I think Divinities Reach had a new poi added, the Dead End, an instanced area.

One just has to run up to the door to get it, or at least i did on my most recent character!

This is true, got this PoI just running up the stairs to the door. It was added in the Living World Season 2.

It looks like whenever it’s used, it counts as you double-clicking on it, which is also behavior used to put something into your bank or retrieve it while the bank window is open. Pull things out to your inventory and close the bank tab and this shouldn’t happen.

As I tell customers I have to help at my job, can’t fix a problem if we don’t know it’s there, and the more detail that can be given about an issue, the easier it is to track down.

After I take my friend to work in about an hour, I will be returning to the 32-bit client and taking Ovan through this story step, and then going back to 64 to see if I can find any other buggies hiding in there.

Are you running a 64-bit version of a Windows operating system?

If so, have you tried running it as an administrator?

If not, 64-bit executables will only run on 64-bit operating systems.

It is only appearing as locked for the one character that had started the initial Heart of Thorns storyline, but it’s unlocked for the others? Am I understanding that correctly?

Support ticket 1938908, I was instructed to submit an in-game bug report and make a post on the forums. This post was made last night, and I have made an in-game bug report referencing the ticket and this post.

Are you using the 32-bit client or the 64-bit one? Currently, it appears that the 64-bit client crashes entering this story instance, but I was able to go into it using the 32-bit launcher.

64-Bit Client and "A Light in the Darkness"

Alright, so the 64-bit client has so far been successful in solving my crashing issues elsewhere in the game, but while running it I have crashed every time I have attempted to enter “A Light in the Darkness” story instance.

In an attempt to test things, I loaded the 32-bit client and attempted to load in… successfully. It appears that this story instance loads in my 32-bit client but will not load in the 64-bit version. I have sent the error report that was generated by the crash reporter, but I will paste it here as well so that it might be easily seen and forwarded to those who need to see it.

Edit: Asking around in map chat confirms others having the same issue, whether going into their own instance or joining another player.

I have left my character Ovan Thorne by the entrance and am logging out for the night if a dev wants to take a copy of that character.

I’ve got 10. I wanted to have one of every class, and then I used my extra slot to make another guardian (my main class), but sylvari so I can experience HoT as one, eventually.

Game/Net crashes

Happens to me, too. Usually only once, then not again for a while. I have to wander aimlessly when I login until I d/c, because I get mad if I’m doing a map’s meta-event and crash out of it. :/

At 25% health, Mordremoth became “immune to all damage except for the rifts”. My party was able to use a rift, which only took his break bar down to 25%. We were able to manually break him after pounding on him in frustration. Some attacks did damage (a whopping 3, though…) his immunity and/or the rifts don’t seem to be working as intended, OR if we are supposed to break his bar manually, it’s not made clear that we can/should do so.

I was able to make it work by changing my payment method to paysafecard and then back to credit card. That was annoying, but I got it working.

I have been having this problem off and on, and it seems to be getting worse.
I click to buy gems, then click credit card and the amount of gems I want, and sometimes it won’t let me press the next button.

Today, I was able to press the next button, but the fields to fill in my card information disappear when I mouse over them, making the process impossible to complete. I want to give you my money!

I am, too. Thought Queensdale was empty… couldn’t find any enemies, then disconnected. When I reconnected, the game still said I was in frostgorge sound. It went back to Queensdale when I hit to connect, then I was back in an empty queensdale before being kicked off again.

There is an option under combat/movement called Ground Targeting, is this the option you’re looking for?
