These sets looks so cool! First we get the awesome Aetherblade armor sets, and now these. Hopefully they keep coming!

I absolutely love playing on this map. The fights at the Hammer can be the most exciting and rewarding!

As someone who tries to help new players get involved in PvP, i’m excited to be able to have the resources to make quality guides. I can’t wait to see what come of you are able to show off. If you’re new to PvP, hopefully this will make the transition a lot easier!

It’s all about team play and peeling, and saving your fears so that you can use the time to re position. They were also running double ele, so they had a ton of heals!

Due to the time that it takes to put these together, i’m only going to focus on the top 3 teams per tournament, unless a certain build needs mentioning.

Not being able to play TPVP til level 10 is a pretty good idea. You can do that pretty fast, but would at least give you a basic understanding of the game.

These are great ideas. I would love to be able to set up a tournament lobby, and worry less on micromanaging everything.

Thanks for the great feedback guys. I’ve been trying extremely hard to work on my game knowledge. I try and play 4-8 hours a day, and I have been rotating classes every couple of days, just to help me learn their skills/traits/playstyle. I believe that to cast this game competitively, I think you also need to be able to play this game semi-competitively. I am working extremely hard to get to that level.

Today was the first real tournament that I have been able to cast, and I am working very kitten improving, so I can help to bring quality content to this game.

Again, I really do appreciate the feedback, and I want you to know that I will try to apply any constructive criticism.

Voice chat would be amazing. Or even voice macros like the Hi-rez games (smite/tribes)

They already announced that they are going to add this feature. Hopefully soon!

I think they should go back to their GW1 model. Where you have a PVP only client, and charge 15-20 dollars for it.

The invite list is up to date. If you don’t have an invite, you might have been capped out on guilds (5 guild max).

It was an exciting day for GW2Esports. I can’t wait to see it get bigger and bigger.

This game still has insane players, including a bunch of great players from launch. Streaming just isn’t a huge thing right now but hopefully that changes soon.

I use that term very loosely right now. They might not make money from playing now, but they have the highest chance if it becomes an Esport =P These guys are either really high on the leaderboards, have tons of experience, or on a well known team.

A whole new ELO/League/MMR system would be fantastic. With most games switching to/or already have league(Sc2/COD/LoL) it would be really nice to see that in GW2 with both a solo/team Q.

But for now, if they added in MMR loss over time, or after inactivity, that would be a nice band-aid.

Call of Duty is a rather large Esport at the moment. It has a very similar playstyle to GW2 IMO.

I would love to see something like this. I would be happy to help in any way, and if it goes through I will promote it the best a possible. I would also be willing to donate money towards prizes, if we can get people signed up.

I would really like Guildwars 2 PvP to become more popular and competitive. I think the game play and features of this game are amazing, and I had some ideas on how to increase the popularity and make more money doing it.

A free to play version of this game could really pump some life into GW2.
*F2P Only versions of Heart of the Mist.
*Can’t rank up, or unlock new armor sets.
*Has no access to tournaments.
*Maybe F2P only Hot Join room.

Cheaper PvP only Client
*20 dollar price tag
*Full PvP experience.
*40 dollar upgrade to PvE if they change their mind.

New Gem Store Items

I am actually quite the sucker for micro transactions. I currently own all the armor skins, and the new weapon skins that can be used in PvP. I personally have spent over 1000USD on games like League of Legends(Slightly ashamed). I know many other people that have as well. Over 15 TIMES THE AMOUNT OF A STANDARD GAME. Which is quite ridiculous, but could help make you more money to fund more updates.

Things you could add
*More armor/weapon skins(Maybe some more throwbacks to GW1, I would love some chaos axes.)
*Pro team finishers(Amusing that tournaments go well for this game, it would be need for me to drop a Team Paradigm finisher on someone.
*Spell Effects(This is a big MAYBE, and i’m not even sure it would be possible with the coding. But having different looking backpack kits for my engineer, or making my guardians spells red. That would be pretty neat.)

My hope is that this would pump in more people to play Guildwars 2, pump more money into updates and events(Hopefully Esports!).

More people playing, would lead to more people watching tournament streams, which could lead to higher commercial revenue.

A F2P PvP model could even encourage people into buying the game for PvE. Arenanet also did a PvP only model for Guildwars 1, which would have worked for me, since after 300 hours of play, I haven’t even touched PvE.

In closing, I love Guildwars 2 game play, and I would love to see more people playing it! Also, if you make micro transactions, I will probably buy them =[
