Folks, they put a countdown into the daily/monthly window, so you know exactly how much time you have.
They continue to use GMT, because then it’s equally unfair to everyone.

I could see the count down, and actually had an hour to do the 6 events but I had class to go to which is what I meant by “work”. I’m not going to skip a class for the monthly but I’m just expressing my concerns. I’ll do it right next time but that doesn’t mean I’m not still angsty about it!
I believe there is a previous thread about this issue, but I’d like to make a new one to bring it out into view.
With the new patch today, my monthly achievement was reset. This would be perfectly fine by me except for the fact that I almost had my monthly done with having to do only 6 events left. I thought that I’d had all the time today to be able to finish the monthly before midnight, but no, it reset while I was out busy with work.
I’d like to strongly suggest that Arena Net takes into account regional time or timezones that are out there. Somewhere else it may be May 1st, but for me it’s still April 30th and now my chances of getting the monthly are GONE…

I’m sorry but I’m greatly interested in Rata Sum having a jumping puzzle! The idea of having one going along the outside would be great, but what about having one go down into Rata Sum itself? So far the drop through the center is lethal, but I’ve actually made it down without dying before and can imagine there being little labs to work with down there (which also includes my idea that there should be more signs of Asuran housing, or maybe showing how they live in Rata Sum specifically).
Besides that, Hoelbrak would be a good place to have a jumping puzzle maybe with one of the lodges, or even better, a mountain climb!
I like the idea of there being a jumping puzzle along the Black Citadel exterior!

With the soon to be released beta which involves custom arenas and spectating in PvP,
including solo matches, I think that one aspect that the Guild Wars 2 Development team could integrate into the PvP system is dueling without having to make a custom arena.
While dueling will be accessible just from making a custom arena in the future update, I think there should be an opportunity in the PvP arena to battle 1v1 without having to worry about affording a custom arena. The possibility of challenging a friend to a duel in an arena/colosseum, where others can spectate, would be exciting!
There could be Tournaments on player’s individual skill as well as dueling simply for fun between friends.
This is what I have in mind. I understand that it may not be implemented because of the new beta system coming out, but I do hope that the Development Team at least has gone over this idea.
What do you guys think?
(P.S. I also have an idea that there could be dueling that takes place in the PvE world where players can challenge others to fight, and have PvP activated between said players until one of them is downed, like when fighting allied AI for skill points, but this would be an entirely different suggestion)
They should have a basic melee option with fighting. Like a way to defend yourself without any weapons. It would be neat to have the slot unlocks occur slower, so that you start out with only one slot and progress with more later on, to really get the essence that a character is learning new brawl techniques.

I started a few days ago (Janurary 7th, 2013 to be exact!) and have started up a guild for any friends my character makes along the way. It has yet to grow, but I see an epic rp guild in the future.
The guild is called “Fellowship of the Golem” and it takes place in Rata Sum, the Asuran Capitol. I expect that there will be a lot of rpers who are Asuran joining my guild, but it is open to any race.
I don’t expect the guild to get big fast, but I’m looking forward to a rp group that consists of relaxed to intense roleplayers joining up for some action and adventuring in Tyria.

I started up a guild recently in Borlis Pass and it consists of only me and 2 others at the moment. I plan to keep it tight nit and with a good group of roleplayers. The catch with the guild though is that my main is an Asura and the guild takes place (at the moment) in the Asuran capitol city. If you’d be interesting in joining, the guild is called “Fellowship of the Golem” and it is open to any race despite its location. On how it handles with these top-notch guilds, well you’ll have to make that judgement for yourself.
