, but it does seem to me that my server (Tarnished Coast) just doesn’t have enough people interested in participating in WvW. We try anyway, and usually fail, but I’m also seeing commanders in map chat getting bitter towards each other, as if there is some sort of power struggle or something. I’m new, so I don’t know the history. But shouldn’t they be working together? Or is it just an inside joke? Trolling, maybe? -shrug-

You should try to get into one of the big wvw guilds (such as my guild’s) enemy borderland push lots fun out of it on top of rewarding experiences/captures

Yeah Thai, good timing with your golem rush, everyone(2guys) we had in Hills were afk when it happend while the rest of the map (5ppl) were trying to defend Red Water… but it’s all good, we couldn’t have fended you guys off for long with the ppl we had on the map, and it’s because one of the afkers, we managed to portal back into Hills and ninja cap it

however still sad to see our fully upgraded keep gone

Loved BG’s persistence of trying to take Redlake with catas! For almost two hours you guys just kept running back to the tower and built more catas to be fended off by us :P

Great fun inside BGBL’s Bay Inner! Hid inside for almost 2hours xD but my stupidity killed me trying to 1v1 people inside… cuz I was bored. Props to you guys(Kai) for being able to sweep for 2hours!

Real efficient strategy today inside KBL Bay to auto attack down the gate with 30-40ppl when we had no more than 10 defending xD but it was fun, we kept killing the rams/ram sites set at north inner gate first by ICOA, then a Kai zerg, with the east inner bay cannon. I probably shouldn’t give enemy tips, but I feel like you guys deserve this…

To our new zombie friends, and beasts of the gate, it’s been fun so far. Spent most time within the TC BL. Taking out yak’s from north camp (actually on the road just outside of it), and contesting gar when en route (<charr thief, was tried, convicted, and punished for the yakslapper offense). Was good to see sB (sry if I got the tag wrong), also doing a lot of that last night.

iCoa, joker – it’s good to see the progression over time with your guild.

And TC… PiNK – super crazy 2 shot thief… what is your build. I’m just curious (you play the blonde human, but hit like a truck 2 shoting pvt people, and were protecting a treb briefly at the north east camp). Is it full GC?

o_O my guildies think you are talking about me but I am not entirely sure. I did in fact protect the NE camp’s trebs, but that was like 10 hours ago of the time I post this. I was a blonde (only with Hylek Yellow Hue Potion), human female thief with 2 incinerators ;o and I think I do rmb fighting you once or twice, one time was 1v2ing against you and another person at CS’s switchback.

That is the one, it was last night, saw you twice, between 10pm-1am (first at north camp when I came for the yak), the later being at that north east camp above EH when you guys were trebbing EH a minute or so before our counter finally started hitting it. I know with the 2 incinerators it’s gotta be you. I definitely remember, not often I drop that fast with the ‘wtf that was fast ouch’. I’m full pvt & ppt so I was very impressed and I’m interested to understand you line up trait wise and gear, because while I like my current, I’m always interested to try new things to see for myself. But I do understand if you’d rather keep it under locks. I suppose enough trial and error I could figure it out (I just dont want to go full GC, but I had one of those ‘wow, gotta know what that guy is running moments’. Very nice and will keep my eye out for ya all week long now.

oh wow I am flattered, yeah i don’t think it’s a good idea to offer enemies tips, but what I can tell you however is I run a full valkrie set and let you figure the traits/skills on your own, my build isn’t too glassy and as long as you pay attention to cooldowns, you should be able to run away from anything
