withdraw+ vigorous recovery+ feline grace+flanking strike+signet of agility
this is almost perma evade, and u can switch to shortbow and disabling shot+ infiltrator’s arrow+energy sigil if u want.

And yes thief got the best endurance regen in this game =)

Thief is OP in real coordinated teamQ, or top soloQ where all superpugs know what theyre doing. If youre a “bad” thief you may feel weak, but thats a l2p issue. But why learn your class, when you know theres a “black thiefy wall” upcoming, which you will never pass?

1) There is NO other counter than also play thief.
Never was and never….maybe….. but the mobility is just worth too much to give up strategically.

2) S/D evade is actualy good in most 1v1 matchups.
A mobile fortress? you get the idea how broken it sounds

3) Initiative = No CDs .
Old problem. It wont get fixed, just remember that it exists and hope that they keep it somewhat balanced. point 1&2 are bigger for pvp

This is complete BS. A full existing team vs actual All Stars from different teams as it’s supposed to be. GG. This isn’t all stars, this is NA all stars Vs an EU Tol team. If Anet were going to send a full team to Gamescon you might as well have just sent the ToL winners from each region instead. What a joke.

i’m talking about s/d thief.
other thief builds are ok imo, since u can counter it, but doesn’t matter how they buff other zerk classes, ppl will stay with your bunker specs because thief can counter any zerker spec.

Steal is op, sure it is.
But s/d thief is not just about steal, u have initiative all the time, teleports, ilfiltrator’s strike, infiltrator’s signet, cloak and dagger, flanking strike, shadow refuge, infiltrator’s arrow, withdraw, signet of agility, feline grace, vigorous recovery, fluid strikes, kleptomaniac, preparedness, spam evades (u dont even need to think when to evade, just hit evade button all the time and its ok), and hit like 5k all the time cause u have sigil air/fire, and im not even mention trickery line and the fact that when u switch to shortbow u have energy sigil.
Now, how can you say this is not op?

S/d thief is fine, they just have few good skills.

Though I completely agree that Sizer’s S/D thief build is a cancer to PvP, I don’t believe the weapon set is the problem.

The problems with Sizer’s 20066 S/D thief build:

My main problem with this S/D build is the damage it can put out when it has 0 points in critical strikes. This is ALL due to “Sigil of Air” and “Sigil of Fire” as well as a 20s cooldown on “Steal” allowing the thief to never run out of initiative (Stealing Grants 2 initiative). The build is obviously meant to be a bunker thief so i have no problem with its sustain.

My ideal fix for the situation:
1) Don’t let “Sigil of Air” and “Sigil of Fire” stack or increase the proc cooldown to 8 seconds for both Sigils. Currently these two Sigils ruin nearly every Zerker vs Zerker fight with RNG and carry builds with little damage and high sustain, to suddenly have high damage and high sustain.
2) Increase the cooldown of “Steal” from 20s to 30s ATLEAST. There will be problems with this, I will address them below. or add some counter play so “Steal” can be dodged.
3) Huge damage reduction in “Flanking strike”, as this is an evade not a offensive skill. I suggest a base damage of around 200 rather than the 500 as it is currently. “Larcenous strike” already deals enough damage, it doesn’t need the extra damage of “Flanking strike”. “Larcenous strike” also has telegraphed animations so can be dodged.

Problems with increasing “Steal” cooldown:
This will hurt every thief build a lot more than S/D so the other thief builds must be given some sustain changes in order to keep them viable as D/P and S/P thieves need the steal to help with sustaining themselves, however these sustain changes must not be able to be used by S/D thieves as they already have enough sustain.

FYI: Any S/D thief that considers these changes to be too harsh, Sizer actually gave me most of the input on them. The main one being the Steal cooldown increase.

I play thief since beta and this is MY opinion, if u have a different one ok, but til now u said nothing to refute my words.

This tournament favored team paradigm, just look brackets, and do bo5 after you guys play all day was at least ridiculous, they had better have given the prize directly to tp. And yes nerf spirits.

its pretty much impossible to play with this lag in south america, now i can play for like 1-2 hours day.
Please fix this.
