Sea of Sorrows/Isle of Janthir are currently being absolutely roflstomped by Eredon terrace.
For those who don’t want to look at the picture,
Eradon Terrace – 206,892 points
Isle of Janthir – 53,736 points
Sea of Sorrows (Living up to it’s name) – 42,405 points
Eradon Terrace has been completely dominating almost every single control point on all 4 maps and spawn camping every entrance of other servers since the match started.
WvW is so broken for these servers right now that there is no point in even playing.
Here is a video of one of the guilds assisting Eradon Terrace in doing this, you will see they have 10+ golems and countless siege weapons and dozens of players camping spawns.. people don’t even try and fight back.
WvW is the main activity at 80, you are going to lose half the playerbase if these balance issues aren’t rectified.

Can I please have my tome of influence given back to me seeing as it didn’t work?
I paid extra for it, I paid real life money for it, not in game gold.
I expect to get what I paid for or I will be ringing customer support in a calm and polite fashion every day until my issue is resolved.
Bump, still no valid reply from support, on the forums or from a game master.
Come on arenanet, why are you letting us down like this?
They did get merged, I have absolutely no idea why, they had nothing to do with one another.
I’ve e-mailed the forum administrator to have them unmerged if possible.
Because having fun and feeling rewarded is bad, obviously.
I simply won’t accept that answer from support.
I paid for the digital deluxe upgrade. I am going to receive what I paid for otherwise I will expect a complete refund for it.
If they are selling things which don’t work and then won’t fix the problem and give us another item, they should immediately remove the digital deluxe upgrade from the gem store/official site and refund everyone who has paid for it up until this point.
I’ve been really happy with GW2 up until this point, but dealing with their is an utter nightmare.

Oh well, given the way arenanet handles loot it was probably just a level 20 blue anyway lol.
I would hope that they have multiple teams looking at these issues and not just focusing on 1 problem.
As far as I am concerned, this is an extremely severe game breaking bug and it has to be addressed as such.
As I have said, I haven’t even seen them say they are aware of this issue yet.. it’s very worrying :\
Any chance a developer could at least say you are working on this issue and give us an ETA on the fix?
Will I have my digital deluxe tome refunded? It is something I paid for extra (you sell it in the gem store) and it didn’t work..
I’m sorry but exploration mode dungeons/zerging around Orr simply doesn’t cut it for the vast majority of players who are only really interested in PvE content.
I’ve done the majority of exploration mode dungeon paths and it simply isn’t enough. It’s too easy.
No, I’m not asking for raiding. That isn’t what this game wants to do.. what do I think it should do? Something with the same skill level of raiding from games like WoW.
Add another level above exploration mode for each dungeon that requires level 80 and is extremely skill and strategy based and drops unique skinned rares/exotics on boss kills or something like that.
At the moment the PvE content at 80 is so minimal and easy that people plow through it within a week when they have a semi-skilled group and are left wanting more.

It really seems like there is no consistency of information between arenanet developers, one says one thing, the other says something completely opposite..
Just look at when Kripparian was banned for exploiting, first it was a 72 hour ban, then a permanent ban, then back to 72, then he had his ban lifted before those 72 hours were up..
There needs to be consistency.

Are therr a bunch of people running around posting macroed comments in every forum they logg into? Feels like a beta? Bs seriously Bs. Thre are bugs in this games, sure but VERY few for such a large piece of software. Besides NO SOFTWARE IS WITHOUT BUGS! Reapeat after me NEVER EVER. It´s simply not possible with the Thousands and thousands of code in modern software. And if any of you armchair developers had ever coded anything in your life you´d know. Feels like a beta… my Kittens.

The game has an enormous amount of bugs in it and it could have had another 6+ months in development and probably still been filled with bugs there is that many.. if you say otherwise, you simply haven’t experienced enough content to form a valid opinion.
Why does arenanet seem so intent on giving us horrible rewards for everything in this game?
Dungeons drop blues, greens if you are lucky and things like monthly achievements give 67 copper and mystic coins which are barely ever useful.. really?
Where is the harm in giving people cool stuff? Even just unique skins? Sigh.
Imagine if monthly achievements all gave a unique weapon skin/armor skin set depending on what month it was, now that would be cool..

I appreciate you trying to help but I have already posted there, nothing has been done yet.
Also, the developer in there seems to be only trying to fix guilds that have disappeared, not guilds that are having problems like mine.
The problem I am having has been completely ignored up until now to my knowledge, it hasn’t been acknowledged even once.. it worries me.
You would not call me crazy if you had experienced the amount of bugs I have.
Random bugs I don’t really care about, but the ones that really bother me are ones that either corrupt an otherwise amazing experience that I’m really only going to want to experience once (Zhaitan fight)
Or, bugs that completely wreck certain rewards/parts of the game for me that can never be fixed because I have already experienced them (Wasting my digital deluxe edition tome, end of game personal story rewards giving me level 20 blues instead of level 80 exotics)..
I won’t ever get the guild members back that have left due to my guild being broken, they have moved on and I don’t blame them..
These bugs have permanently ruined parts of my gameplay experience and even if they are fixed now, the damage is done.. those are the bugs that really irk me.
TwistedWarrior, just because those games had horrible quality control does not excuse every game in the future from having bugs.
Going to give this one final bump in hope of a developer seeing it..
It really seems like they are ignoring the problem to be honest.. I haven’t seen any acknowledgement of this bug existing at all..

