Does nobody care?
I just noticed that a shield floats behind the back when equipped, instead of being carried on the back in a realistic way. Also, it floats next to the arm when wielded, instead of being held in a realistic way.
I’m not sure if it’s a bug or that the appropriate content hasn’t been added yet, but it has been noticed.
I support this completely.
Misconceptions :-P.
Could you elaborate? What have I misunderstood?
You are correct, excuse me. I’ve realized that you can walk. This topic can be closed.
You can walk, it’s just not bound to anything by default.
Really? Well, then this topic can be closed lol.
I’m fairly sure I’ve seen players walking.
Misconceptions :-P.
Introduction
At present, the only way of moving your character, is by running. The game lacks the possibility for playing characters to walk, while non-playing characters can both run and walk. This short topic hopefully points out that the game should have this simplistic ability.
Guild Wars 2 is very realistic
The fact that a sensible game like Guild Wars 2 does not contain the ability for characters to walk causes the game to be a little less realistic. To some, the walking ability is seen as a feature of minor, if not no importance, and this is comprehensible. However, many do see the feature as a must-have for the game because it simply belongs to the wondrous Guild Wars 2.
Controls
The contemporary keyboard controls for movement are: Q, W, E, A, S, D, up, down, left, right, R, V and Num Lock (for all the controls, click here). Now, there should be a switch-system for running and walking in the following manner: Shift + Q, W, E, A, S, D, up, down, left or right should switch from running mode to walking mode, and vice versa. V and Num Lock (dodge) should be disabled while a character is in walking mode.
This was it. Whether you support or not, I thank you for reading .
P.S. If there is a reason why this feature isn’t added and you happen to know it, let me know.
I’ve got it. Thank-you all very much! Sometimes simple things can be difficult.

Ok, so why can I only craft the simple mighty seeker’s boots while I have a mighty jute which is needed for the fine mighty seeker’s boots? It only allowed me to craft the simple seeker’s boots using a vial of weak blood while I have all the necessary items to craft fine mighty seeker’s boots.

I want to craft fine mighty seeker’s boots with +3 attack bonus, but I can’t figure out how to do this. This is how far I’ve gotten:
Became a leatherworker;
Acquired a sufficient amount of rawhide leather sections and spools of jute thread.
I’m currently at a leatherworking station. I tried dragging the rawhide leather sections into the discovery panels to refine them into stretched rawhide leather squares, but this didn’t work.
Help please.
How are jute scraps acquired?
Alright, I am looking at the wiki right now and starting to understand. I looked there before, but for some reason I couldn’t find the information that I need. Thank-you; I’ve added you.
My elementalist just recently reached level 10 and I want to craft light armor for it. I went to a tailor and became a novice tailor and I have no clue what I have to do next. I checked out a tailoring station, but this did not make me understand crafting any more. Which items are needed? And when I gather them, what’s next?

You get a dye that you consume by using an unidentified one. After you’ve used the identified dye, you can choose it from the button over your head/helm slot in “H”.
In the future, you may get more help faster by posting it in Player Helping Player as a question thread.
Right, the Toggle Dye Mode button. Thank-you.
I just found an unidentified dye and consumed it, but nothing changed. Perhaps I haven’t finished the dying process or something is wrong?
I’m guessing it’s the same reason there are no image signatures.
So that mods don’t have to police the images.
You have a good point there. But, do you not think that this should be possible in some manner?
Hello everyone,
The first thing I was curious about here at the forums, was if we could add an avatar; this isn’t possible (yet?). For the ones that do not know what a forum avatar is: it’s an image uploaded by a player that is displayed at every post in the forums (usually displayed at the top-left); you can compare it to a signature, but then as an image displayed on-top or below a player’s display name.
So, I suggest the addition of the forum avatar. I believe that I speak on behalf of most players if I say that this feature would make the forums complete, without doubt.
