(increase 30 on toug because of infusions on ascended armor)
- Crit Damage: Less Crit. Damage (57%) I know, but with the Crikitten erf on next month, I think this is enough for me. With more power, I could sacrifice the critical damage.
- Runes: I like the Hoelbrak for more Might, Might duration and -cond duration on me. But boon duration is nice too, but ANET said that in the next patch use 6 runes of the same type will be more beneficial than different runes. So, I recommend to wait for changes on runes before invest much gold on this.
- Sigils: change your sigils, Sigil of Battle is amazing for elem and with Renewing Stamina trait, I dont think that Sigil of Energy is necessary.

Indeed, I fought 2 engineers (they’re are friends), one power (I mentioned this before) and one condition. The full dire condition was easiest to fight, because a lot of people (me too) are running melandru, -cond duration foods and cond remover skills or traits. So, I don’t having much trouble fighting conditions builds atm.

Hi, he used grenades. Equip: PVT (soldier). More than 24k hp and 2,5k power (2,7k with bloodlust).
Last night I fought a power engineer on wvw. He invited me to party and explained a little bit of his build. Traits: 30/0/10/20/10. Gear: PVT. The result: I couldn’t take 40% of his HP and his hits hurt me a lot. In 5 duels, I lost all (I was dueling with my warrior). I tried all my builds: full tank, full DPS and hybrid.. I don’t know this build, but maybe you can search for this one, it’s very solid.
This is funny: I’m not a great player, but when I play warrior, I can kill any class (some it’s hard).. of course I die too (a lot lol). But, the most funny is: when I play with my elementalist, engineer or necro, especially the elementalist, I can destroy A LOT of warrios in WvW and sPvP. Like I said: I’m not a great player. This is more a L2P than a “Balance”. I think the hammer damage was exaggerated and ANet fixed this. Ok, everyone is happy now. People have to understand that some traits/skills are nice on paper (the numbers of warriors are great), the theory is cool, but applying it in game is more complex than just theorycrafting. If you look the numbers of my elementalist build you’ll laugh (and I’ll cry), but in game I do well with him.. Some warrior abilities are nice on theory, but just don’t work (this happen with every class). Ok, you can still QQ all day and I’ll still training to give you more reasons to QQ about my class LOL. Ty
Thanks for sharing your build ThunderCat, this is what I’m looking for! I’ll just make a little personal change (runes), but in general I’ll not touch it!
My advice is to get both cond and power builds. I have a pure condition gear (full rabid) P/P and a power (zerker) SD rifle build, I can diversify my playstyle when some get bored. I played cond for a long time and now SD is my main build. Probabily in next month cond will be.. lol IMO, this is the best of GW2, you don’t need to reroll another class to change the playstyle.

- At least run every maps and get some WP to help in guild events.

- Pistols or Pistol/Shield it’s not the only way go! You can go Rifle for sure. Buy every weap (Eng just have 3, it’s cheap) and leave on your bag, you’ll use on diferent situation. You can get your gear in dungeons, Trading Post, Karma.. Choose your stats and search how to get here:

- IMO, go zerker for pve and fo WvW try both: Power and Cond builds. Test the builds in sPvP before buy your gear for WvW, just to check if you’ll like the playstyle. But remember, some builds I’ll be more effective on PvP or WvW.. The PvP test it’s not about the effective (kill or survive), but if you like the playstyle and how the build “work”.

IMO, go full zerker. I’ve running a similar build with Rampager armor and Zerker Trinkets, but.. The damage you can get from a full zerker Eng is so high, especially with grenades. If you go zerker, you can try other DPS version of Eng with Static Discharge (Tools II) and Rifle, the damage it’s amazing and it’s popular on forum. Like I said, this is my opinion.
I got my zerke gear, just need ascended trinkets and runes. What do you think about this build for WvW?
Does not have as much DPS like builds posted above, but is not as fragile because of runes of Melandru.
If anyone can give me some advices, I appreciate it.

This build is viable on pve/dungeons?
In PVE, a condition build is viable?
I think 40-45% is fine, if u have high critical damage use precision stacks
