You do not HAVE to run in those groups. Even being one of the chosen classes I go out of my way to avoid those groups for 2 reasons. 1. its not really that much different with other classes too, even having just 1 warrior is enough and 2. the people that make these kind of groups are usually people I tend to avoid in general anyways as they are a waste of carbon.

Just make your own group I can make an lfg that says lf4m P1 speed farm have mesmer all classes welcome and it is full in less than a minute,

Well that’s not the same thing as saying an entire server’s WvW population is better at combat.

SoR news flash: How good or bad we are in NA is irrelevant. How stacked JQ is during our off peak hours is irrelevant. How many people BG recruited before they came to T1 is irrelevant.

All that matters is if you are having fun or not(its a game remember?) It sounds like 75% of the people posting in this forum here don’t actually like this game in general or T1 wvw in specific so I ask you all, wtf are you even doing here?

Obviously we do not need to carebear each other and do hugs and kisses and rainbows 24/7 but a minimum amount of civility would be nice. But I don’t think the forum warriors from ANY of the three servers are capable of that so I will not make a post like this again.

Mossman is incredibly easy to dodge. Whether he’s invisible or not, all you have to do is dodge a few seconds after he cloaks. It’s not rocket science and you don’t need to glitch to beat him.

There was never a point where Cliffside “forced you to wipe”. Unless you’re talking about the person with the hammer falling off the cliffs, in which case that is an acceptable consequence for somebody screwing up. I guess you’re saying you HAVE to dupe the hammer? No. You don’t.

Explain to me why WE should leave, when WE are the majority of the party and WE made the party. That doesn’t make any sense. You are arguing for the sake of arguing and are completely incoherent in parts of your posts.

@Lambros: Magic Find is a terrible stat and using Magic Find gear in a grou kitten elfish and there is no excuse for it. It doesn’t help anybody else in the group but yourself and lowers your efficiency by a significant amount, causing things to take more time and/or leading to more deaths.

The thing about Rangers is that 90% of the Rangers we’ve encountered all use only Longbow, don’t swap weapons and in general are terrible players, but like I said, we don’t kick people just because they’re on a specific class. We don’t even generally kick people for playing badly, we just don’t want anything to do with them after the run is over.

@Mark: I disagree. Every encounter in this game can be melee’d, as is being constantly proven with the videos that crop up with people accomplishing amazing things that other people have written off as “impossible”. I agree that is definitely advantageous to have a ranged weapon on hand at all times, as you should be flexible in your play style if the situation demands it. However our issue comes from people that only use ranged attacks when they have alternatives that are way more effective at the time.

That being said, there are a lot encounters that it is definitely easier to ranged attack than it is to melee. The easy way however isn’t always the best way.

As to the comment about dungeons, all 3 of us have the Dungeon Master title so we’ve done everything.

EDIT: @ Geofrroy: All of those points are things that you’re assuming we’re being unreasonable about. We get that crap happens and we don’t expect perfection and you’re taking some of those points way too literally.

As for Hounds of Balthazar: It ALWAYS takes the spot of an elite that is beneficial to the party.

Don’t bother with Lord Byron and Lambros, they are lost causes and should be avoided and ignored.

I would be interested in seeing your screenshots of 70+ BG zergs because like bigfoot they do not exist. The Jade BG map last night HAD a 70+ people zerg going after BG, it was all over teamspeak and you could hear the facepalming happening in real time.

As a side not I don t play a guardian or at least I haven t for some time. My mesmer is barely level 20 and I am playing whatever class I feel like having fun with at the moment. I don t play to win, I play to have fun and I am not having fun when I see hacks or when a group is purposefully making giant zerg raids to deny opponents a chance to fight….with all due respect

I only mentioned I would like to see Kaineng again because I had fun fighting them just like TC was fun fighting versus having to face a group made of 70 people..I never saw that until BG got to Tier 1. And by fun I mean being able to fight back instead of being roflstompedfacemelted with zero option to fight back.

Hopefully once the culling is removed we will deal with new game mechanics and it should hopefully improve how fights are done. I hope the year of the giant single zerg is going to be replaced with the year of the strats

Most impressive improvement: Kaineng. They went from a server nobody-cared-about to the top tier. You can almost make a film that depicts this tremendous journey.

