When shadow refuge ends and you get the stealth buff, if you short bow teleport out you visually break stealth, however the stealth still lasts the complete time to the enemy.
(not sure about the bug with other stealth moves, It may not be just shadow refuge)
It’s annoying because I forget im in stealth sometimes when this happens.
A couple friends and I are starting a team of about 6-10 people max. ( We will run 2 groups)
We will have one main group and the other guys will be fill ins for when someone is not available ( This means you can have leeway on your scheduled as well)
The time we are wanting to set up is anyday 11PM to about 2 or 3 AM CST

Another requirement is you must have ventrillo, TS3, or Skype not sure witch we will be using.
I understand ranks are not a sign of being good or not however we want you to at LEAST be rank 20… ( If you WVW main you need to grind)

let us see that map in a 5v5 competitive lvl.
Ppl say they dont like it but that is just because they have only played it 8v8 and that map in 8v8 is a zerg fest because under water is not were ppl want to go.
I think most people don’t realize there are “hot join” server for 5v5 (#/10).. I know most people use those server as dueling servers but that is simply because they are located at the bottom of the list.
They are for people without a group to play 5v5, ( frees you should que with a group)
When I cant find a group I jump on the smaller 10 man hotjoin servers and just got to the one with the most people.
IMO the 10 slot servers shouldn’t be listed last.
I’ve been trying to get some attention for this issue for a while now with no success.
EVERY other class has at least 1 weapon option with a 1200 range auto-attack.
Even the ones that ANet specifically said to be melee-oriented in their design (Warriors have rifles and Guardians have scepters).Not having a 900 range option means complete misery when up on walls trying to defend a keep. Cluster bomb isn’t spammable long range because of the horrible projectile speed, and once we’re out of initiative we’re forced to just sit there like an idiot and not contribute at all to the battle.
This is one of the most glaring class imbalances in the game in my opinion, and really does need to be addressed.

I only play thief and I do SPVP as a p/p shortbow..
Right now I get the job done fine but I do see an imbalance here at least. Maybe make cluster bomb a little faster the longer the shot it?

I would love to see a buff to range.
Unless we are the same range as everyone else but rangers and spellcasters, I can see why it’s balanced that way.
However I think the short bow range is fine because the shadow shot skill would be even more OP. So maybe buff the range except for that skill (not sure)
The rifle thing… No, just no.
But hey I play a thief buff what ever you want.
What gear do you use I only have been playing it for 2 days now and switch from all divinity.
Also I would be interested in knowing your trait buffs (what ever you call em)

^^ hey bro it’s “zerg” fyi, and that look’s like great build. I don’t wvw but when I do I will check how that build works for sure.

I played back-stab burst d/d short bow and really liked it, but one night I was just bored and jumped onto my other thief I use for messing around with builds.
When I picked up the p/p combo at first I didn’t like it at all, then I decided to give it a try at least until I made a build to focus around its vitality which is a lot different than the back stab thief ( even tho you still use short bow a lot in spvp)
Now I moved the the p/p short bow to my main.. When I get into a random group most people laugh and since my back stab build is a quick switch I just switch back to d/d&sb for the paid or free, however when I run with my team we do really great in paids and frees( me as the p/p SB. Just bringing that up so you can be weary, because most people want a thief for the burst and while p/p short bow has a little burst its nothing compared to the back stab. I do feel our mobility and CC’s make up for that as a p/p shotbow..
Here is my build I’m using.. I couldn’t find much about it online so I just had to make my own go ahead and crit it please and thanks!

This is my 1st post on the forums so I would like to just introduce myself a bit.
I was a WoW player for 4 years off and on I thought I found “the game” However a friend convinced me to test out gw2 and seeing how it’s f2p I agreed, and fell in love with it.
That being said I only PVP and played a rouge as my main in WoW.. Knowing this I didn’t want to play thief in GW2. lol, anyway after testing out all the other classes I decided to try out the Thief(My next choice was a Mesmer or Warrior).
