First of all i apoligize for any grammar error, english isn’t my main language.
So, some people say it’s fixed, other says it isn’t, but let’s get to the point. Almost all teleport/shadowstep skills are broken right now when used along with a movement skill.
Most of the time i try to use shadowstep+movement skill (heartseeker or flanking strike mostly), i end up not hitting the skill on the target. Some other time i don’t hit and i even get teleported back a few “meters” away from the target itself (shadowstep to target>skill don’t hit it>get teleported back). Although this last case is rare but it can still happen.
This bug completely ruins the gameplay of my favorite class for me, and even more when using my prefered weapon set which got nerfed and now i need to hit a target to unlock the 2nd skill, but how can i hit if the shadowstep is bugged?
Not only that, but Steal isn’t even 900 range anymore. And this is easy to proof.
On the following images, i walked toward a golem till the very limit of the range indicator bar. As you know, Head Shot share the same range as Steal, which is 900. From the same distance, i can hit the target normally which the Head Shot but when trying to use the steal it goes on kitten cooldown.

Is the team aware of this bug (i’m asking but i know there have been lots of reports, but i don’t see any new info about it) and have any ETA on fix?

Yes but if the majority are against it and stand up for people then you will notice it stops. It is much the same as people making racial slurs, or bigoted remarks. Random people standing up for others shuts those guys up pretty quickly. If you can improve the behavior of the majority, the others will fall into line because they don’t like the pressure they get back when they act out.
The majority is against already. What would happen if the majority of the players were the trashtalkers? I can’t even think about how things would be bad. Just ignore, it’s the best thing to do, try to argue will just give them more opportunity to trashtalk you once again.
The problem isn’t entirely the toxicity of some members, because this exists in every single competitive game scenario.
I’ve seen this come up over and over again as some kind of justification. Just because this happens in other games, can’t we try to be better than them?
I’m sorry, but this will never happen. There will always be the one who like to trashtalk, and they do it just because they find it fun. This game have a good overall community, but there will always be the toxic ones (even on PvE).
Just ignore them and your problem will be “solved”.
The problem isn’t entirely the toxicity of some members, because this exists in every single competitive game scenario. The problem is new players are getting matched with veteran players on tournaments, thus causing this situation.
All the changes made to PvP were made to “make it easier for new players”, however the new system is only making new people much more confused. If they want to stay with this system, then they’ll need implement a better tutorial zone showing everything, since where you can change your traits to weapons and stuff.
They want more build diversity, but they’re pushing over and over towards the condition meta. They said Critical Damage wouldn’t be nerferd on pvp, but here we are.
I’m in the same boat as you. I find playing a condition build extremely boring nowadays, but i’m feeling tempted to run it as i have never felt before.
Why? Because it’s just ridiculous an engineer who can inflict 3~4 conditions, maybe more, with a single auto attack (yes, #1 skill) of its pistol, downing the HP of my thief by half. With only one auto attack.
No, i don’t like it.
Can’t they just press a button to rollback all the crap changes made to pvp?
I’m sorry ANet, i’m a big fan of the game, but almost everything is bad. Just bad.

As people mentioned already, this new hairstyle doesn’t look the same ingame as it look in the Makeover window/character select screen/personal story cutscenes.
But, it’s not the only problem. The color also looks odd in this hairstyle, probably because it isn’t optimized yet as we can see by the “pixeled” hair in the character’s face.

We know that Anet have a lot more important things to do, but i really hope they fix this new hairstyle. It’s great and is the only reason i made my first female human char in any game.

But, i think everyone with The Predator will agree that the new sound is really, really odd.
First of all i must say i actually enjoyed the new color/glow effects, despite the glow(happens with any Legendary aura/glow effecs) aren’t visibles in Charr’s characters.
This new sound doesn’t look like to a fiery theme, it’s really sound like a “bug”.
By the way, i have a request for the ANET team. If you look into a normal rifle, each skill have a different sound effect, and this doesn’t happens to the Legendary rifle. Would be really interesting if we had different sounds for each skill just like any normal rifle, since it’s a Legendary Weapon.

Thanks Donwey. I imagine that it’s the forced ambient occlusion that’s contributing the most to the graphics quality in your game. Sadly, ATI cards can’t force ambient occlusion – just NVidia. Poor me :X.
Anywho, I’ve taken Donwey’s DPX settings, modified them a bit and incorporated them into my previous settings. It looks a bit nicer now; it’s a tad brighter and the colors pop more.

Hey man, thanks for sharing. But, i have something to ask you. The overall graphics looks amazing, but the letters, idk, it looks strange now. Did you felt the same, or know a way to fix it?
