And also: You are tired. You are true of heart!”

I’ve seen all of these, as I’m sure many have. None of them are a clock. I think the main problem with many of the focus skins is that they are just a hunk of something unidentifiable with a handle. Most of the better skins are actual items.
Besides, this is a suggestion, not a “Where can I find a steampunk focus?” I simply said it would especially fit in with the latest steampunk stuff, but not exclusively.

Mini versions of the kitty golems from the Uncatergorized Fractal.
Mini Snuggles
Mini Mister Mittens
Mini Professor Mew
Mini Baron von Scrufflebutt
Maybe even a Mini Old Tom
I think an oversized pocketwatch, maybe with clockwork details, would make a great focus, especially to match some of the newer steampunk stuff.
Yes! This is brilliant!
By the way, I decided to transmute my Sunrise with the stats I wanted.
If I don’t transmute, and transmuted weapons don’t get ascended, I have to go about getting myself an ascended weapon with the stats I want and transmute it to my legendary.
If I don’t transmute, and transmuted weapons do get ascended, I still have to get an ascended weapon and transmute it to my Legendary, and I’ll be kicking myself for not transmuting.
If I do transmute, and transmuted weapons do not get ascended, again, I have to get an ascended weapon and transmute it.
If I do transmute, and transmuted weapons do get ascended, then I win.
So, if I don’t transmute, I’m guaranteed to have to farm a new ascended weapon. The only difference is you may have a short period when ascended weapons are released that you don’t have the highest tiered weapon. I decided that it’s better to have the stats I want now, and possibly have a period where I have the exotic stats I want while working to get the ascended stats I want, than to continue with stats I don’t want, just to keep having stats I don’t want while I work to get ascended stats I do want.
Hopefully that made sense.
If you transmute a Lendary, it displays as Purple, both in tooltip and linked. The quality, however, reads as “Transmuted” rather than “Legendary”. It does not take on the suffix of any sigil you apply. A transmuted Sunrise or Twilight will not currently go into the forge with Dust or Philosopher Stones.
As for Ascended, I’ve heard no word about whether transmuting a Legendary will prevent it from auto-ascending when weapons are released, but the fact that transmuted legendaries can be mixed with exotic weapons in the forge leads me to believe that the game still registers them as exotic somewhere, so they may not initially. This could be fixed by the time ascended weapons are released, or it could be fixed shortly after; it’s hard to say.
I have Sunrise and I have the badge on my character screen as well as a count on the Legendary Collector achievement. I don’t know if you will get these if you equip after transmuting, so I would suggest equipping your new Legendary at least once before transmuting.
Anet should hire Shriketalon.
Still looking for potential guilds.
Lol I’m going to need a harder sell than that.
To guild recruiters: please respond if you are actually interested in my membership. I’m not looking to be a boost to someone’s numbers. If I get a guild invite before you’ve even talked to me, you’re probably not the guild for me.
Additionally, please do not use this thread to copy and paste your guild blurb; again, if you do this you are probably not the guild I’m looking for.
Looking for a fun and friendly guild with skilled and experienced players. I mostly PvE, have a legendary, and love dungeons with fun people (I’ll say up front I’m not a huge fan of shortcuts or exploits in them, though). I enjoy hopping into WvW now and then, as well as sPvP, though I’d probably do a lot more sPvP if someone were to take me under their wing and train me to be awesome. Regular guild events are a must as well, though I left before they were introduced so I don’t know much about them except that I need to catch up on commendations.
I played the game since release, but took a 2 month hiatus. I used to be pretty hardcore, and have a lot of play hours logged, but I’d like to keep my playtime on the casual side now.
Hoping to find a medium-sized guild, with at least 20 active players, but not huge either. 100 members or less is kind of a rough estimate, but quality is more important than quantity.
I’m currently on Kaineng, and due to the gem cost I’m somewhat reluctant to move, though for the right guild I could be persuaded.
Fun times are being had!
We’ve grown a lot! Come check us out at http://wild-things.enjin.com
Server: Stormbluff Isle
Focus: PvX
Website: http://wild-things.enjin.com
We are The Wild Things. We play this game to have FUN! Remember that word, because it’s important. We try to never take ourselves or this game too seriously, but whether it’s PvE, WvW, or sPvP, our goal is to approach everything with a whirlwind of exuberance and chaos that can only result in Fun Times. Among us, we find that we have the most fun in a tight-knit but highly active community. Rather than being in a powerhouse guild where any of us is just a single cog in the grand machine, we are growing this guild to be just large enough to provide the variety and activity that our members need, but still small enough that everybody knows your name. If you think this sounds like the right fit for you, let us know and we’ll be glad to welcome you home.
Feel free to send an in-game whisper to me or Soylentgreen.
Details:
Focus: While most of us do a lot of PvE, especially dungeons, we also do our fair share of WvW and sPvP, as we like to mix it up.
VOIP: Mumble
Timezone: While most of us are in North America, many of us keep odd hours, and we welcome players from all around
Language: English
Age: 18+, mature players, adult language and humor

Stormbluff Isle, uncontested as of this posting.
Thanks to LoneWolfie for the contest. It was generous and kind, and I think gaming needs more people like this, though he’s proof that they’re around.
I’m a little skeptical of the hours limit, because I don’t know if anyone who’s logged less than 500 hours could be near to any of the other legendary requirements and are more likely to sell it. Also, it’s a difficult to assume what those with lots of hours logged do with their time. I, for example, stay logged in while I work so my guildies can contact me if needed, and when I am online I split my time between farming and running dungeons and other things with guildies. I am certain I will never have enough gold to buy a Dawn unless the prices decrease dramatically (as in under 100g), because a fair number of my resources go to my guildies and their legendary progress. So I rely on the hope of a lucky drop. I’m sure it’ll happen eventually, so I’m not worried.
On the other hand, I understand that many people who have too much time on their hands will in fact have enough money to just outright buy it. And I can appreciate LoneWolfie’s effort to encourage people to do things other than just play this game.
Thanks again, LoneWolfie, for the contest. Grats to Ten, and best of luck to all who are working towards Sunrise.
Thank you for your generosity, friend. Good luck to all.

Lol. I <3 you Robert Hrouda.
Auesis, in my experience the golems, by default, seem to head towards the console if no one else has garnered their threat—er…their hugs and adoration. So someone has to grab their attention in order to redirect them from the console.
I couldn’t find this by searching, so I hope I’m not reposting an old subject.
My Mesmer’s clones do not have a World Completion badge, while my actual character does, marking him as the real Slim Shady while in WvW. Not cool.
I’ve got other people telling me for sure Master’s is better. So I’m hoping someone in the know can say something officially since there’s so much conflicting information out there.
I’m hoping I can get someone to say for sure, as anecdotal evidence has seemed to swing in both directions from what I’ve heard.
According to in-game tool tips, the Black Lion Salvage Kit has a 10% chance for rare mats while the Master’s has a 25% chance. Is this correct? I understand that the main benefit of the Black Lion is that it guarantees upgrade salvage, but the wiki says it also gives the “best chance of quality material returns” on the Trading Company page. Which truly gives better chance at rare mats?
