For the love of god ANET why do you insist in giving out so much “loot”. I get a reward for completing something and then its like heres you loot chest. And within that loot chest is some more…. CHESTS! Inside those chests? Here is some champion pouches! Its like a awful christmas joke. lol

What they need to do is nerf beat the hell out of a engy with a nerf bat.. The amount of sustain coupled with the damage they can put out is downright gross.

Been playing around with Revenant the past few days in an attempt to learn something new. It has not been easy, I mostly spvp or WvW, can someone tell me what Revenants use for stability or condo removal? I am running a power based build. Typically anytime I decide to close the distance on someone and engage this result usually happens. Stun, condi, condi, stun, stun, stun, condi, dead… So can someone help a newbie out?!

So I was trying out Ele and would like to play it more often but had some questions about it. As of now I am gonna go with the standard D/D build and plan on doing mostly wvw and spvp with him. As I was looking through the various roaming wvw vids and posts on forums I couldn’t help but notice that a lot of people have a shockingly low amount of crit chance? Can anyone that is experienced with a ele explain this to me? I know in one of the trees it gives you fury everytime you switch attunements but that is only for a few secs. And as far as runes go what are common ones that are used kinda unsure what to take with me.

Not sure if you guys know this or not buuuuut Trading Post doesn’t load. Anyone else having the same problem? :P

Couldn’t agree more… I played through and did achieves for queen’s gauntlet and then the one after where all of scarlett’s minions attacked and it was just so… blehh. I haven’t done any living story since, and probably won’t until they take it in a different direction. Like the example given above. Or the Elder dragons? Although the fight with Zhaitan was laughable. But still.. Story was better than Scarlett. Or areas in the game that you are not allowed to explore yet. Crystal Desert, The Flame isles (Can’t remember name). All these in my opinion would be way more intriguing than this Scarlett stuff. At least IMO.

Hello, I was reading somewhere on here that eventually you will be making the current finishers that are associated with your rank unobtainable in the future. ANET at least show us what it looks like pleeeeeeeease! I am only lvl 28 so I won’t get it. And I have yet to see it in a video in game ect. Anybody else curious?

Well you do have a point there, I know lag can be a issue there cause I know it has been a ongoing issue. But hopefully ANET would respond and at least say if it is feasible. Would be nice to see that rivalry play out.

Hi guys, really hoping ANET reads this but was wondering in what direction is WvW heading in since season one has now ended? Is it back to old matchmaking for now? What did everyone else take from season 1 and would like to see in season 2? Permanent 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers till the following season so you have to fight for them again? Different rewards?
Me personally for season 2 I thought it would be pretty awesome if ANET matched up NA gold league Vs Europe gold league and same with others. It would definitely bring competitiveness and in my opinion be a blast Sort of like Guild Wars 1 where you fought Europe and whoever was winning shifted the favor of the gods. Would that be feasible ANET? I personally enjoyed WvW and will continue doing so looking forward to see what everyone has to say!

I personally would love if we were on more even footing during off hours like we were days that would be a hell of a match up. There would be awesome fights 24/7

I am not sayin they are more coordinated dude. SF loses some fights even with superior numbers and so does HOD. I said it would still be a really close fight. You are putting words in my mouth.

You don’t have to show me the stats. I see them in game, and yesterday during our primetime and pretty much everyday before we have been beating you. There is no refuting that. And I didn’t say they were great like we were destroying you or anything cause those are the best fights and they are close. But your fellow counterparts keep saying how they are consistently outplaying us, which you are not. There have been good fights. But I am telling you man if are day crew didn’t have to sleep the score would be different. Still close but different. I do suspect the gap you guys have on us now will probably just continue to widen due to the day crew constantly having to make up ground and more and more people saying f-it as the week goes. And I kinda feel bad for them I am oceanic so I got it rough and we can’t do anything but watch you guys roll through are BL around the same time every night cause we just don’t have the numbers.

Love listening to HOD on here… Are 20 man outplay your 100 man we skilled learn from it SF. You guys realize that you are getting beat most of the day right? More like you guys are skilled at taking undefended posts with unmanned siege once our day crew goes to bed. Good job?

Good fights this week. I wish the matches were like this every week, instead of ANET saying well here is a little variety. Go fight two servers 2-3 tiers higher than you and get slaughtered. Fighting FERG and DH has been really enjoyable. And to the Thief I dueled in DH BL good duel. Lasted like 15 minutes and thought we were gonna have a stalemate but I landed my banish an it went down hill from there And I apologize to the guy that interfered at the end at tried stomping you but I stopped him.

