I’ve got to say, I just did Toypocalypse for the first time and I was completely letdown by the rewards we got. Rather I should say, the rewards we didn’t get.
No chest, no daily bonus, no coin, just the same ol’ useless presents that give a ton of crappy wool items.
I really loved the Halloween event but Wintersday sadly just pales in comparison.

1 player turning into 40, 2 players attacking you without you even seeing them, and the list goes on.

Sadly this new culling system hasn’t worked from the moment it was applied. There are many of us who put a lot of time into WvsW that would really appreciate if you could fix the problems caused by the current culling system.

Currently, if you accept the queue popup for a battlegrounds while in combat, you are instantly killed and arrive dead upon loading the new zone.

I’m sure this is tied into the mechanism that deals with logging off to avoid death penalites, however the system should be able to differentiate between legitimate zone changes. Sometimes it’s just unavoidable to be in combat after being forced to wait lengthy periods of time for a queue to become available.

Hopefully this issue can be looked into.

The Wintersday Mystery boxes are only giving two items as well, and not giving the proper items as per their description. So perhaps the underlying mechanic for these chests needs to be examined as they’re likely directly related.

I purchased a Rare Mystery Wintersday Box from the gem store and received only 2 common gift boxes which gave 2 ugly sweaters, and 2 festive mortars.

I did not receive a random item only available in the store, as indicated in the patch notes below.

From the December 14 Patch Notes:

“Rare mystery Wintersday boxes will have a chance to drop throughout the world. They will also be available in the consumable category of the Gem Store. They will contain gifts available in-game, plus a random item only available in the store.”

Is it possible the boxes aren’t working as intended? Or perhaps the patch notes incorrectly indicated to players what would be found in the boxes?

Regardless, spending 2g22s for <5s worth of common and freely available items from the Trading Post was extremely disappointing.

I was sorely disappointed after spending 2g 22s on 100 gems only to get 2 ugly sweaters and 2 mortars from a Wintersday Mystery Box. These items are freely available on the trading post and cost less than 5 silver total.

To say I feel ripped off is an understatement. If you want to encourage players to purchase gems then you should at least receive something of value for your effort, not simply a minuscule chance at something worthwhile.

Anyone else experience disappointing results from their boxes? I’d be curious to know if it’s not just me.

I did not receive a random item only available in the store. I received two plain gift boxes that gave me two common ugly sweaters, and 2 festive mortars. Both of which are not available through the gem store.

Hence, I feel that it could be possible the mystery boxes are not working as intended.

I am a Human Elementalist and since the last major patch I’ve noticed that with the One With Air trait equipped, my speed while in Air Attunement is a lot slower than normal. I’ve tested this with another player extensively and have come to the conclusion that our speed is stuck (for both our Elementalists) at +110% movement speed instead of 125%

I’d be interested to know if anyone else has experienced this bug.

With this change, I effectively can no longer play in World vs World. Even groups of 3 people do not appear until half way through the fight.

I’ve never experienced anything remotely resembling this until this new culling system.

I sincerely hope it will not be like this all weekend.

The Ranger pet will res the ranger in the water even when the pet is dead.

Even though I’m sure this type of game breaking mechanic must have been already reported, it’s always helpful to have a friendly reminder.

I’d also like to voice my concern in regards to this bug.

I am an Asura female Engineer who just recently started running Citadel of Flame. I’m having trouble understanding why they’d make a chest piece that completely removes the appearance of all shoulder piece graphics. The chest piece minus the shoulders really looks incomplete and I hope they fix this issue soon. Otherwise why waste time and tokens on a completing a set you’ll never fully see?

I believe I’ll return to the game and submit a bug report.
