I’ve somewhat grown tired of the game, and no new content has been added since fractals/southson in late 2012.

I am not referring to temporary content, like dragon bash, etc.

Any new maps coming?
Any new dungeons coming?

Buy gems, convert them to gold. It’s the only way to farm now.

Nerf events, make them harder, check
Nerf loot again, check
Nerf Plinx, check
Spawn Champions near vendors during downtime, check
Nerf events so they barely ever spawn, check

stats are incorrect in stat window, and not getting extra time

is this even acknowledged? my whole build is this. or should i waste gold on a new exotic set of armor/runes, and find a new build.

so it looks like completing the puzzle doesn’t count. you have to be in a certain spot by the entrance (positioned just right).

Nup, I was able to sell a legendary well before this patch.

Also, tool-tip says soul-bound on equip, right after forge.

Spent 75 at halloween, never again buying gems. Had I gotten at least “something”, i would have been more inclined to buy gems again.

In a 400 player guild, it is still tough to find a group of players at my level, without having them scale back to progress me, or having me scale back to bring others forward a level.

Easy Fix:

Let’s assume Fractals are broken into 3 tiers:
Group A – Level 1-9
Group B – Level 10-19
Group C- Level 20-29

Allow players to join all level parties within their group.

For example: The following players can all join Group A but not B or C.
Player 1 is Lvl 9
Player 2 is Lvl 2
Player 3 is Lvl 7
Player 4 is Lvl 6
Player 5 is Lvl 6

Fractal difficulty will be 9 (highest member in party).

Upon completion of the fractal, the reward table increases by +1.

So…

Player 1 is Lvl 9 (rewarded 10, allowed to move to next tier)
Player 2 is Lvl 2 (rewarded 3 )
Player 3 is Lvl 7 (rewarded 8 )
Player 4 is Lvl 6 (rewarded 7 )
Player 5 is Lvl 6 (rewarded 7 )

This method would eliminate the map chat SPAM, make it easier to find a party within public AND guild.

You still need to complete 9 sets, to move to next tier. No single player has an adv in progress or loot (other than RNG, but that’s another story).

I don’t mind one shot tactics in a dungeon, if there is also a way to skillfully avoid it.

everything is account bound including mats, gifts, badges, etc, except for the bloodstone shard (200 skill points), and the precursor (if you equip it).

I put a fire sigil in my Sunrise and it still lets me put it in the mystic forge with other ingredients for eternity (dont have twilight yet tho)

Would love a post with less stats showcasing which world has the most players on them, and more posts on what is being done about the issues:

1)Imbalanced servers – current score on my server is 52,000 to 6,000 to 1,000

2)Orb Hackers (every week for the past month (or longer))

Can anyone confirm if this is related to your lvl?

Lvl 80 – 2 runs – 7 badges, 15 badges
Lvl 2 – 2 runs – 3 badges, 2 badges

Is this truly random and coincidance? Or based on lvl?

I don’t wish to waste queue space (or waste my own time), with alts if that’s the case.

basically you need huge samples. 1000 samples really isn’t enough, to make an accurate assumption. Even if its random, there has to be a probability.

personally, i got destroyed crafting my first bunch of clovers. everyone else, is getting 1/3-1/4, mine was 1/8-1/10 in my first 75 attempts. But I am taking everyone’s word for it that it evens out.

Currently only using it for the bonus, as it misses most of the time.

Strill, I’ve tried your method 30 times.

Failed everytime, with BIG groups, trying to DPS the boss the whole time.

The one time, that’s been successful for me, was focusing the mini-bosses, and with a smaller group.

As far as reviving, maybe, maybe not. OUR group kept everyone on their feet, 80% of the time, and we had time to spare. (over a minute).

wow, i’ve seen plenty of bots, but nothing like that. that’s pretty bad.

IMO, put BOT at the beginning of your topic title, and they “might” see it.

@pennry: yes it is basic, but on my server, not many listen, and I’ve seen tons of posts of “Can’t beat Balth”, “balth is too hard”, “balth is bugged”, “wtf I want a refund for this game”.

This is for them, obv, not you.

@Zelk: Honestly, I can’t usually get one started either. There’s usually a small unorganized group making a valiant attempt. In my case, I honestly believe, people saw a commander and followed, and it went from there. Can’t say for sure. But it was one of the smaller groups I’ve seen run the event.

On Tarnished Coast.

No, its again contested (completed last night), but hope to reorganize another assault tonight or tomorrow night. (to finish my clovers) !

So after weeks of running this event & failing hard, or event bugging out, finally got my first shot at the Balthazar vendor.

The assault was lead by a commander (cant remember his name, started with an O) on Tarnished Coast. It was bugged on the first try, so we lured the champ giant over to the npc’s, and they were quickly dispatched, thus resetting the event. After securing, the south and central invasions, we head to the pact rally point, hoping for better luck this time. Wow, we made it up the hill, and to the temple with “just” enough morale.

We had a lot less people than usual, so I figured it would be another fail, for sure. But Alas, he was defeated not only in less than 10 minutes, but less than 9.

As far as strategy, we focused the Champion, and veterans immediately when they spawned, ignoring the great god himself completely. Yes a lot of people went down to Balth’s elite attacks. Everybody revived everybody. (not sure, but i don’t think anyone re-spawned and ran back). Once the champs and vets were gone, you could visually see Balths health dropping fast, with focused dps.

Great success.

Wish i didn’t have to do it again, didn’t have enough Karma for my clovers first time

So in a nutshell:

a) focus the champs/vets first
b) revive everyone possible.
c) still the toughest boss in the game, IMO.

I agree. Been gooooogling this event for awhile now, hoping to see a response about it

I have never been able to do this event, the whole time I’ve had the game. I check everyday. Either not enough people (fails) or bugged. (Tarnished Coast)

No Ghostly spiders spawned, all loggers are already dead – cant complete.

Last 2 Renowns for 100% Map completion.

2nd character, just want a leveling boost

I’ve already done cooking, used trade post, and it cost me around 2-3 gold, but I had alot left over and resold it, plus crafted foods and got almost all of it back, somehow.

Seems like other crafts will be way more. Is this the case? Im not spending 10g for leveling.

They changed it because people were exploiting karma for gold using the vendors. They actually banned alot of people for this.

But agreed, they SHOULD let you know that its now soulbound.

Well they just took Trade Post offline. Hopefully they acknowledged and are fixing it!

1) Bought Gems
2) Recieved Gems
3)Converted Gems To Gold
4)Bought 3-4g worth of crafting material
5)Took the coins, no purchase confirmation, no items, no refund.

Trade Post worked fine for me, even after update until today.