My guild, White Lion Raiding Company on Sea of Sorrows has been broken for days now and support/reporting a bug/posting on these forums has not helped us at all.
What can I do in this situation? Is there some way I can fix this myself? I tried making new guilds to see if we could recreate this one and have it not be bugged but they all were broken just like this one.
As guild leader I have no privileges whatsoever besides inviting people/renaming ranks.
I wasted my digital deluxe “Tome of influence” and my personal story +400 influence scroll and they didn’t work at all, they were both wasted.. Am I going to be reimbursed for these?
Support hasn’t helped me, they basically told me to go away and report the bug in game, but I have already done that days ago!!!! Posting here in the guild bug sticky hasn’t helped and it seems they are fixing a completely different issue with guilds disappearing.
I am really frustrated at the moment as are my remaining guild members who haven’t already left because of this issue!
I am sorry if I come off as impatient but this is a game breaking issue for us and we feel we are being completely and utterly ignored.
What do I do to fix this? Preferably soon before the rest of my guild leaves.
Now now, hold the pitchforks. Let me start off by saying Guild Wars 2 is one of my most favourite games of all time, if not my most favourite. I think they have absolutely nailed most of the game and I will no doubt be playing it for years to come.
With that said, I really feel like the state of the game is completely unacceptable at the moment with so many bugs.
I run a guild and currently as leader I have no power whatsoever other than to invite new members.. I have also wasted my digital deluxe tome of influence bonus along with my 400 influence personal story bonus as when I used them they did not work due to a bug.. in short, my guild is totally and utterly broken and members are leaving because of it.
There has been no response to my support ticket nor has there been any reply to my problem on the guild bugs thread in the bug forum.. There is no fix in sight, it seems like my guild has simply been forgotten.
While this is my main issue with the game at the moment, I have encountered countless other bugs with the game all over the place, whether it be that multiple zones have bugged skill points/hearts that make me getting 100% map completion impossible, whether dungeon paths bug out after me and my group have spent an hour in there blocking progress and forcing us to abandon our party or restart..
Even the moment that is supposed to be the culmination of the entire game – the Zhaitan(spelling?) fight bugged out for us and all he did was sit on a tower for 5 minutes while we shot cannons at him, he offered no resistance whatsoever.. it was such a huge let down
Oh and after we did that? I got my personal story completion bonus – 5 exotic loot boxes that were supposed to give me a random item.. they give me level 20-30 blues, I then google this to find out they are bugged at the moment and are supposed to give level 80 exotics.. I really don’t expect I will be reimbursed which is also incredibly disappointing.
The post is getting very long now and I apologize for that but I really wanted to just come out and say that I don’t think Guild Wars 2 has the sort of polish that a game on release should have. Orr feels completely unfinished and a tacked on afterthought, it’s so incredibly disappointing..
However I don’t feel the problems with the game are so bad that they can’t be rectified, so I urge you arenanet, do all you can to fix them and make this the game it was born to be.

Wow, I just finished my personal story and I was hoping for something amazing and instead I got low level 20 blues from my 5 boxes.
Please, Vincent, I beg of you to reimburse players that opened these while it was bugged when you do fix it
Between this and my digital deluxe guild influence + 400 influence personal story scroll being wasted because guilds are broken and the final elder dragon fight consisting of pressing 2 for 5 minutes, I’m really starting to feel like this game needed another 6 months in development..
I’m incredibly let down and disappointed in my favourite game company right now.. please make it right.. thank you

It has now been two days since my guild has been completely broken, my members are starting to leave as they think it won’t ever be fixed.. my support ticket remains unanswered nor have you commented on my guilds problems in this topic..
Is there any ETA on when my guild will be fixed? It is incredibly disappointing to have my members leave because of this..

Issue: The issue we have been having is that since the guild was created today, the guild leader (me, Dominus Telvayn) is unable to do anything besides invite new members. I can not modify ranks or do anything at all, all the options are greyed out.
The secondary part of this issue is that I used my Tome of Influence I got from the digital deluxe edition along with the 400 influence bonus from my personal story on the guild, and neither of them worked. I am 100% sure I was representing my guild at the time and the influence was counted in my personal achievement, but not in the guild.
I would appreciate it so much if you guys could resolve this for us, I know how busy you are and how hard the workload must be but it is very difficult to recruit new members or keep my current ones when the guild is so broken and is unable to progress at all.

EDIT: We also now have a new problem, our guild tag WLRC not showing up. It just has “[]” after our name instead of “[WLRC]”.
