I love all the half-veiled insults you guys like to toss at anyone and everyone from ehmry bay. We have more than you guys, but this is far from a mindless zerg of solos. We have good coordination among 6-8 medium to large guilds. We almost never have a que on any map, so lay off the shoveling poo to cover for a lack of coordination on your parts.

We’ve played great matches against servers with hours long ques on all maps and kicked their teeth in during prime times, only to lose the entire map overnight and do it again every day for a week, because we love to pvp. This server is no mindless zergball bouncing around the maps. We have pride in what we do and we do it well. Stop with the hostility and enjoy the fights because next matchup you’ll get a less prepared server.

Grats then you have 3 more full ques than BP does. Very few guild groups have we seen.

You mis-read. Other than Friday and maybe Saturday we have almost never had a queue for any map, so most of the time 0 more queues than BP. I know I haven’t seen a queue for any map every evening this week, at least not evening-time PST.

This is actually a rather humorous recurring discussion. The last three weeks we’ve had our kittens kicked by other servers and our weekly thread in this forum on the matchup inevitably had multiple posts from EB players saying how we stomped them every time it was even, but that we always lost when the enemy showed up in numbers. It was only the size of their zerg that allowed them to beat us!

Numbers absolutely do carry the field more often than not. I suspect claims to always win the even battles on the smaller servers’ part (including us in previous weeks) is much more self-consolation than reality. There are no doubt excellent groups of players are on every server, BP and AR being no exception. However, I imagine that the skill level of the average player on each is not all that different.

To the person saying invis people was not rendering, you are wrong. I’m on EB and I eventually bailed of out the fights in the Garrison area of the Borlis border last night as I got tired of fighting invisible people half the time. It frustrating to chase someone down for the kill, get it and only then realize 6-7 other enemies just popped into existence next to you from culling. If nothing else, made me play cautious.

I think there should be at least two if not three ways to get each gear type so that players are not forced into a playstyle they dislike. “Types” are Rabid, Shaman, Valkyrie, etc. For the purposes of this request, I’m defining ways as WvW, Karma, Crafting, Dungeons and loot drops.

For instance, it is only possible to get weapons and jewelry with the equivalent of Rabid (toughness/precision/condition dam) via running dungeons. It is almost as hard to get light chest/foot armor with these stats as well as only Khilbron’s has those stats and they are ridiculously expensive on the TP.

So, to get the equipment best suited to the build I use in WvW my only option is to run dungeons – which I can’t stand doing. This is ironic as Rabid seems to be a PvP set and Dungeons are about as far removed from PvP as you can get.

I second the motion for adding “Rabid”. It is available in sPvP and I would like to use it in WvW. It is ironic that some pieces of these armor/weapons are only available via dungeons which are as far from PvP as you can get. Frankly all ability combination types should have at least two ways to get them so as not to force players into a playstyle they dislike (ways being WvW, crafting, dungeons).

I just wish we (EB) would just hurry up and finish falling to whatever rank we’re actually able to be competitive at. Getting beat up week after week is getting old.

Taking a moment from the whole is there an alliance or not discussion, I think there might be one thing we can all agree on – we all hate bots, right? Well I know in our last week’s match (EB here) there were 20-30 EB bots in the EB Borderlands harvesting the Scritt area 24/7. There were also a bunch underwater near one of the Quaggan areas. I would have liked nothing more than to let Ferg or Borlis in to harvest bots and apply dome much deserved repair bills, but there was no way to communicate that. This time however there may be some people listening via this discussion.

So, if you see bots from your team in large numbers why not throw it out there on this thread for the competition to “take care of” the problem. Don’t name names or use screenshots, just throw out the location – we don’t want this thread locked. I would throw out the first offering, but we’re getting our butts kinda kicked and I have yet to see a bunch of EB bots this time around. If I do, I’ll post the location.
