Who’re you to judge how, or why I play the game? I like PvE STYLE of play, not WvW, which is why I put in a lot of hours completing the PvE maps. You haven’t, and clearly prefer spending your time in WvW. Good for you, I am genuinely glad to see you are enjoying yourself. But if you want to turn this forum into a blog about why you think the WvW experience is superior to PvE then please take your soapbox and go start your own post.

This is the way ANET wants you to play and make the sacrifice to obtain a rather rare achievement (which also gains you the opportunity for other gear that the majority will not gain without a huge monetary dump). So, nobody gets special concessions. That includes you.

First off, yer vids are very inconclusive. A 30 second video of fighting at a treb does not show that every wall/gate is up, that they hadn’t been cleverly in wait, or any thing of evidence. So, when you make accusations try to gain as much evidence as possible.

Secondly, follow Anet’s rules. You do not post about exploiting or glitches in thread but report it to them at whatever the email is to Anet. (exploits@arena.net)

Then, follow the common thing of asking for a guild leader/officer of the said guild so it can be handled properly.

Fourthly, give feedback to Anet about all the places you know of that can be glitched through and demand that it gets fixed. That way nobody on any server can do it again.

Lastly, it’s been dealt with. If it happens again with any TSP. You come to me and you come to me only.

It is a better system than before. As yes I can finally see the enemies from a fairly okay distance. Unlike the original system which got tremendously worse after being reinstated after the Trial (which was also slightly better). I can finally see enemies with a good rough estimate while running with between 10-20 guildmates and we’re able to fight accordingly. There are still some issues of course but it’s not as bad as before where nothing at all would show up but your health bar decreasing and some AoE effects. Then, your downed and respawn screen. The new system prevents this for me at about an 90% effectiveness over the original. Which is mostly due to lag and loading.

And basically what Riven said in the last paragraph. Not that us battling foes can agree on anything except spilling each other’s pixelated blood!!!!

SoR is simply better organized and their average player is likely better geared, higher level and more experienced than our average player. They run in tight zergs with a purpose, while our players often go around in more scattered zergs, go off and do their own thing or stand around trying to figure out what to do/do random stuff in the portal keep.

SoR is simply a T1 server stuck in T2.

You can say that about every average player on every server.. they are not as geared, leveled, wise of the game, as many of the hardcore main stay WvW guilds.. on every server. SOR just has better coverage, a deeper commitment with their WvW guilds, and more practice at guild/group mechanics and execution. That’s why it’s always nice to play against new servers to see how they do things and to adopt a way to combat it, or develop your own equally effective techniques.

Best way to keep people from wanting to do smaller battles, thus likely dying more often but still having a lot of fun.. is getting rid of the REPAIR COSTS in WvW.

Then people won’t be scared to not zerg. (Though you still die and incur repair costs in a zerg.. it’s a lot less often.) No costs would remove the “fear.”

Doth thou even math? Many seem not to.. and the way the math is done (currently) will be changing anyways to help furthur compensate.

If all you are seeing is just Pink and AL then you are either blind.. or they are culled. Let’s see there’s DIS, FIST, TSL, KH, TV, TSF, TTC, and many many more that are in WvW every single day.

All I gotta say is most of you are in trouble once you can’t Culling Bomb™. (Goes for all servers). It’s the most ridiculous thing in the game WvW-wise. (Besides bad loot tables).

Yep.. people exploit the hell out of Culling. Just AoE stealth then portal. Then boom nobody sees you because you’re Culled in perma stealth. Exploit it to your hearts content. Anet please please please implement your fix now.
