Guild Wars 2

If servers are full truly based on how many accounts are registered to the server, then I would like to know if all these bot accounts that are being banned are still considered registered to that particular server. If this is the case, then I am willing to bet if they removed these accounts completely from the server database a lot of servers would not be as full as they are. I think it is worth investigating myself.

I think to solve all these problems mentioned above. A new dungeon design team should be hired. I do not see much in the terms of unique mechanics in the dungeons we currently have to run at the moment. I also have seen that as you progress through the dungeons from AC to Arah the story starts to get more and more BLAH. I remembered when I first ran AC, the cut scene was awesome, and the story behind what we all were doing here made good sense and was interesting, but as I progressed onward through CM, SE, TA, ect, ect. It really started to become less and less cut scenes, and more of 2 individuals standing in a blank background just chatting with each other, nothing to entice the eyeballs at all. I personally don’t care about how long it takes to kill a boss, but yes having tons of hp without any real challenge other than knowing when to dodge is a bit o’ stale game play. Having more hp does not make it more challenging, it only makes it more boring! Id rather have less hp and more kitten to worry about with the boss fight than tons of hp and just having to dodge, smack smack smack, dodge..

It seems to me this game is totally surrounded by great swords.. along with only a few others to really choose from. I had kinda figured since they have 1 handed axes some genius would have added a great axe, and what about a few pole arms(halberds, ect…) spears only usable under water? I guess lack of variety is kinda boring. Something to think about for future content I suppose

Who thinks 2-handed weapons with mf should be 6% since if you dual wield lets say a swordhorn you can get a total of +6% 3/3?

My answer to solve all your problems—-Shelf the game, play another game.. wait for anet to either man up and fix kitten right. then come back and play. Ive seen the end of the story, seen what WvW has to offer, seen what Spvp has to offer(none of which impress me personally, had expected Guild vs Guild since it is called Guild Wars) Other than this, o wait jumping puzzles.. now there’s something to spend my time doing.. I think not, but kudos to those who like it.

On Blackgate, I can count 3 weeks now the same group running frostgorge doing the ice elementals and the ice drakes near broodmother spawn. Same pattern, same class(Ranger) I have not reported them 1 time, but several times.. I am starting to wonder if this post on “what we are doing about botting” is just a way of trying to calm people down, but infact nothing is being done.. I am tired of being punished for Anet’s lack of ability to combat bots. Make a game where you have to farm endlessly, yet make the drop rates so kittening low cause you can’t fight bots. why not take another approach and just make the drops rates good, kitten the TP it is already screwed beyond repair..

On Blackgate this event has starting bugging, thus making it impossible to continue the chain to the temple of grenth. I was wondering of other servers are having the same issue, or if my hunch is correct that someone is intentionally learned how to bug it, so it will spawn non-stop wraiths. Tactician footi will just dissappear, and once she is gone.. it doesnt stop spawning lvl 82-84 vet wraiths, and normal ones.

Do not feel bad man, Ive already put 30 exotics in and well over 100+ rares, and for what..not a kittening thing.. I have long since stopped wasting my time with their kittenystem..The only ones who will get anywhere beyond exotics are the ones who buy the gold from the gold sellers, and the ones who bot non-stop on alt accounts cause Anet does not a kittening thing to remove them… You can say all you want, I have watched the same bots for over 3 weeks on our server.. they do the same stuff 24/7

The only thing that is a challenge in this game is making legendaries, and in all honesty.. we will have chimps on mars before .01% of the population make a legendary(and if anyone already has one, then gg for supporting gold sellers and botting probably.) I find myself realizing why this game doesnt have a monthly p2p, I for one wouldn’t pay for it, having a hard time stomaching it while it is free, almost have the nerve to ask for a refund..

Is it me, or does every male and female depending on race sound the exact same. All this wonderful scenery, and I have heard nothing but the same 10 voice overs from the entire game.

Well anything would be better than what they are currently doing to try and combat the bots.. I am SICK of running from zone to zone having to stay ahead of this crap kitten DR system they put in.. Im becoming bored with the kitten

Omg you need all that kitten for a legendary.. well ty I know now what I will not be working towards.. lol SCREW THAT! with the way stuff is dropping it will be next year before I even 1/2 way to that goal..

I don’t know if this idea has been thought of, but I noticed that a lot of these bots are running around naked cause they die so much. Well how about we make it so weapons break too. I am sure this will not be something long term, but right now.. these bots would pretty much be made useless without weapons to use skills. What is everyone’s thoughts?

I have come to the conclusion that they are not doing a friggen
thing! Game is ruined, anything else out there worth playing.. I am tired of trying to compete with the botted economy..

thanks, guess I should pay attention more to when they do this stuff. I too am interested to see how they react and what they do, if anything to combat the bot plague!

I have heard so much gossip about what is or is not being done. One was, they were gonna restart servers with some patching today.. Where is this at? I have tried to pull myself away from this, but despite all the kitten, it is still a fun game to play. It would be nice to know something though.

Have you guys not realized by now that Anet has made their money off all of us, and now it is time to move on.. If anything is being done, I sure as kitten cant tell.

Well I am gonna go ahead and back away from GW2 for a bit until I see something effective being done that doesnt hurt us legit players, This game was made so that you would have to farm to get anything, but since they added this kitten of an idea DR system, It is like pointless now.. Im bored with it already.. servers are in fact becoming slow, only 1 dragon event works on my server, and it has been like this for a week.. nearly 1/2 the events in CS are bugged.. So yah, think it is just time to find something more interesting to do with my time. Good luck Anet at fighting these bots, and I sure hope things dont die off to bad. I would love to play this more in the future, but right now I am tired of killing 50 mobs to get 3 drops.. if I am lucky.. and I have very high MF which DR has made completely useless just about.

Blackgate server is infested with bots, and has been for over 3 days now.. what is really going on.. have you guys taken a day off. I have an entire guild that is growing tired of fighting bots for mob kills and de’s I think what ANet really needs is active on the server GM’s to monitor the high bot areas and to be able to instantly see when a person suspected of botting has been reported… you dont have to watch and monitor most of the bots being reported cause it is pretty friggen obvious, especially the ones using the teleport hack… I like that game, but will gladly put it down if this isnt dealt with soon.. Ty tired gamer…

Among the several things event wise that do not work on our server, Jormag one of the better dragon events has hung up on phase 1..
