After how many issues there were with the Halloween event I was hoping there wouldn’t be nearly as many with this one. Sad to say there are even more…. And making this a very limited timed event makes matters worse as a large portion were stuck with un-finishable quest lines. The dedicated player base is paying for this one with frustration while the new invites are seeing how badly things have been run. This event so far isn’t a great representation of what GW2 Events can/should be.

Just trying to get a straight answer on this one. Despite that Ellen Kiel is still there and says for you to check the shore for debris, you can’t. So despite all of the bugs phase 1 caused, and the promise to keep it going, is Phase 1 now over?

Soloed em as a Warrior. Was easier then I thought it would be, but those crows were annoying. I got a bunch of junk. Does MK have a chance to drop any of his gear? Or the chest?

If you do Arah before the final personal story Victory or Death, will this mess something up or make me miss anything? Will I have to do the Dungeon again once I finally get to Victory or Death to complete the personal story correctly?

Speaking of CoE and the shaking… Just recently ran this with my group, and we all thought at the end we would have to escape the facility before it ripped itself apart. We were all both disappointed & relieved that this was not the case. Was a big escape sequence ever planned?

I’ve read that the when fighting the Eye of Zhaitan he mentions Forgal. Is this true, and if so which mission is it? (since it splits into two paths). Also, are there any other missions that mention Forgal? Hoping that he doesn’t become another character that is setup, and then forgotten.

Checking the wiki for allies to see if certain ones return in later missions. (I like reoccurring characters) It looks like Tegwen is in Through the Looking Glass, but falls in battle at the end. However she then reappears in a mission later called Marching Orders. Is the wiki correct in stating this, or was this an oversight in killing her and then needing her later for the sake of the personal story?

I agree that the price of a key is a bit too high. I have dozens of chests just sitting in my bank that I have no intention of ever opening because of this (and I’m sure many others do as well). The trade off of whats in the chest to the cost of a key makes the whole idea of the Black Lion Chests not worth it.

If the cost of the keys is not going down, then I would suggest that it could be added in as a rare drop or as a rare reward for map completion. I would also suggest upping whats in the actual chest, possibly some better scaled loot or bulk ingredients.

I only have one at the moment, and that is the cost of waypoint travel. After lv30 it gets ridiculous to go anywhere. Cost should be based on distance, not your current level. Just because I’m a higher level then when I started doesn’t mean I have more coin to burn, usually it’s quite the opposite.

Completely agree. The characters met in the opening part of your personal story disappear far too quickly and have no connection to the rest of the story, even when there seems to be logical points for them to return.

For example, I went the human/nobility/vigil route on my first character. There were a few times where Lord Faren could have made some kind of appearance, given that he is your best friend. After the trial, he is just dropped from the story making his appearance feel almost like a pointless filler character. You lose the sense of connection right away to now only him, but the original path you take after Defending Shaemoor. It would be great if in a future update or DLC your personal story is addressed more.
