Formed at the release of the game in 2012, the Dolyak Defense Division [ÆGIS] is a well-rounded and competitive-yet-casual Guild driven to explore and conquer the various challenges that the second installment of Guild Wars has to offer. Our main selling point is that we’re good at what we do, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. While we take pride in our achievements and maintain a healthy dose of confidence, we don’t let it get to our heads; we play the game to have fun. The glory and loot are the welcome byproducts. If that sounds like you, by all means, read on.
(re)Formed, as most guilds will at some point, from bits and pieces of previous guilds and friends’ lists, [ÆGIS] has a diverse roster, spanning several continents and timezones. Rather than spreading us thin, this enables [ÆGIS] to maintain a wide presence, allowing us to accommodate players from both the US and EU, and keep a good overview throughout the ups and downs of World versus World in the PvP department.
Though tight-knit in terms of camaraderie and commitment, we’re an open-minded group, which welcomes new players and new ideas alike. We don’t like the limitations of set-in-stone hierarchies, preferring to operate something of a meritocracy in regard to the day-to-day running of the guild. If you’ve ever joined one (and we have), you’ll know there are guilds out there that put new members on an (unspoken) trial period. [ÆGIS] prefers a different approach. If you’ve got an idea, suggestion, or just a random thought, you’ll not only be free, but welcome, to voice it in orange chat or on the forums.
Inevitably, we’ll come to that point where you’re wondering what the heck it is we actually do on Guild Wars 2. We’ve hinted at it a little. The short answer is easy: have fun. The slightly longer answer is general PvE progression, dungeon runs, and more than a generous dollop of PvP, primarily in the form of World versus World. Whether you’re stuck on something in PvE and need someone to unstuck you, or you feel like being that one group in WvW that consistently fights uphill battles and wins, or you’re simply looking for that one group to share in fights and bask in the glory that is SPvP; we’ve got what you need, and then some.
What is it we ask from our members? Not much aside from the obvious. We boast a drama-free roster and intend to keep it that way. And we like to see people online every now and again.

I thought that I was just bugged and I was also wondering why I kept jumping through the cracked window and for some reason the jump would fail and I’d be ported back to the start. I even went on all my characters of different races to see if there was a difference.
Then I found this video
Turns out this bug has happened before, just not as widespread. Short term fix is described in the video.
tl;dr skip to 1:20 on the video (aka, jump into the wall that comes AFTER the clock face breaks)

Mini Zuzu, Cat of Darkness appears in-game as “Mini Zuzu, Cat of Darkness” instead of just “Zuzu, Cat of Darkness”.
This problem persists with the Avian minis as well (Owl and Raven) and perhaps certain other minis.
It would be nice to see the minis maintain the same naming convention throughout, just like how the Mini Clockheart appears as simply “Clockheart”.

I can actually try to activate a skill, sit and count to 100 and my character STILL wont react.
Chat still works just fine though. FPS remains at 47.

I have been having the same issue as above.
There has been a consistent appearance of unbearable skill lag and rubberbanding when encountering enemies (player or AI). This issue has only affected me since the update at the end of the GW2 WvW Season 1.
All chat channels remain unaffected. The lag simply affects weapon swaps, movement, skill usage, salvaging, equipping and opening any panels. Today it took on average 30 seconds for my display to catch up to the actual actions being performed by my character, of which I have no clue as to what they were due to the lag in skill activation. This issue has affected me on empty PvE maps, all forms of SPvP, and especially in WvW.
The lag only seems to occur during evening UTC (begins just after 6pm and carries on til about 10.30pm). Other times my connection is stable and there is no perceivable lag.

We have undergone heavy re-structuring and are looking to build the guild back up. Currently 25 active members.
We are PvX, looking to expand on our WvW presence in Blackgate. We maintain an objective-oriented strike force structure.
Peak times for the guild are weekends, and everyday between 6pm UTC (1pm EST) until 11pm UTC (6pm EST).
Members are mostly transatlantic (EU and EST) but with a fair spread across the globe.
Other details:
- Consistent Guild bonuses
- Unlocked Guild Bounty and Guild Trek (now working on Guild Rush)
- Regular PvE (for the necessary things like golds and gears)
- Participation in tPvP (we like that stuff, organized teams make us happy)
