Hi, I logged in yesterday and my October monthly achievement is already complete. I did not get any loot or laurels for it. Anyone experiencing the same issue?

The game is supposed to have different exclusive rewards for different game modes. PvPers still cant get a lot of LS skins. Besides, the whole patch is not even show yet. Why are you crying already?

Standard Enemy Models in SoloQ

I believe the issue of tiny Asuras is present throughout both SoloQ and TeamQ. SoloQ players do take into account the enemy’s animation, and thus are subjected to the tiny Asuras issue. The quality of life improvement of Standard Enemy Modes can be very substantial, even for SoloQ. Furthermore, I do not see how having this option can be an issue for SoloQ. The players are free to choose whether to use it or not. The only ones being negatively affected by this option are the tiny Asuras, who had their combat advantages, which should not have existed in the first place, removed. Therefore, implementing Standard Enemy Models in SoloQ both gives a huge quality of life improvement and eliminates the issue that has been plaguing the PvP scene of this game ever since release.

Please consider it. Thank you.

While I do agree necro is forgiving and can take a lot of punishment, using how often one dodges as a measure of skill is very false. Due to lack of vigor, dodges are best saved for big hits. Furthermore, necro has very good counter pressure (chill, crip, fumb, fear), and can trade hits well.

Knight/Soldier gear doesnt justifies enough raw dmg to go deep into spite. Knight gear actually doesnt give u that much dmg due to lack of power. If you want to stay with Knight then on crit sigil is mandatory. Your stat has low dmg/high tankiness, while your build tries to scale on dmg without any tankiness scaling, so you end up with mediocre dmg and mediocre survivability. No stability or stun break with mediocre survivability is an issue.

Try not to go deep in Spite. Blood and Soul scale much better in low dmg/high tankiness builds. 30 in Soul with DP actually gives about the same dmg as 30 in Spite with CtD.

Assuming that your bleed tick calculation really is correct:

1/ Condition in pve is weak, anyone semi serious about pve wont go condition.

2/ The only place condition really matters is wvw, in which case bleed stacks usually dont reach to 25, due to all the massive aoe cleanse. Therefore, it is important to add in the effect of precision

3/ 5% is not small, especially when it comes to roaming in wvw.

Since dev is here, can we raise the question about Putrid Mark? As far as i remember the nerf never came into patch notes and there has been no official answer on it.

The heaviest nerfs was taking Illusion Celerity to 25 minor trait, and reducing Illusion Signet health boost. Justifiable nerfs IMO.

In pvp it is crucial to understand other classes. It would be a lot more helpful to note what the mesmer did so we can actually give some constructive advice. If you cant do that then the problem is not as much about mesmer vs necro as it is about your level of skill.

Open world Duels [Merged]

I want duels, and I’m aware of the problems associated with open world duels. The reason I want it is because it is pretty hard finding proper 1v1 either in the Mist or WvW. Instead of open world duels, you can just add a duel option in the Mist where you can queue to duel random people or make a 1v1 map to duel with your friends (without cost ,please). It would also be nice to have the same duel concept in WvW where you use your pve gear instead.

It s probably an idea already posted. Just so you know I would prefer a condition that deals damage based on existing conditions on the target, either by number or by the damage of those conditions. I want it to be short, with a long cooldown, and impactful. This solves the problem of condition cap in dungeons or world events. It will give the necro some burst, and may need to be toned down a bit in PvP/WvW.

I just feel the ability to be able to duel a player anywhere is a must… I dont want to have to go to a private server every time i want to fight a friend

Whats the point of unbalanced duelling ?

It s mostly for fun. Especially while waiting for events and everyone starts getting bored. Also, WvW gearing is different and i want to test it in a more controlled fashion since WvW can be a mess sometimes.

I dont get why ppl hates it though. There was a good idea of making duel invite blocked by default until you unblock it.

Necro Axe 2 and 3 LF gain

If my memory serves correctly, axe 2 used to give a lot more LF and axe 3 used to give LF. Is it a bug or an update that i missed cause now axe 2 barely gives any LF and axe 3 gives no LF at all.
