Where’s the option?

I used to see a notification when a Dynamic Event (DE) was happening on the current map I am in but I no longer see this. I don’t mean when you walk in the vicinity of a DE but one that is not close but is in the same map.
I have looked in options but do not see an option to turn this on or off.

Can anyone advise?

Got in now. Lots complaining about TP down though.

Took me 4 attempts to relog into the game after dropping out loading the Maw fractal. Got back in but again sat looking at the loading screen. All other internet is fine including these forums. Just me?

Been playing the game fine. Was fighting Maw, I guess at the exact moment he died the game crashed. Now I can’t get back in

They revamp tomorrow, when they are removed from the game.

I hate doing the daily but I have to do them. I’m an achievement point collector. The issue is now I spend far too much time chasing daily items rather than just playing the game. I spoke to a friend who also said they have the same issue.

It would be nice if they were changed to encourage more natural game play. Something like, you need 1000 points to complete the daily. Points are earned by completing different tasks…

PvE kill = 2
Dynamic Event = 30
Champion Slay = 50
Exp Dungeon = 200
World Boss = 150
Resource Node = 5
etc etc

Points are well off, but you get my drift?

Remove them and put Karma straight into the wallet.

If your going to be working on making achievements easier to track can you please update the Dungeons to show which paths have been completed?

Would be nice if we could also Ctrl click Achievements to show others who far we have progressed.

Disappointed. I have alts that are mid leveling but above level 20 so useless to me. Why not just make them 20 levels for any character. At least anyone above 80 can get 20 skill points from these things.

I’m annoyed. I have all Living Story achievement apart from this final one.

Three months the event is on going then you give people two days to get the final reward/achievement? It’s not like most events that come around again a year after this is set to never return.

Seriously disappointed yet again with this game. Why they couldn’t be left in the game is beyond me.

After playing Asura I honestly can’t play any other race due to their slow animations, kittenty looking jump and jump-dodges. I’ve removed two 50+ sylvari’s and humans for this reason.

I suffer the same issues at this guy.
I wanted a big character so ran a Charr Warrior to 80. I then started an asuran guardian but deleted him at 20 due to weapon size issues. I then rerolled a human. He then got wiped and I went back to asura. I then rolled a human and leveled him to 60. Eventually I deleted the human and went back to asura. I love the asura. They have the best animations in the game. It’s so much of an issue now that 7 out of 8 char slots are asura. Never know, that charr might be deleted to be rerolled as a warrior one day

I never planned to play the race. I hated them in GW1 and was set on never touching them. Sadly, they are epic

I just with weapon sizes we not an issue.

Correct. Pretty crap to say your a paying customer yet have to pay further to keep using your purchase as you upgrade your armour.

I purchased the Primeval armour at launch. Its been sat in my bank since that day. I’ll use it one day when I find armour worth using it on.

Annoyed me for some time now. I usually wait until my swiftness runs out before laying down SoS. Really it should be stacking its full duration but I guess the way the skill works is as yuD said. The game doesn’t know if the current swiftness came from SoS.

Sitting in SoS for its duration will give you 9+1+1+1+1 of swiftness. If they didn’t do it this way then it would be 9+9+9+9+9 which of course is overpowered.

Really though this is a limitation in the game mechanics.

I had the same problem. I hated them in GW so refused to play them in GW2. Now I have all but 2 characters that are Asura after re-rolling my characters.
Like you I hate walking around with small weapons but oh well, they are easily the best profession in the game.

Adding my post not that it will make any difference.

Same as others, playing since betas and had issues during release etc but since then its been pretty smooth. For the past week or so game is running fine but then you have lag spikes. Can be fighting a boss when you need to dodge, you come out of the spike having missed the dodge and half health.

I know its not my end as pings to Google etc show fine whilst I am experiencing the issues in game.

Is this meant to be pow as in power?

Vit/pov/tough probably is the most allround gear and can solve pretty much everything.

I am investing in a vit/pow/toughness set now but I notice I loose a lot of crit chance when swapping out my knights armour. Is this correct?

Can I give some hints for account security? I personally use the following…

• Create a new email address with random letters that is used nowhere else
• Create a password with random letters and numbers, again unique to this site/game
• Use the Mobile Google Authenticator (Currently in beta)

I did this because I have seen connection attempts to my account when I was using my normal everyday email address. With the above set I feel my account is as secure as I can currently get it.

Before the patch elevation would cause Leap of Faith to sometimes miss. Since the patch my character can sometimes jump though the target, make the hit and then warps to the area I would have expected to land. Since the patch it doesn’t seem to have fixed anything but rather introduced a new bug where I now can leap though my target.

Sorry to bump this but I wouldn’t mind a response from the devs about this. It’s a valid request and one that will make the company more money from its customers.
Also maybe implement paid character name changes?

Or allow us to swap 4 Basic for 1 Fine at the Mystic Forge?

Just confirming what others are saying. The scanning fails however manually adding the code works.

I can see why though. My main warrior is no longer my main, my guardian is. Love the class.

I re-rolled my level 66 Guardian for a human JUST because of the small legendary item issue. Really shame as Asura is the best race in game.

They said they would add something like this agesssss ago.
It wasn’t set for launch. Would be nice to know when though.

I like my Asura but the small armour/weapons is an issue in a game where vanity is king.

Thanks. Just been pulling my hair out about this. Regardless of this its still a bug as it should show as contested and not completely disappear from the map or from physical sight.

That doesn’t make sence though as the video someone posted online showed mobs being knocked back further when a norm used the skill.

I had an asura. Deleted at level 10 for a human. Deleted him and started asura again. Wasn’t sure so created a human again. Afetr a while I decided to stay asura.

I love everything about the guy however the biggest issue I have is this game is about vanity. You don’t get to really show that with a small character.

The AoE shield bug I don’t see in the patch notes so presume its still broken.

The guardian has access to neither. So what’s the point?

Isn’t the ultimate answer for everyone to just prevent swearing whilst in game?