Remember Guardians? They were one of the classes you made when you created Guild Wars 2. Surprisingly, considering the promising start, they have become the red-headed stepchild class that you left behind way back when. They need to be buffed because ever since release you’ve done nothing but buff all the other classes and, on average, Guardians can’t cope anymore.

This may seem melodramatic, but seriously, just because Josh Groucheroo constantly says, “…and guardians are fine”, it doesn’t make it so.

Svarty… What are you talking about? Guardians are one of the most sought after classes in dungeons, right up there with warrior. And same goes for PvP. And when I say PvP I am talking about WvW can’t speak too much for Spvp cause I don’t really play it. Are we even playing the same game?

I feel for you guys this time around. Usually I don’t care, but way too many SF were talking smack today at reset and I was disgusted with them since 80pct of them didn’t even show last match up where Yaks Bend worked us over.

But such is the nature of WvW you overpower some, you get overpowered some. Don’t take it serious and you’ll be fine.

^This. So true, about to log in for first time since reset and I am sure I will see sooooo many new faces that were nowhere to be found a week ago.

I was being aggressive and I was also using that exact weapon set. The thing I noticed was no matter how aggressive I was they were just faster than me or teleport/stealth away from me and I could not catch them. As far as speed goes they seem to be pretty limited.

First time showing up to a fight club, and had some fun duels and learned a lot. I must say the skill level of the people there was pretty impressive. I was that Guardian that lost every duel -_- lol. Most of the time when roaming in WvW I win most even 1 on 1 match ups. Anybody have any advice or tips for the big dumb Norn Guardian getting his kitten whooped? Or are Guardians really not that great of a dueling class? Guardians are pretty slow so when I was dueling the mesmers and thieves I spend most the fight running after them :/ lol. Either way good times!

I hope you do not represent the majority of players of Yak’s Bend, I would hope not but it seems as if the majority of people on Yak’s Bend think that ganking someone 4v1 is skillful? Or fun? Either way idk. But when I am behind the windmill which is known for dueling, and I salute you and you do the same and we proceed to fight. Well… it seems I got the best of you in a FAIR fight cause you ran away so I took it as a forfeit and left you alone. Then 5 minutes later 3 of your guildies come and gank me then you dance on my corpse? Real classy… You so pro.

What tiers are those servers renmei? I forgot to put it in my post but I am not really interested in Tier 1 or 2 servers. Not in to the whole GIANT zerg fights and the lag that comes with it. I So I was thinking of tiers 3 and below. More specifically tiers 3-5 range? Thanks!

Hello, just wanted to try posting on here to see what comes up. As the title suggests, I am looking for a new WvW focused server and organized guild to call home because I am pretty unhappy with the current server I am on. So I guess I will start out with letting you know a few things about me.
I WvW with a Guardian and as of now he runs a commando shout build. Although willing to play other builds/roles to fit what my future guild needs. I know the basics of WvW but looking for other experienced commanders to learn from to teach me the more advanced strategies ect, because one day when I feel I am ready I would love to lead 5-10 man groups or possibly even zergs and earn my tag. And another big thing is I am a oceanic player (Guam). So to most people it may seem like I play at weird hours. I am really active on weekends. As for the week work tends to tie me down but I am also on here and there also.
As for what I am looking for? I am just looking for a really organized guild with a server that loves WvW! A oceanic guild would be awesome, but it is not a requirement. As for GvG I have never done it but would also like to experience that side of the house too. Well I guess that is about it. Hopefully I get a few offers

Was solo roaming ET borderlands and ran into a Sylvari Warrior a few minutes ago, and wanted to give a shout out. And if you are reading this great duel! I was the Guardian with the GS/Staff and it was back and forth for a solid 5-10 minutes trying out maneuver each other using terrain and our skills to the best of our abilities, anything we could use to get a advantage. But ended with a stale mate. So we saluted and went our ways. Respect.

Well I can kinda understand why everyone flocks to it though. Idk if it is just me but in this game it seems like it is very hard to make gold. Anet is stingy with loot, I mean just look at Jormag. To me Jormag is a very fun boss fight especially when he gets hit and crashes into the mountain. Looks awesome on my computer and feels pretty epic. However, how long does it take to fight him? What do you get in the end? A rare? A few greens or blues? So when you have events like this that actually enable people to make some money people are going to flock to it. And I can personally attest to that. I was broke as kitten before this event. Now I actually feel like I have a decent amount of gold. Still would like to have more stuff like Jormag though :/

Is it just me or did anyone else notice the little tune that is played after you drive off Scarlett and your awards pop up for participating is just like the Harry Potter tune? Or at least really similar to it? haha
