I wish thinking back to my gw1 days and i remembered DoA. This was one of my favorite dungeons of all time. I would really like to see an open world dungeon, kind of like a small map. It would be separated into differant sections that have an event that you need to complete. Each area has a negative effect that is on your entire party. Each section has a differant effect and it would be removed on completing the area. Effects would be like skills recharge 33% slower. Healing skills are 20% less effective. you gain endurance 33% slower. And a passive degen. This would be a very long and difficult dungeon but very rewarding. No boss fights. That would be saved for the after you completed the open world part.
This would all be subject to change of course
HEY! this is aesome. i hope this gets implimented as a upgrade component under architecture. I would really like this and be able to use this. And you get permissions like “post on guild calender” and “can delete guild calender items.”
I agree! I hate having to scroll back and forth. I personally liked the old ap panel layout. I didnt see anything wrong with it. I do understand that from the new chests the ap panel would be revamped but it wasnt really necessary
Obla has a very good point. The fact that it would promote suicide bombing alone is enough to discourage developers from making it so you can pick up loot while dead. Sorry tough life i know.
Problem: Any dungeon that you do no matter the difficulty or harder the challenge provides the same reward as a dungeon that is not so hard.
Cause: People now only do the easiest paths because they give the same reward as the harder more fun paths (in my opinion). Even if you get a group for the harder paths you are rewarded little for your effort.
Solution: Add a reward for the amount of difficulty like the events in the open world are. This game has really good paths that I would love to play and this would be a way to open them up. Like CoF p3 is awesome but no one wants to play it because it provides the same reward as path one does.
Well, actualy I am hoping for that water/dark creature that was helping me in the end of the story mode. I forgot the name of it, but it was that one with “wings” where it could swim well etc. It would be exciting if there was a underwater race, since it would be unique, and also could come into the lore alot better since we have only seen 1 kind of this creature
“In the main story, she told me that they like to keep hidden, so a atlantis-ish underwater town, would be awesome”attacks would probably be all water based, or shadow based. “Which is kinda going all dark, with a full shadow creatures that atk everyone, even the owner or something”.
Thoug be4 thinking about new races, they should focus on the more important stuff :p.
I really like the idea to an underwater atlantis type city/race combo. Although if you are going to add something that is mainly underwater i would suggest adding more to underwater combat, or adding something to help stabilize movement. Also more than 3 weapons and an easier way to see what you’ve targeted. From my own experience and from what I’ve heard other players say underwater combat is not as fun as land combat. If you don’t add these changes to underwater combat then the race and city would be overlooked.
I was thinking earlier it would be nice if when you left your game online but went inactive that the game would automatically set your status to away after X amount of time has passed while being inactive. The game would also then flip from away to online as soon as you started playing again. Also its nice to have the dialogue that says “this player is away” whenever you try to PM them so you don’t run into an inactive player and spam his/her chat box with messages. Thank you.
I was just wondering if you can make a toggle button for autotargeting. Im always turning it on and off depending on what im doing. Like if im with my guild in wvw fighting a zerg or something i will turn it, but if something happens and i need to get away with my escape abilities its really annoying to have to press f11 and manually turn off auto targeting so i dont target an enemy or a random mob, which keeps me in combat or instead of escaping i leap deeper into a fight instead of away. Thank you :)
Can anyone else not wait until CD drops a tier so we actually might have a chance to take the lead, instead of being pwnd every week for the past few months
I was just spit-balling with my buddies and we came up with a couple ideas to bring to the game that would be pretty interesting. I think everyone knows that there will be new classes to come with the new expansions, but i was thinking new weapons to go with the new classes would be pretty sweet. A scythe with my thief sounds awesome. I would really love to see the dervish come back aswell
