I’m just curious, was gw2lfg.com ever added into any of these statistics? Have you guys actually LOOKED at the lfg posts on there? I have a guardian, and sometimes it is incredibly difficult to find a group. When I am looking for a pug, I’m not looking to do it with a bunch of inexperienced players so I can teach them the ropes. I teach my guild mates. The way things are getting with dungeons now though, most groups are looking for specific classes/builds/gear setups. Take Arah for example. I don’t want to spend an extra hour just to teach a person that is new to the zone. No one does. I’ve joined more than one group and seen other members get kicked for not being experienced. I’ve also seen more than a few get kicked for not having the “Right gear”. Heck, I’ve seen people get replaced at Simin because they weren’t “good enough”. Do you think that is fun for the person that got kicked? Especially when they might have put 4 hours into that dungeon, then came out of it with 6 or so tokens and a few silver.
Yes I agree there needs to be a good community with content that links people together. However, this is locking people out. I’ve had several people in my guild that just quit the game altogether because of the sheer amount of time it was taking them to get the hang of some mechanics. This in turn makes me feel like I wasted my time, trying to teach them. Granted, it doesn’t take everyone the same amount of time. Some people get things right away, others not so much. I’ll even agree that maybe the game just is not for some people. If they can’t grasp things right away, then maybe they should go somewhere else. Do you guys understand, that is your paycheck taking a hike though? Said person that just left the game because of all these frustrating things, just packed their cash and took it to a different game/company/whatever. I want Anet to thrive, so the game can thrive. Sometimes the “whiners” will have to be compensated also.
Agreed, between DR and all the other issues arising lately, I am seriously contemplating quitting this game. I had a lot of fun, however it seems they keep taking that fun away. This is not what I paid for.
We are currently at 45 active members, looking to reach about 100 or so. Up until today’s patch we had all upgrades aside from Art of War. Currently researching AoW level 3.
Hoping to absorb some more smaller guilds that would like to be able to complete guild missions while still keeping a tighter community. We are not a regular family guild, our guild chat is not policed.
Players are most active between 12pm-2am central time.

I ran this dungeon recently and the sparks would not work correctly. They would hover over their circle, but would not activate. We tried several different things to try and fix this problem, however nothing worked. We ended up having to quit the dungeon after hours of hard work, because of a bug. PLEASE fix this ASAP. I understand that this is not a consistent bug for all instances. But for whatever reason, it happened to us.

I attempted to do this dungeon yesterday. I couldn’t understand what all the fuss was about really. Went into this fight with Simin expecting dps to be really important. We had some awesome dps and I really think we could have done this. However, it seemed to be bugged. We never actually wiped on this fight. But every time the sparks came out, they would just hover over their circles around the statue? Some of them would go in, and the others would just REFUSE to go in. We tried moving around, standing in the circles, dodge rolling, stealthing, everything.
Is there some bug with these sparks? We tried over and over and it seemed totally random when they would go in or would not go in. Again, they’d just float over their circle without actually changing.
I have bad days and I have good days. However I have more bad days than good when it comes to drops. So much so that I very rarely even go to zones anymore. I spend most of my time in dungeons now. Drop rates are worse than crap. The only reason I even run dungeons is for the tokens, so I can get guaranteed loot. Then I just turn around and salvage or mystic forge the items so I can perhaps get a little money.
I do not understand how some people can claim to make 5g an hour doing… anything in this game. On a profitable day of playing 8 freaking hours I make anywhere between 8-14g. That is doing all paths of AC, TA and CoF, as well as fractal daily quests for the first three tiers.
High five! I absolutely hate the current system. I also dislike that I can’t even grind to get the stuff I need for legendary!!!!! Get rid of this BS “Diminishing Returns” system and the crappy RNG for precursors. Just the other day one of my guild members got a precursor to drop. He decided to sell it (Spark) just because of how much money they are worth. Now he can flip that back and forth. He got lucky one time throwing stuff into mystic forge and now he can flip crafted items until the end of time for more.
This is a stupid system. There are tons of unhappy people playing and leaving this game. They cry/scream/plead to you Anet. I have seen so many people complaining about precursors and dungeon DR that it is almost comical. I have also seen forum mods get on here and talk about how the current systems are in place to keep people from exploiting. Which is stupid. Sorry. The people begging you now Anet, are also the people paying for your paycheck. I used to put quite a bit of money into this game. Guess what, I haven’t spent anything since November now. Purely just because there hasn’t even been an attempt to fix some of these issues.
How about we say screw the RNG system of precursors… Then throw money into housing! That sounds like an awesome idea! I would throw tons of money into making a pretty house before I even dreamed of setting all my cash on fire in the mystic forge again.
Just got done trashing over 200 swords into the mystic forge in an attempt to get a precursor. I know that doesn’t even begin to touch what some people have poured in though. I really feel there needs to be some way to get a precursor also. Don’t hand them out for free, but holy crap at least give us some hope.

I received a message back about my ticket that I submitted at 1am regarding my account being locked for gem purchases. That reply was received at 6am this morning. The reply said that someone would be getting with me shortly. It is now currently 5pm. Apparently my version of shortly and yours are two worlds apart, or maybe just 12 time zones who knows. I tried calling the support center for Ncsoft a few minutes ago and got a hold of a guy named Chris that told me he couldn’t do anything for me and that they would be getting to my ticket shortly. -__- I had this problem previously fixed over the phone and it took maybe 2 minutes. Theory goes that you could fix it again. PLEASE fix this or I will be taking my money elsewhere.

I am getting seriously agitated with this. I have bought gems before successfully and now for some reason I cannot purchase any. I had this problem before and was told that my account was locked for some unknown reason. The person I talked to “fixed it for the day” or I’m assuming temporarily gave me rights to spend my money? He also told me to wait at least a few days before I try again. It’s been some time now, tried again, and now I am getting the same failure notice. I sent in a support ticket but it seems the support team is… busy, I’ll go with that. I decided I would post something here, in hopes that I will get a quicker response than I did with my last two tickets. Please help me get this resolved before gem prices change. Thank you.
