Bit of an update on this build, Ive been using it since I hit 80 on my druid and unlocked everything.
Im still in love, I find myself inadvertently camping in shortbow but Im having an absolute blast.
I traded out the jump pack ability for sun spirit for some extra condition pressure and overall i gotta say: I love it!

Dagger/dagger venomshare caltrop thief and a
Trap Druid

Im curious, if i wanted to optimize a condition dealer that’ll excel in both solo play and group content what should I try for?

Asura shortbow has that, granted its super spedup but you can see that it gets pulled back. Heck he even reaches back to the quiver (if you have one as your backpack) for another arrow

Morbid curiosity, I missed out on picking that up during my hiatus, is there a list somewhere of what they usually release in the gem store?

Which pets? I noticed alot of these would function on my bristleback and now im testing it on my shadowscale

Really dig it, only complaint I suppose is the tattoos but thats more the game limiting than your character

Im running around with the steam hulk and magitech armor w/ the gas mask helm
its like two fully decked out characters running around.

I love it haha!

I figure with the “free” 30% poison duration I can do the 20% and 10% sigils respectively to even the odds so to speak

pve/wvw/trains and solo stuff mostly. Any spvp I do is mostly casual stuff through dailies, im using this game as physical rehab post accident.

Venomshare is easily the most fun ive had in this game since my accident! How can I fine tune it to make it even better?

After about 40 some odd levels Im in love with the “burst” condition that venoms bring with daggers and caltrops
Its very fun. I just wish bleeds were a tad better damage. Plus side I get alot from poison as well I suppose

Im missing a few fingers from a recent accident and while I love playing games like this.. I just cant do the piano gameplay anymore. Would something like this be more my speed?
I love conditions, I love soloing(world events, roaming in wvw and exploration)

for ranger IIRC you’ll be specing for mostly bleeds using shortbow and 1h sword (I forget offhand)

Axe/Torch in both weapon sets. So you can swap and get a permanent 8 sec CD on bonfire. Also 5 stacks of bleeding with Axe 2 and all the Axe mainhand skills being projectile finishers to go with the field from bonfire.

I currently main a minion master power reaper who is nigh untouchable in HoT maps .. Funny how that works. Is there anything else that’d succeed in the solo bit for those maps?

This sounds weird but uh.. Im missing a few fingers. I really wanted to try out engineer but the crazy rotation would get screwed up pretty easilly with my er probelm.

Spvp isnt my focus persay, I do it when im bored or I dont want to do a certain daily
I hear Mallyx rev kinda blows chunks in pve content

So I main a Power Reaper (minions for world shenanigans) and I wanna try the other side of the pool so to speak, get into Conditions. Ive got a guardian, ranger and warrior, rev sitting around at high levels.. Which would you suggest for a mostly Solo play oriented player (Single queue spvp/Roaming wvw/world completion)

I wouldnt mind leveling something else if it means I can enjoy conditions and solo play at the same time yknow?

Edit: also love the getup, didnt think the grenth hood would go with that till I saw it. 7/10! Too much fire for my tastes

I had used the skin with the old transmute system, was that my mistake perhaps? I know I Had it.. thats what bothers me..

Prior to me leaving the game a while ago(right around the first christmas event give or take a few months) I had unlocked the mad memories back pieces, both of them mind you..

With this new wardrobe system I seem to have lost first, and personally speaking here, better looking version of it.. considering that in order to have the final piece I need to have unlocked the first.. shouldnt I have it unlocked by proxy? Im unsure of what actually happened to the back piece itself unfortunately..

any help and input would be greatly appreciated, enclosed is a screenshot of proof as I can supply..

8/10 for Cledwen, I enjoy the thought process of the name and it give sthe visual of a soldier.. however the stigma of Sylvari not taking titles or nicknames is a little silly.

What class do you think will pull ahead when it comes to pure ranged play?
I love sniper/ranger/wizardly archetypes, especially if its turret play.
Boring to some I know but I enjoy it..
