ah I get the idea, so put them in BLC is the most reasonable option in this case.
I gambled $600 to get the perma repair contract, just wanted to try my luck. It was quite stupid of course. Because the repair contract only costs only 1k on tp which only $100 if you just transfer 8k gems into gold.

but if you make them say 2k gold still tons of players can afford them?
look at all the farmers?? in ab and other maps. they make hundreds gold daily.

and yes, I totally agree with your idea. They should make/ have some cash only items.
or change the current system like directly cash to gold. no gems….. tho it will impact the game in a bad way? im not sure im stupid.

for example, say an eternity costs 5k on tp, but I only have 5 gold. However you can see the $$$ price next to the in game gold price. just like diablo 3 tp/auction house system.

That’s 10 people who were likely buying individual primers, because only those addicted to using them would be able to justify $200+ for it. It would take way too long to become worth it in the game, because that’s how ANet would make it priced (either by super rare BLTC chest drop like all other permanent things or extremely high gem store price like the harvesting and salvaging items). So the average player who already doesn’t buy the primers, isn’t likely to spend money to get them (either directly or via keys).

yea that’s what I mean, because those who don’t buy things at all are not going to buy anything at anytime right? And to those who do, normally would only want to spend less than $20
So in this case, 1 person who wanna spend $200 = 10 or a lot more who don’t wanna spend a penny.
Thus 10 people already equal to or more than 200 average players
I am pretty sure there will be way more than 10 people who would like to have them.

But, im not quite sure how it will effect the game. I just assume all they need to do is list them in gem store. Wont cost anything to list them yeah? look at how many things are listed in gem store that no one even cares/ buy.

for now im just happy as long as they can fix the metabolic primer bug.

if 10 people willing to buy ( at 200 price each 400 for both) so 4k in total they can make from them.
and 4k = tons of name change contract/ makeover kit/ and other useless stuff in gem store that people don’t care about.

But hey if you don’t want to buy it, doesn’t mean other people don’t want to buy it either.
Don’t underestimate the amount of players that are willing to spend money in this game.

They just list them in gem store with 16k gems for each/ or more. If people want it then buy it, if no then don’t. Just like everything else on gem store.

If you already spent 600$ on primers Anet would loose money by selling permanent primers.

that’s why I want permanent ones. It costs a lot and I know I wont stop buying them….

I crafted 5 ascended zerker aqua breathers but I need them in HOT stats!!

Game needs a new publisher in order to go in Chinese market.
and currently all publishers in China are way greedier than Anet, so financially, Anet not making huge amount of money as they do in the west, and plus some game contents are changed by the publisher ( you can pay to be a patron, or become a vip whatever it is called. Also, there is an official store that sells gold…. you buy gold from bots get banned still only via official store by using real life money and all these profit goes to publisher) and all of these are agreed on the contract.

Also there are huge amount of Chinese players that would like to p2w. No matter what games they play, they just spend tons of real life money to buy high end gears. so in Chinese gw2 pretty much everyone has 5+ legendary weapons. if you don’t have one either you really don’t have time, or you really don’t care about gears….

grinding only for bots and gold sellers. they don’t grind anymore.
imagine there are thousands of people would like to pay 100k dollars just to win the game (I have some real life friends who have paid 60k dollars just to win the stupid game, just to be better than all other players. Not in gw2)

so is NCSOFT, Anet dying? hardly… cos people don’t care they just buy everything with real life money, and plus gw2 in game items are way cheaper than most of other games.

but GW2 the game is pretty much dead, it lost 90% of its players within a year. Now all the players are in the same 2, 3 servers. The rest servers are either closed or about to, or Chinese gw2 cant even be bothered to close those ghost servers.

I know because I played Chinese gw2 for awhile when I was studying in China, and because I still log in like once a month

now my mats just laying in my bank and hopefully they will be useful one day.

