I finally got around to playing HoT content, then finally got all the necessary lore masteries, then FINALLY went through all of the story missions to face down Mordremoth… only to die and be placed in a ‘penalty box’ where I had to watch the entire battle from afar (see the screenshot). WTFluff is this?! This is SO disappointing! After all the work that I did, to just sit on the sideline? You would think there would be a way to get back into the fight – Maybe after death, you respawn in the real world and have to reenter the mind-rift or whatever.

PS – I died during the battle when Mordremoth summoned some sort of ground explosion and I had to jump into an air updraft to avoid it, only, I couldn’t find it will all the kitten particle effects swirling around the map at the same time.

Hey everyone!

Like some of you, I’m just starting working on my design for the emblem contest. I’m having some trouble and I noticed there aren’t a lot of forum posts where I can find help (at least not showing up in the search results). Anyway, how about we make a post to get technical help with the contest, like using Photoshop?

For me, I can’t get the texture layers to display on my designs. The instructions say to just ‘paint’ them on, but nothing I do to the layers is getting them to display. What do I have to do to the Photoshop template to get them to display? Thanks!

Right now I’m at 10/11 achievements towards completion, with only ‘Finders Keepers’ left. Problem is, this achievement is taking FOREVER to get, since I have to sit around… and wait… for donations… so the event can start… so the dolyak can hopefully drop 3 presents at most per event. It’d be nice if the infinite achievements could count once towards the overall achievement completion, just so I’m not suck having to wait around forever this stupid quest to start. Hopefully consider this for future achievement lists?

Hooray! From a technical perspective, I’m curious, how does the script know who is missing a reward?

I had the exact same thing happen on Yak’s Bend. Really disappointed with what happened.

The same thing happened to me. I was participating in the vent since it started. I got DC’d several times and was able to connect to a event still in progress. When I got DC’d at the end, I reconnected to a server that already finished and got left empty handed while others where showing off what they got. I’m really disappointed that there wasn’t a better way to manage rewards or credit for participating when its INEVITABLE that there is going to be lagging and DC’s.
