Why on earth did you put this change in anet. I Normally purchase a gems with cash and fill out the remainder with gold but without 100 gem option I dont think ill be buying gems anymore.

Why is pve about finishing the fastest? sounds more like a boring game to me.

Boring for me is when it takes longer to finish something that could have been done at lot faster.

Boring for me is sacrificing fun playstyles because of min/maxing for a tiny edge.

The edge can be way above “tiny” if all the members in the group are into max dps standard. Gw2 pve is very easy where any build is viable. Just run whatever build and weapon set you enjoy and as long you are not affecting the whole group with constantly getting downed then you are good, unless……you run into a group that requires all zerk type of players or any other specific criteria.

I agree with LightningBlaze as long as a build is capable of completing what ever content your doing and your party doesn’t mind it then its viable.

If you do run this build I recommend using a pistol in your main hand in your first set and a pistol in your off hand in your second set so you only need to have two pistols instead of 4.

My S/S & LB build was almost untouched except for a minuscule change to the amount of adrenaline gained from combustive shot.

Well folks, as some of you know, I leveled up 4 characters to 80 and then pretty much quit the game. I recently came back to my Warrior which has been my favorite character even though I couldn’t find a way to make her a decent roamer. Anyways, I found this amazing S/S + LB condition build and thus far, it’s freaking amazing!

The main point is (like all condition builds) to simply stack the “DoTs” on the target and then watch them die. The nice trick with the warrior is that you’re still getting nice crit damage as well. Well, below is the build I’m using and found it to work rather well.

What do you all think of this?

Not sure I agree on Opportunist. The only immobilize you have is on a 25s cooldown and you’re already getting 30s of Fury from Signet of Rage.

Heheheheh thats my build that I posted on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxBU1sgjtBc) back in august nice to see people liking it. You have another immobilize on your sword as a burst skill so you can actually use Opportunist to get permanent fury which is very nice to have

That was tough getting all those hidden locations done :O I think I went abit stir crazy from the amount of time we spent in that zone

You missed a secret in your video. One of the three secrets around the raccoon doesn’t count, instead you have to get in secret #6 and throw a bomb to open a hole to a chest (also necessary for bauble master).

Yeah he mentions me going down that hole to open it but he forgot to insert the footage I recorded of me going down it :O. We have basically spent every waking moment in the Super Adventure box world 2 which has addled our brains abit. I will go post it into his vid for him as an annotation. Thanks for pointing that out as I was trying to tell him that.

Got the Nunchaku, Torch upgrade, Potion upgrade, Whistle, Shovel upgrade, Glove, Heart, Wallet upgrade. That’s 8, but it does say I have 9/10. Really not sure where I got the 9th upgrade. I’ve also gotten the first song at the cabin you buy the whistle at (World 2 – Zone 1: 1, 2, 3) and the one in the caves by the Raccoon Kingpin (World 2 – Zone 2: 3, 3, 2, 3, 3, 1). Not sure if these in some way or form have counted or if I forget a upgrade I got at some point.

There’s also that container thing, that sure looks like an upgrade, that KaitoAkuma posted some screenshots of above, but also unable to figure out a way to open that blocked opening. Perhaps it could be related to the third song, not sure. I tried to Push the toad behind it in hopes that it would suck me through the wall, but it always resets before I get it that far, so I guess it’s not how you’re intended to do that. Tried to use all available items on it as well. Also tried bombing every single panel of wall in there, the roof above it, the wall panels outside. Tried to whip it through the wall(s). Looked for secrets as far down as it’s possible to go below it. Just a big fat “Nope!” to that, no idea on how to get to it.

The symbol makes me think it’s related to the glove, though it’s more like a clenched fist with a arrow pointing downwards, not really sure what that’s about either. I guess it could be something we can’t get before a later World comes out with a Glove upgrade.

The arrow pointing downwards on it is the letter “P” in new krytan. The wooden walls normally around have the letter “W” in new krytan which I think stands for wisdom since the Gauntlet that breaks them is called Gauntlet of Wisdom. I think the upgraded glove will possibly be called Gauntlet of Power.

I did it a few hours ago using a condition damage build with rabid gear on my warrior. Its hard but if you keep the cripple off you which she applys in melee range you should be fine.

While playing for points and just killing people is an entirely valid style of play, at the end of the day, it’s called Southsun Survival, not Southsun Deathmatch. Unfortunately GW2 doesn’t have all the convenience in the world when it comes to making videos like this, it just takes some creative thinking.

Yeah getting into first person was very hard when I was doing the filming. I overcame the issue though by using some in game items and from there it took a couple of practice runs to do it well enough so that I couldn’t be seen while filming. If you look closely you can see some particle effects which are a side effect of getting into that almost first person view. Hopefully one day Arenanet decide to release some tools to help with creating videos like this one here and our other propaganda vid @ https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/livingworld/cutthroat/The-Dark-Side-of-Ellen-Kiel/first#post2448110 as it was really fun to create them and I think it would help us in seeing some other videos come out from the community.

It was great fun helping make the video and cant wait to see what the rest of the community creates as well

I’ve had a custom arena since they were in beta and one of the things that I have always wanted was the ability to change it from the standard Spvp/Tpvp game type to one of the Mini-games such as keg brawl or snowball mayhem. For the Seasonal/live event type mini games It would be ok with them only being available during those events.