I also got 20+ recipes from fractal but none of them were hot ones.

the standard ones can also be found on TP.

yea come to think of it remove aqua breather would be the best option.

cos i “accused” them for being ignorant and dont give a kitten about players

Let me do a calculation
•10 silver + 2 skill points for each Adept Trait
•50 silver + 5 skill points for each Master Trait
•1g 50 silver + 10 skill points for each Grandmaster Trait
•3 gold + 20 skill points for the newest Grandmaster trait added with April 15 patch

3 gold 60 skill points to unlock all adept trait
1o gold 100 skill points to unlock all master trait
3o gold 200 skill points to unlock all grandmaster trait

in total you need 43 gold and 360 skill points to unlock every single trait

This new trait system is 100% piece of ****
they say it helps new players to understand the game better
We had no issue when we started to play this game…
why should new players do?
they aren’t stupid or anything
This is a f game, not Java/c+/c++ nor biochemistry

spending more time on grinding traits wont profit you anet, only buying gems from us do.
and actually gw2’s pve content kinda sucks……

Im a huge skin fan so I even offered 500 dollars just for the chest/ legging/ boots, but I got completely dismissed.

I have seriously submitted more than 5 support tickets about this tribal armor set missing issue.

I also asked them if they could actually talk to people who are in charge of making decisions rather than just sit there and tell me “no the armor set is not available” I mean duhhhh I know its unavailable that’s why I need you to ask someone who knows.

but yea you know, they couldn’t be bothered so for all my 5 tickets I got the exact same reply.

although they were quite polite so you couldn’t really be mad at them at all…

I don’t know what solution they will come up with. if they tell me to transmute eternity back to sunrise/twilight then I will really have nothing to say.

just buy the Chinese cd key online, download the game. sigh up.
but everything will be in Chinese I don’t think you wanna play in Chinese server as everybody will type in Chinese as well…

if you do not wish to finish all the events to get your traits
1, you will need 360 skill points (remember, legendary weapon only needs 200)
2, you will need 65 gold (………..? are you serious?)
however if you want to finish all the events
1, you will need to do world completion again
2, you will need to do world completion again
3, you will need to do world completion again
4, you will need to do world completion again
5, you will need to do world completion again
well, not that much but pretty much you will need at least need 70% world completion, and remember, those traits events are always separated in different maps, far away from maps you actually tend to follow normally
for example we used to lvl up in queensdale, kessex hills then gendarran fields and your personal story line follows these maps as well, but this new trait system doesn’t follow anything just want you to finish random maps. ????????????? why anet?????

and the ridiculous new traits system…….

I made a new character then I realized I need 260 skill points and 50 gold to get those traits were given by default. and to get new traits ill need another 100 skill points and 15 gold….
and to complete all traits events hell no… it basically means another world completion. so I deleted all the up lvl characters.

the new trait system is absolutely dumb.
all traits should be given by default.
this is not encouraging players to get involved with the game.

imagine, after moths, years we have spent to get everything we have now. now for some reason we have to repeat everything again.
to get every single old trait for each new character you will need 260 skill points and 50 gold.
to get new traits you will need another 100 skill points and 15 gold.

oh and if you wanna complete all the events to get all traits. good luck. it basically means another world completion. and some events are bugged constantly.

yea that too, you are right I mean who would keep a crashed eternity while they already have both skins.
sell it, make gold, buy another legendary weapon. that’s something smart to do.

Eternity is just bugged, it should changed to sunrise during day time however it still remains the twilight aura.. actually it only has twilight aura. So it gets pretty ugly when you have a celestial or any other light coloured character..

and more importantly, whenever I try to toss my gs around, it shows the standard gs flying out rather then designed gs such as sunrise, twilight.
Im a Mesmer so when I use gs skill2 I can only see the purple gs… which is.. so annoying
I don’t know why I bothered to spend such long time on doing this eternity crap.

But I think it is kind of my fault too?.. I never read forums or wikis so I didn’t know eternity is bugged….. only if I did..sigh… I wouldn’t have crafted it at all.

but Anet don’t you think you should rework on it? I mean after all we are customers, and frankly eternity shouldn’t be poorly designed like this?