Major disappointment: Blackgate (or SoSgate) has the potential of dethroning Jade Quarry but seems unable to keep the momentum going.

Got to love uneducated opinions.

First off, T1 has been a 2v1 against Blackgate since we got there, seeing as SoR still have pent up aggression toward us for maplocking them repeatedly in T2 during the BGvsSoRvsIoJ match. Then they got lucky with the rating change and shot to T1 despite having no legitimate reason to be there. The past 2 weeks have been Blackgate vs Sanctum of Jade (or Quarry of Rall, your choice), and it’s not even remotely fun.

Secondly, Kaineng is the product of numerous T1 and T2 guilds server transferring before the paid transfers were implemented in order to stack a server and stomp the lower tiers for their own circle-jerking amusement. It is less of a “tremendous journey” and more of “giving a third-world country advanced weaponry and tactics, but only letting the foreigners that brought the weapons use them.”

The grand irony is that T1 will actually be good again once Kaineng kicks SoR out.

As someone who has done almost all his map completion during T1 I can tell you it IS possible but you have to be patient. It mainly depends on what server you are on and what kind of commanders you have. Get what you can and make note of what you are missing and check the maps regularly that’s how I did it. Learn to recognize the good commanders and also learn to recognize when they are about to push an area that you need and go help them.

Point being : Anet clearly did not intend on fractals being your grind-for-money-dungeon. Its a way to get ascended gear, one of the many. Play it if you want that gear or the challenge of progression. Dont complain about loot, it would be OP and weapon skins would mean less if it was max loot. While I agree with the Fractal loot tables could use a buff, I will say I’ve been fairly lucky (lately) for the most part over the last couple weeks. I’ve found 4 ascended rings, 4-6 exotics, 8-12 rares and plenty of green/blues running Level 10-20 fracs over the last 2 weeks.

I actually UNPLUGGED my keyboard last night and am just using The Force to manipulate my mesmer over the interwebs. It took some practice but I think I can now actually sometimes loot a bag here and there but it’s hard to tell I get so distracted by all the flashing lights.

Pro tip: go back to when SoR first joined Tier One and how much we used to kitten and whine about 2v1s and omg soo zergy wtf. I would say we have come a long way!

1. Not every information is suposed to be known to customers. If you are talking about why is xxx class nerfed, then you failed to look at the bigger picture.
2. Read the patch notes. everything is there. Dont be paranoid.

Keeping players happy is how they keep their company afloat. If they are bad at it, the game would have been shut down by now.

Really everything is there? I read patch notes all the time. I don’t remember when they ninja buffed all the Fractal mobs, pretty sure they didn’t bother telling anyone about that. There are other small things like that. Trust me, I read all the patch notes too and I am not being paranoid……..

IN regards to my first comment, I was not speaking of class balancing. I was speaking about their silence on the way guesting works right now, about people being booted to overflows because they put ninja cap on people in pve zones, about the fractal ninja bump in difficulty(which really was not in any patch notes), about the issue of world event loot, dungeon loot, fractal loot, wvw loot, and the disparity between those 4. And tons of other threads made every day that they never respond to. Granted I know they are only one company and have only so many threads they can reply to in a day but if you read the dev tracker like I do then you WILL see a pattern.

If I did not love this game immensely I would not be playing it right now. If I did not care about it I would not even be replying to this thread. I am a patient person but I don’t understand how you do not see how frustrating this can be at times either.

Something is terribly wrong with this game. I don’t mind so much that they change things. What bothers me is

1. Their lack of response to certain issues in the game, numerous threads that they flat out WILL NOT respond to.
2. When they change things, sometimes they don’t even tell you what they changed our how they changed it and when you ask them about it you get…….nothing. One of the most ninja, annoying, frustrating, game companies I have ever been in a gaming relationship with.

I HAVE NEVER PLAYED A GAME WHERE THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO RUIN YOUR GAMING EXPERIENCE!!I that may not actually be the case but it certainly feels that way sometimes)
