Buffing d/d would mean buffing d/p unless u buff something like c&d which it would be the wise move, make it unblockable or make it to steal 1 boon, i do fine with d/d power most of the time (unless fighting d/p bound with pi) but for sure d/d needs some love d/p has been on top since launch it is time to change the meta.
The other day some dude whisper me saying d/p was one if not the most underpower weapon set we have when i asked to explain how he just block me, mind u he was playing d/p with bound and pi he was resetting the fight every time he was under 40% hp and i just stood there watching how he reset it every time with my d/d and shortbow build, how is that fair? no idea but anet seems to like buffing already op thing (looking at u SoJ)
They should really nerf d/p, it is a brainless weapon set with zero flaws, blind thru blocks, interrupts, on demand stealth, one of the best auto attacks if not the best and promote skill less gameplay with ghost teefing and black powder dodgers
l2p other weapon sets, d/d is great, staff is kinda op, s/d needs work and there is always p/p for the unskilled ones.
I main teef and i approve this nerf.
^^Another person that doesn’t play at higher tiers in pvp. If d/p is so brainless and broken why don’t we see it rolling over everything in Pro League and why do people still throw tantrum when they see double thieves on same team?
The reason why people cry for d/p nerfs is because they can’t beat it on their hipster d/d buils. I am all up for buffing other sets but it is just stupid to ask for nerfs for only set that keeps thieves somehow viable in pvp.
I never said D/P was broken in fact i have beaten countless D/P teefs using the “hipster” D/D build “power” and im actually having little to no problem fighting them with my current build but i wanna see a change in the meta, D/P has been the top weapon set since launch, D/D was a merely 2 to 3 months meta back on launch and when ppl learned how to combo BP with HS no one looked back.
All i want is whats best for the class, if its buffing other sets i welcome it, if its nerfing D/P i welcome it too but we need diversity already…

There is a simple fix to this issue, leave the current denominations as is but also give the players a more advance option which allows us to manually enter the exact value as below.
This way, the newer players can continue to use this new system and the veterans who are already familiar with the old can be unaffected by the change.
I was about to say exactly that, if you guys really wanna satisfied both new and veterans players leave the new system up and bring the other one as an advance system for veterans players, everyone knows the exact intentions of the change u don’t have to use the “new player” excuse to hide from the truth i found that very greedy, i expected this move from publishers like Activision and EA and not from NCSoft.
So if i wanna transfer to another server now i have to pay 80 golds instead of just 20 -30g? meaning i buy 1600 gems cash from store and just 200 with gold which was around 25 gold the last time i checked which was last monday soooooooo yeah anet, i will say this move is just plain stupid from your part especially when WoW expansion is just around the corner and people like me are looking for an excuse to play it, nice way to keep your current player base up, oh btw i got a friend that recently join gw2 and he totally disagree with the nonsense gem store change just because now he has to throw 80g that he doesn’t have to buy the phantom mask good job anet, do some surveys in the future before u do stupid things like this one.
