Rangers are exactly where they need to be. If you’re getting exploded by a ranger that ranger has no defense and can get downed in 3 hits. Learn to counter a build before refusing to learn and quitting.
You are seeing more rangers because they are finally viable and playable not because they are overpowered.

Our numbers have grown and things have been going well. Still looking for some more to complete our objective of between 20-25 members. We will run havoc stuff as a guild group and join other guilds we are friendly with to get some larger fights in from time to time.

seriously all you do is play for second why don’t you man up and start attacking no.1 for once and actually go for that no.1 spot instead of playing for second.
You guys must be fighting for 2nd too because I see not one ounce of green on SBI BL. In fact as I’m writing this I see 3 red camps on SBI and not 1 green stronghold anywhere.

Make 1 million of these ridiculous forum posts and it matters not. Warriors are frontline melee and are structured to do just what they are doing, steamroll your face.
A “League” for a 24/7 persistent open world PvE/PvP is pretty much the most ridiculous form of on-line “competition” that could have been imagined.
ANet needs to focus on a structured form of GvG similar to Guild Wars 1 where guilds press an Enter button and wait for a match making system to find matches.
World V World is an incredibly fun form of server wide PvP but in no way shape or form is it or will it ever be “League” material in it’s current form. Only MASSIVE changes may do that to it.
When running with 10 players or less our food varies. Omnomberry Bread, Lemongrass Poultry Soup, and Mango Pies are the most common with just 2 parties. When running with 20 or more it’s always a tray of Omnomberry Compotes.
We always change food based on what classes we have available and we always run defensive foods.
Duels are great and I’m a full supporter of dueling. However, if I see 2 players engaged in combat and it’s not behind the windmill or some other secluded place that the players have arranged to meet, I’m stomping the enemy and helping my teammate. When your teammates need help in the open field there’s no time to stop and say, “Excuse me server mate, but do you need me to help you?”
Great fights in Yak’s Bend BL the past few hours NSP. Don’t let the population based PPT get you guys down. Keep bringing the fights. I’m the blue haired hammer warrior on the front lines from HvC.
A “league” for a persistent 24/7 open world pvp game mode with a hugely imbalance of player populations. Utterly ridiculous, ludicrous, preposterous, outrageous, and nonsensical. (Yes I used thesaurus.com)
Yak’s Bend holding strong in the middle of Silver League. A great place to be for tons of actions and great gameplay. Surely a contender during the season. We’re always looking to expand.
Nyx, my guild transferred to Yak’s Bend last week and we couldn’t be happier. We did a ton of research of different servers for a few weeks before we moved here. This is the most welcoming community for WvW hands down. We feel right at home and we haven’t even been here for 1 week yet. Good luck with your decision. I know Yak’s Bend would love to have you.
Havoc Corps is looking to fill some positions we recently evicted. Currently we intend to fill our roster at 40 players. Players will be expected to be active and if not they will be removed from the guild and the position filled. Quality over quantity. Our focus is behind enemy lines havoc and we focus less on the zerg.

Our guild just transferred to Yak’s Bend last night. The welcome we received within literally the first 30 minutes of being on the server was impressive. We were set up almost immediately on the public Teamspeak and on the community website, both of which are very active. We joined in to play with others on the server and we found that we could not have chosen a better place to move to. Very organized.
Just witnessed this 50 on 50. Was cheering for BP but they didn’t come out on top. In all fairness SBI dropped a number of balistas and did have the bridge choke advantage.
Best to worst:
Mesmer > Warrior > Necro > Engie > Ranger. Beyond that I do not know.
And keep in mind the correctly traited and countered build in the hands of good to great players any class can beat any class.
So from the first few posts of this thread it seems we can look forward to HoD posting a reply everytime an arrow cart cripples one of our players or when they flip one of our camps for the duration of the claimer buff. Atta Bo!
On a side note I’m looking to 1v2 some HoD players. Any duo roaming groups on HoD /bow to me for a 1v2. I’m a blue haired/bearded warrior. And as a handicap I’ll use level 60 Masterwork rarity armor.
