Does boon removal works for this boss?
It seems to me that ANet’s class mechanic update team has been dropping the ball lately, we see bugged skill every other class patch.
For the recent 15th Nov patch, the Elementalist’s Dragon Tooth for scepter fire 2, as the patch states to trigger the blast combo finisher at the target’s location, but combat testing to prove otherwise where no blast combo finisher was trigger at all when I went to melee range, cast Dagger off hand fire 4 for Ring of Fire, fire combo field and then cast Scepter fire 2 for Dragon tooth, the result was nothing happened, I was thinking maybe the pop up notification was not working but it seems that the blast combo finisher has been removed completely.
Is ANet considering on emphasizing the meta of sPvP, e.g. replays and commentators

As the title suggests, I wanna ask if ANet is considering to improve the meta of sPvP related content with allowing downloaded replays of tournamets, adding live commentators feature, hosting Leagues for sPvP enthusiasts and such.
I personally swaps my naga side keys to numpad and bind F1-F4 to numpad 1-4
so much easier to swap attunements

As the title suggests, need a dev to confirm this.
From what Linsey’s hint about Final Rest, she mainly said that its from a LARGE boss chest. Of which boss or of which area is not stated, I would really wanna know if in fact that Final Rest could be crafted or is it exclusively DROP ONLY?
Hmm… like ppl here have suggest, u can break the channel with any other spell cast or even by switching attunements I believe. What I like about Drake’s Breath is that it gives D/D Eles a very effective AoE spell that doesn’t require long casting like Churning Earth.

Surprising enough, a large portion of the Light Armors in game doesn’t look like traditional cloth armors we see in other MMOs. Some of them seems fairly Medium-looking.
Even this Named Exotic 1h Sword is more impressive than Bifrost, Minstrel, Meteor-something.

I agree everyone’s perspective of “cool looking” may vary, but if we break down the visual effects of Twilight and Bifrost we can see that Bifrost is lacking in terms of the projectile visual effects modifiers. Which leads to conclude that Bifrost is subpar to Twilight.
I mean, come on… If its rainbows u’re giving us, at least make the skills or projectiles or particle effects that follows with such theme. Don’t just leave it hanging there.

I’m happy with Elementalists so far (lv 80), though I do wish the bugs would be fixed.
Mainly doing PvE and WvW contents, used to roll Staff semi support build 20 fire 20 air 30 arcane with Evasive Arcana (love this trait). Could solo champions in Cursed Shore (though exhausting and time consuming, around 12 mins) and all of the Skill Points, except the underwater ones.
With the Blasting Staff trait in WvW, it is absolutely devastating, I feel like a walking siege engine.
Only major complain (though not related) is the legendary staff, no particle modifiers for attack and spells T.T

As the title states,
The last event for Arah World Event, is to fight a Mage boss wielding a greatsword, thus sparks my curiosity.
Balanced Build (Effective with every weapon type)

This build I came up with because of the fact I like to play around with different weapons, but it seems most build only compliments 1 weapon type.
First of all, I’m using crafted lv 80 Exotic Rampager gear with crafted lv 80 Exotic Beryl accessories for added health without compromising too much on damage.
For your weapon choices, it is advised to change the traits options accordingly:
Staff:
Earth Magic Traits 3rd Tier Major Traits to be swapped to VII
Scepter:
Healing Spell to be swapped to Signet of Restoration
Arcane Power Traits 2nd Tier Major Traits to be swapped to VII or V
Dagger (Main Hand):
Healing Spell to be swapped to Signet of Restoration
Arcane Power Traits 2nd Tier Major Traits to be swapped to XI(if fixed, currently not working) or V
This build mainly focuses on condition damage skills for effects of Burn and Bleed.
This build allows players to enjoy all the weapon types without sacrificing damage from changing to different weapon types, minor tweaks of the Major Traits would be necessary but it will not force players to retrait in order to fully enjoy different weapon types.

When the dev said that its from a boss chest, the immediate thought I had was of the World Event of Temple of Grenth in Cursed Shores, since Grenth is the God of Death.
Are there any other bosses that is related to Death?
It’s said to be a drop from boss chest, but could it be crafted?
Are there any instance of Exotic getting from World Drop that cannot be crafted using the Forge?
hmm… if Foefire’s Essence is using Gift of Light, that requires Gift of Ascalon related to the incident of the Foefire. How about trying Gift of Energy for Volcanus? Since the weapon is based of Elementalist’s summons which every weapon type of the Elementalist’s conjured weapon is a different type of element, or it could be different Lodestones, though I have no idea what the earth type Lodestones would be, since there’s a Earth Shield conjured weapon in the Elementalist’s arsenal.

how about this suggestion?
for bifrost since its rainbows, and staff’s skills no matter the class will be associated with projectiles, why not make it into a random color for all projectiles and effects associating with the skill while using staff?
for example, fireball for Eles would yield random colors everytime u shoot them like Green, Red, Blue.
Consequently this could also be done for Meteor Storm where each fireball that rains down would be randomly colored.
The same concept could be done for staff skills for other classes as well.
Thing about Bifrost is the effects are negligible, no modified effects for skills unlike Twilight or Sunrise, it feels subpar to them, yet considered to be in the same category.

Signet of Restoration currently provides 2 buffs
the normal buff when its not activated and ready to cast
and 1 buff separately when the signet is used. After activation of the signet, when it finish recharging it will grant the player with 2 buffs, the normal buff which heals for 203 hp(amount may vary on different players), and 150 which is the buff while the signet has been activated.

when u cancel it during cast, the skill goes for full recharge which is 24/30 sec instead of going on 4 sec recharge like skills like meteor storm
the glyph of renewal works like this before today’s patch
if u’re in combat, only able to ress downed allies
if u’re out of combat, u will be able to ress defeated(dead) allies
Especially the Arah Story Mode where u fight Zhaitan,
he just hangs on the tower acting pretty and waits for us to blast em with the cannons…
Personally I do wish we had more engaging fights with challenging mechanics

I love dynamic events, especially those that require large of amount of players to complete (e.g. Dragons).
Sadly the only way I can know about the events is when I’m actually close enough to it when its up.
It would be awesome if ANet could provide us with notifications across the world of Tyria when a huge world event is up.
