yea, as someone who doesn’t really care for pve(after the first time through), this announcement was way to early. No build templates, no new leaderboards(still not working by the way), one new mode/map. hell even with a new WvW map I can’t say there’s enough to validate a purchase yet.

The amount of content that is being supplied in the expansion is well worth $50
sure doesn’t seem like it to me. then again, they haven’t even said a release date yet so maybe there’s more content they’ll reveal later. atm not worth $50 IMO.

I’m a returning player, been playing spvp for the past week or two. I kept looking at the leaderboards hoping that I would at least have a % but it hasn’t shown me on there yet. Why isn’t this told to people? I can’t find any warning that the leaderboards stopped working.

I’m watching ToL2 and I can’t help but notice that the icon when the spectator is viewing a player is covering what profession he is playing. Now I know I can look at what his skillbar is but it’s annoying to see the health bars, then look all the way down, figure out the he’s playing and then back at the action. Also if I was new/didn’t play It would be really hard to figure out those skills.

The reason for this is to put both PvE and PvP players on the same level once the 4/15 build hits. So PvP only players wouldn’t be the only people that need to run the dungeons on 4/15.

Its very tedious having to scroll through all the collections or closing them manually and then having them pop back open when you change screens. An easy fix is to have the menus start with closed tabs.

Build diversity is great, but having to reset your traits, get new runes, sigils and accessory every time you want to change is a drag. I know this was talked about some time ago but I haven’t heard any thing about it for a few months, not even sure if you would be the guys making it.

This has gotten out of hand. I think this is the first bronze event ive gotten where ive actually tried to do the event. good luck doing any melee if your server zergs the whole map.

instead, one need to push deep into rear of the enemy line, or flank from the side. you dont need to be in the middle of the enemy.
Best way to use Entangle, indeed.. Get to the rear of the enemy group, pop down Entangle, Lightning Reflex out of there, spam Barrage, get back in and stomp..

Seriously. How do people use this in pvp of wvw? In the description it says “They are immobile until the vines are destroyed” but every time I use it they get out a second or less after and the vines are just sitting there untouched.

Will you make this a choice to be instanced or something because I am getting bad lag because of the people underneath us. It gets so bad when the legendary boss is right under your arena that I can’t even see the effects that i have to dodge for. Please change something.

While i love that the devs are doing this, I feel that it should go back to what the first SotG where it was top players from different teams discussing what they felt that the state of the game was at. Its just that the devs don’t say much more that what will already be in a blog post or on the forums.

sounds great for solos, but what happens to the people that only have a team of 2-4. or what if you want to play with another one of your friends. If they add a solo queue like this then there’s no reason for them to team up with anyone unless they have a full team. I can see this working if the population was larger but atm there’s just not enough people to make it happen.

I think your talking about the hot joins. That doesn’t have ranked, the play now button will just bring you into a random map I believe.

I really hope they add a ranked solo queue soon, I’ts getting kinda stale for us “casual” pvpers. I don’t really have time to get together with a team, but I really just want to play with people that are at my skill level and actually try to win instead of trying to get as many points as they can.

I don’t find it too bad. If they take a skill that removes condi than that means they have 1 less skill they can use else ware. Same goes for traiting. And also I would never go full condi build.

Yes, it is closed off from the rest of the game. They did this so sPvP could as balanced as possible, in every aspect.

All of it. crit, condition, base, etc… It seems pretty much pointless to do anything but a glass cannon build because defense stats don’t seems to help much. Right now its just a game of who can pop all there skills faster.
