Your character doesn’t stop developing after 80. You can refine it better, by getting better gear and tweaking your spec here and there to suit your playstyle. I don’t believe you have optimised your character if you have just hit 80.

I’ll like to add, that it not only shows up in the guild register, it displays it on the top right of my character selection screen as well. Haven’t verified if anyone else can see it in the guild register though.

I have a similar problem. I deleted a character as I wanted to start a fresh one. Now I can’t create it. When I enter a valid unique name it returns to the character selection screen without creating the character. The slot is still empty.

Anybody have any idea why?

We all get it. But its a non issue. There are a million ways to skin a cat. How you choose to do it, is up to you. There are always going to be people who play in a style that is unintended. Kudos to them if they are content not playing the game properly.

You can also get the dodge achievement quickly by running through orr and dodging attacks. Ohh noes, they weren’t fighting foes when they were dodging!

If people put as much thought into other things, rather than ways to circumvent systems.

Agree with others. Its just common sense and logic. You transferred your players, you didn’t transfer everything you ever touched.

You don’t need a popup for everything. Its part of the learning experience. Make mistakes and be merry.

Call me insane. But I quite like playing as Engineer. Its not perfect, but I can survive a whole lot longer than my Warrior.

They aren’t nerfing it because people are using it too much. They are nerfing it because there is an imbalance in terms of damage compared to single target attacks.

As a casual (maybe 2-3 hours playing a day). I’m lucky to make 5g a month.

I’m level 80 on an Engineer, and still haven’t finished my personal story. At the level 75 or so mission, I started doing dungeons and the special events instead. I’m a new dad, I don’t have a lot of time, and I solo play 6 days a week and group for dungeons one. Orr has really taken the fun out of my personal story.

I’m also a L80 Engineer and I haven’t even stepped one foot into the Cursed Shore. In a similar situation; personal story around L77. Impossible to solo these areas. All but given up. Most people have moved on, and you hardly see anyone walking around to help you out.

Firstly I’m from CD, and play in offpeak (from Australia).

I’ve never noticed this. Granted I don’t play WvWvW a lot. Mostly PvE. Only really play WvWvW to get the monthly achievements. However, when I play (once every 3-4 days for 1-2 hours) people generally do follow instructions in chat.

If so, why people get more reward for doing easier dungeon FASTER and get MORE REWARD. While doing HARDER dungeon LONGER and get LESS reward.

It would be like telling, here is the easy one, do this one only cause it’s quick and easy, better reward too, don’t do that hard one over there cause it’s bad take too long and not worth the time for too little reward.

Then what is the point for Developers to waste all these time making 7 dungeons not worth doing and why not just make 1 dungeon, AC, save time effort and development cost.

Maybe not everyone wants to do things easy in life. Some people actually like a challenge and a bit of variety.
