Neither of them, as I got Infinite Light. Tops any other sword skin.
That was my train of thought, lol. I thought I wanted Bolt as my final Sword skin, but kitten is Bolt oversized. I hate “thick” weapons. Infinite Light is the most normal looking sword outside of the basic crafts. Long, thin, beautiful.
I’ll admit I am disappointed with the Katana skins that were datamined. I bought Belinda’s Greatsword because I love Katanas because I am a huge fan of Samurai culture and sword play (Especially Iaido), but the Katana skin for Swords is soooooo small. It’s almost half the length of my Infinite Light! So, probably gonna pass on that.
The new Red Curved Sword that was recently datamined looks kinda like a Katana. Might pick that up when it is released. Otherwise I plan on keeping with Infinite Light until I see what other skins are planned.
Or until Anet gives me a Greatsword Specialization for Thief and not a crappy Rifle. >.<
The trick is … you don’t have to go through the camp. You can stroll around the outside to the end flag.
Vukorep, it involves getting stealthed and avoiding patrols as you sneak through a camp full of wandering Charr. You move glacially slow and fail if you get within like 200 feet of a Charr (not literally, but they have a large detection area that isn’t marked with visual aids).
If I’m remembering the heart correctly, the thing that bothered the ever living hell out of me the most was the the detection ranges were circular around the charr, rather than being cone based in front of them. Stealth stuff is fun when there’s reason to the detection, but kitten , their detection range is longer than most enemies’ aggro range. x_x
All I know is the Husk was usually killed first or second of the bunch before all this “NO AOE AT RED” spam started and now it’s either failing or being killed dead last. Coincidence?
Agreed… Seriously, during the first week of Silverwastes, Copper Husk was next to impossible to fail and then what seemed like overnight it became the most likely to fail. People are afraid so afraid to do anything at copper now. It’s really sad. >.<
This is rather disappointing… First year that I’d be able to really enjoy the Wintersday events and it seems like I can’t do anything with a party. I skipped most of the Labyrinthine Cliffs events when I couldn’t join with a party and I will likely do the same if it is so with the Wintersday events. Again, very disappointing that they made this decision. Even more-so with the responses concerning the change.
why in the name of the lord? Can“t you be happy there is at least one thing in abundance in this game?
I main an engineer. Because anet has seen fit to institute profession loot, not only do I have a lower chance at high-value weapons (greatsword, sword, dagger, staff), I also get more leather crap than anything else. You bet your butt I want leather to be worth something.
Agreed. The profession loot for medium classes is rough right now. It’s getting depressing to salvage a full inventory of items and walk away with 5 silk scraps and 40 thick leather. There needs to be either an option to turn off profession loot bias for 80s or give us more use for Leathers. For goodness sake, we need more Bolts of Damask for full ascended medium armor than Elonian Leather Squares.
